We Believe

The Bible

We believe that the Bible, as contained in the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament, in the original manuscripts, is the verbally inspired Word of God. We believe that the Bible is the only infallible rule for Christian faith and practice: therefore, it is the supreme and final authority for all Christian doctrine and living. We believe it is entirely complete and that nothing must be added to it or taken away from it. (Psalm 19:7-11) (Psalm 119:89,105,130) (2 Timothy 3:15-17) (2 Peter 1:19-21) (Revelation 22:18-19)

The Trinity

We believe that God is triune; that there are three eternal, co-equal, divine persons in the Godhead, and these three are one God. (Matthew 28:19) (Deuteronomy 6:4) (Psalm 139:7-10) (Isaiah 11:2) (John 1:1-4 5:16-27) (1 Corinthians 2:10-16)

God the Father

We believe in God the Father, the Eternal Creator, existing from all eternity, a perfect Spirit in whom all things have their source, support and end. He is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power, everywhere present, never changing and perfect love. He hears and answers prayer, and accepts all who come to him by faith in the blood and merits of His Eternal Son the Lord Jesus Christ. (Malachi 3:6) (Psalm 99:9) (Psalm 147:5) (Psalm 139:7-12) (Isaiah 44:24) (John 4:24)  (John 14:6-11) (Romans 3:25) (Romans 5:9) (Hebrews 10:9) 1 John 4:7-10) (Revelation 4:11)

God the Son

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God who has always existed in eternity as the third person within the Tri-Unity of the Godhead and equal in His divine attributes with God the Father and with God the Holy Spirit (John 1:1-4) (John 8:59) (Colossians 1:15-20; 2:9) (Hebrews 1:3) (Philippians 2:6-8) (1 John 1:1-2). That He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and is fully God and fully Man. (Matthew 1:18-25) (Luke 1:35) (John 1:1-2,14) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, as the representative and substitute sacrifice for the sins of the whole human race and for everyone individually and that by His physical resurrection from the dead God declared Justification for all who put their faith in Him for salvation. (Romans 3:26) (Romans 4:24-25) (Romans 5:1) (Romans 5:9) (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) (2 Corinthians 5:21) (Ephesians 1:7) (1 Peter 2:24)  We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ rose physically and ascended into Heaven where He is now exulted at the right hand of God, and there ministers before God as our perfect and faithful High Priest and Intercessor. (Acts1: 9-11) (Hebrews 1:3) (Hebrews 4:14-16) (Hebrews 7:24-28) (1 John 2:1)  We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will rescue His Church, called The Body of Christ, at the end of the Great Tribulation and then return with His triumphant Church to overthrow the kingdom of the Antichrist. At that time the Lord Jesus will judge the nations of the world and establish His Millennial kingdom. (Revelation 7:14) (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) (Ezekiel 38-39) (Joel 3) (Zechariah 12 &14) (Matthew 24:31) (Revelation 15:10) (Revelation 19:11-21) (Revelation 20:1-6)

God the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, produces the New Birth, indwells, seals, enlightens, teaches and guides the believer into all truth because He is the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the Father and the Son. He empowers and fills the believer for witnessing and Christian service and distributes His gifts according to His sovereign Will. (John 3:3) (John 14:15-17, 26) (John 15: 26) (John 16: 7-15) (Romans 8:9) (1 Corinthians 2:10-16) (1 Corinthians 6:19) (2 Corinthians 3:16-17) (Ephesians 4:30) (Ephesians 1:13-14) (Zechariah 4:6) (Matthew 3:11) (Acts 1:8) (Ephesians 5:18) (Acts 4:29-31) (1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 11)

Salvation

We believe that man is totally unable to save himself because of his sinful nature and his guilt in the original sin of Adam. All men are without excuse, being by birth and by nature rebels against God and great sinners in His sight, therefore, deserving eternal punishment. We further believe that God, who is rich in mercy and perfect in Love, sent His One and Only Eternal and Divine Son to be our Saviour; for the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, as the representative and substitutionary sacrifice for all men and that whoever believes in Him is justified and made righteous in God’s sight on the ground of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We can never be saved by personal merit, religious observances and ceremonies or by good works, or by trying to keep the Law. We can only be saved by a thorough and heartfelt repentance towards God and by faith alone in Jesus Christ. We further believe that if we are really saved then we will exhibit works that line up with the faith we profess. Our Salvation stands on the finished work of Jesus Christ and on the foundation of His shed blood that atones for the sins of the whole world. (Romans 3:9-20) (Psalm 51:5) (Romans 5:12) (Romans 4:4-5) (Romans 3:21-26) (Romans 5:9) (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) (Galatians 2:16) (Acts 20:21) (Hebrews 1:3) (James 1:22) (James 2:14-26) (Ephesians 1:7) (Exodus 12:13)

