We Will Not Be Threatened!

Iran is next!

According to a report in the HAARETZ publication online in February this year it was stated that Israeli Satellite Images Revealed Iran had built a Military Base near Damascus northeast of Syria’s capital. Back on September 6th 2007 the Israeli air force destroyed Syria’s Nuclear Reactor. Yesterday in the Israel Today publication online a headline read; “Israel Confirms It Destroyed Syrian Nuclear Reactor, Warns Iran It’s Next.” The article went on to say “Israel on Wednesday formally acknowledged what everyone already knew – that its air force destroyed Syria’s nuclear reactor on September 6, 2007.

Get the message!

For over 10 years, Israeli officials have merely “winked” when asked about the operation. Now that its official, the IDF is calling the covert bombing operation deep inside Syrian territory a warning shot for other enemies. “The message of the attack on the reactor in 2007 is that Israel will not accept the construction of a capability that threatens the existence of the State of Israel. That was the message in ’81. That was the message in 2007. And that is the message to our enemies for the future,” said IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot.

The courageous decision

Both Defence Minister Avigdor Liberman and Intelligence Minister Israel Katz more directly suggested that if Iran continues to seek nuclear weapons, its next. “Our enemies’ motivation has increased in recent years, but so has the might of the IDF… This equation should be understood by anyone in the Middle East,” said Liberman. Katz tweeted that “the courageous decision of the Israeli government almost 11 years ago to destroy the nuclear reactor in Syria and the successful operation following it sends a clear message: Israel will never allow countries like Iran who threaten its existence to have nuclear weapons.”

A future war with Iran

When the Messiah (before He became flesh) appeared to his servant the prophet Daniel He said to Daniel; “Soon I will return to fight against the Prince of Persia.” (Daniel 10:20) In its prophetic context it was a future war that Israel would have with Iran and that in this war Israel’s Messiah would fight Iran. Supporting the Messiah in this war would be Michael, Israel’s prince and protector (Daniel 10:21) (Daniel 12:1) Israel’s warning to Iran is no idle threat. If the Iranians continue to put their armed forces and missile launching facilities in Syria with their missiles and rockets aimed at Israel then the Israelis will take out Iran big time. How would Israel do this?

Going for ‘the jugluar’

They would go for ‘the jugular’ in Iran. Their target would most likely be the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant which is a nuclear power plant in Iran 17 kilometres (11 miles) southeast of the city of Bushehr, between the fishing villages of Halileh and Bandargeh along the Persian Gulf. In November 2014 Iran and Russia signed an agreement to build two new nuclear reactors at the Bushehr site, with an option of six more at other sites later. Construction formally started on 14 March 2017.

“We will not be threatened!”

Israel most likely would take out this reactor as they did back in Syria in 2007. Not only would Israel cripple the Iranian capability to respond but also take out the missile bases in Syria. Once again we can ask the question “how is Damascus going to become “a ruinous heap?” (Isaiah 17:1) Israel would take out the Iran’s Military Base near Damascus northeast of Syria’s capital. With Russia, America and Iran on Syrian soil things might really heat up in Syria. As for Damascus and the Assad regime they may well become “toast” in the ensuing conflagration of Israel’s war with Iran? Israel has made it very clear to Iran; “We will not be threatened!”
