Today within wider Christendom in the west there are multitudes of assemblies where spiritual gifts are supposedly practiced when the local assembly of the Body of Messiah gathers together for mutual edification which is the purpose for the gathering (1 Corinthians 14:26). Having said this for the most part the “action” always seems to be happening at the front while the majority of the congregation just warm the pews apart from when they stand to sing a hymn or a chorus. Whether it is services being conducted in the mainstream denominations or in the Pentecostal and Charismatic assemblies for the most part it is the same thing happening…