The Church

We believe that the Church is called The Body and the Bride of Jesus Christ and a royal priesthood, a kingdom of priests. It is not a denominational or physical structure or ecclesiastical body but entirely made up of all those who through a living faith in Jesus Christ have been born again and made partakers of the Kingdom of God, who love Jesus Christ and walk in obedience to His Word the Bible, who have overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. When Jesus has fully prepared and completed His bride He will catch her up to meet Him in the air at the end of the Great Tribulation. At that time the Lord Jesus will physically return with His bride to overthrow the Kingdom of the Antichrist and to judge the nations. Jesus bride will co-reign with Him on the earth for the thousand years of the Millennium. (Ephesians 1:23) (Ephesians 5:30) (Colossians 1:24) (Revelation 19:7-8) (1 Peter 2:9) (Revelation 5:10) (1 Corinthians 12:13) (1 Peter 1:23) (John 3:36) (1 Peter 1:2) (Revelation 12:11) (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) (Revelation 7:14) (Revelation 19:11-16) (Revelation 20:1-6) (2 Timothy 2:12)

Baptism

We believe that Baptism is the immersion of a true believer into water in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit; that it is done in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ following conversion and regeneration by the Holy Spirit; that Baptism symbolizes the death, burial and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ, and likewise of the believer in his regeneration experience as passing from spiritual death into spiritual life. The act of Baptism has no saving merit as an ordinance in itself. (Romans 6:1-10) (Matthew 3:13-17) (Acts 8:36-38) (Acts 2:41) (Matthew 28:19-20) (1 Peter 3:21) (Acts 9:18) (Acts 16:14-15, 33)

The Lord’s Supper

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is an observance commemorating the Lord’s death on Calvary; that the provision of the bread and the fruit of the vine are symbols of Jesus’ broken body and shed blood; that the partaking of these elements is only for truly born again believers; and that faithful self-examination should precede it’s observance; and that this ordinance has no saving merit in itself. (Matthew 26:21-30) (1 Corinthians 11:17-34)

Israel

We believe in the Biblical, Spiritual and National restoration of Israel as a nation. God promised that that Land of Israel from the River Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt would be given to them as a people as an “everlasting possession” (inheritance). This promise was given through a blood covenant made by God with Abraham the Father of faith and to his seed Isaac and Jacob and the Jewish nation for time and eternity. God told Abraham that his descendants would be through Isaac and not Ishmael (the father of the Arabs) (Genesis 13:14-18) (Genesis 15:17-21) (Genesis 17:7-8, 19, 21)

We believe that the Jewish people have a right to the land and were there long before the Arabs were there (the descendents of Ishmael). We believe that the name Israel was bestowed upon Jacob after he had wrestled with his Messiah the Pre-Existent Lord Jesus Christ. We believe Biblically that the land was never called Palestine by God, or by the prophets, or by the Lord Jesus Himself or by any of the apostles especially those who wrote the New Testament. (Genesis 31:  22-31) (Genesis 35:9-12)

We believe that the New Covenant ratified in the blood of the Messiah was made with the House of Israel and Judah and not with the Church. We believe that the Church has not replaced Israel but that Gentile believers were grafted into the vine (Israel) and have become partakers of the blessings bestowed upon Abraham the Father of all who have faith in God and in His only Begotten Son Yeshua our Risen Lord and Israel’s true Messiah. (Jeremiah 31:31-37) (Romans 11:11-24)

The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is Israel’s true and Biblical Messiah and that He will return to destroy their enemies and establish His Millennial reign over the whole world from Jerusalem. We believe that the city of Jerusalem, where God has put his name forever, will be lifted higher in prominence and power over all of the other nations that have survived the Great Tribulation. We believe that the faithful believing remnant of Israel will co-reign with the Lord Jesus Christ and the Church on earth after He has come back. In that day at the Messiah’s command the Word of God will go forth from Jerusalem into all of the nations and that the knowledge of the LORD will cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. (Joel 3) (Zechariah 12-14) (Isaiah 2:1-5) (1 Kings 9:3 14:21) (2 Chronicles 6:6) (2 Chronicles 33:7) (Isaiah 11:6-16) (Daniel 7:22) (2 Timothy 2:12) (Revelation 2:26-27) (Rev 20:6) (Revelation 22:5)
