Yesterday on the Israel Today website a headline read; “ANALYSIS: Mossad Chief Says Iran Lying About Nukes.” Part of the article read… “ Mossad director Yossi Cohen at a security conference in Herzliyah, Israel claimed that his agents found out that Iran had been plotting to carry out terror attacks in The Netherlands, Germany, Turkey and France while training 300 operatives in Syria who were supposed to export the Islamic Revolution to Africa. Cohen also revealed that Iran last year paid $100 million to the Palestinian terror groups in Gaza in order to get them upping the pressure on Israel by means of the so-called ‘Great Match of Return’, the organized violence along the Israeli border with Gaza. The Mossad has also delivered the intelligence that thwarted terror attacks against civilian planes around the world and saved the lives of Jews everywhere…
Addressing the nuclear stand-off with Iran, Cohen revealed that members of the Mossad team which stole a large part of Iran’s nuclear archive would receive awards from President Reuven Rivlin of Israel this week. Cohen claimed that the Mossad operation in Iran at the beginning of 2018 had “changed the way the world views Iran” and insisted Iran was lying about the nature of its nuclear program. Iranian claims that its uranium enrichment program was for medical purposes only are “flat-out lies” according to the Mossad head who added that “only clear determination to stop it from getting a nuclear weapon can stop it (Iran).”Cohen pointed to Iran’s determination to expand its ballistic missile program and said this was another indication the Islamic Republic has not abandoned its nuclear weapons program.”
There is no doubt that the Israeli Mossad is the most efficient intelligence agency in the world. God’s Word tells us that He has not finished with Iran. The problem is not with the Iranian people themselves by and large but with the Ayatollahs who oppress the people with their despotic rule and governance. Multitudes of Iranians are not happy with the regime. They are a repressed people. The Iranians are not even Islamic but historically Zoroastrian and not originally a Middle-Eastern people ethnically.
Now The LORD spoke through the prophet Jeremiah; “Behold, I will shatter Elam’s bow, (Missile programme and their missiles) the mainstay of their might…So I will shatter Elam (Iran) before their foes, before those who seek their lives. I will bring disaster upon them, even My fierce anger, declares the LORD. I will send out the sword after them until I finish them off. I will set My throne in Elam, and destroy its king and officials, (the Ayatollah’s) yet in the last days I will restore the fortunes of Elam (Iran) (restoring them from captivity) ” (Jeremiah 49:34, 37-39)
In that day Iran will no longer be in captivity to Satan and His Islamic henchmen. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will be gone! The missile facilities obliterated. Once the Lord Jesus has removed the fundamentalist Islamic Iranian regime the people of Iran will come to salvation in the Messiah in wholesale lots. Even now multitudes of Iranians are becoming believers in the Lord Jesus and multitudes are suffering for their faith right now. However, this is going to change when our Lord Jesus comes back. The kings and officials, namely the Islamic regime of the Ayatollahs, will be destroyed, swept away, wiped from the face of the earth! God Himself will set His throne among the Iranian people. Multitudes of our faithful brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus at present are oppressed, afflicted and persecuted in Iran. Many are being killed every day.
The apostle John writes; “I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who were to be killed even as they had been killed, would be completed also.” (Revelation 6:9-11)
Even though the martyrs cry out to be vindicated and avenged, they are comforted with the fact that they have been given the garment of salvation, namely the white Robe of Jesus’ purity and righteousness, and are assured in this that once their fellow believers who are destined for martyrdom have been killed for their faith in Jesus, that their vindication by the LORD before their enemies will come. Those now suffering for the name of Jesus in Iran will be liberated and fully and forever satisfied when the Messianic Kingdom is established in that country. The Iranian people will be spiritually and nationally restored in the Messianic Kingdom. As for the Islamic regime of the Ayatollahs as far as the LORD is concerned “the memory of the wicked will be blotted out forever!” (Proverbs 10:7) (Psalm 34:16) As they say; “Out of sight, out of mind!” While the Islamic armies of Iran are destined to perish on the mountains of Israel the people in Iran will be delivered from their captivity! God will establish His throne in Iran!
