King Solomon wrote; “Enemies disguise themselves with their lips, but in their hearts they harbor deceit. Though their speech is charming, do not believe them, for seven abominations fill their hearts. Their malice may be concealed by deception, but their wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.” (Proverbs 26:24-26)
The so called ‘ceasefire’ agreed to by President Erdogan it seems has already been violated. Reports from the media and from within Northern Syria itself tell a different story as shelling by the Turkish forces continues to be rained down upon the Kurds. According to a report on CNN online yesterday it stated that clashes continued on the border between Syria and Turkey according to eyewitnesses and Kurdish fighters despite the so called ‘cease of hostilities’ supposedly promised verbally by the man from Turkey. Shelling was reported on the border town of Ras al-Ain on Friday, just one of the targets of Turkey’s week-old offensive against the Kurdish fighters, who were previously backed by the United States but have now been left to fend for themselves.
The shelling has has also hit a number of civilian areas in Ras al-Ain, including a hospital. SDF Press Commander Merivan Qamishlo said; “SDF are committed to the ceasefire, but from last night until this morning we are seeing shelling on Ras al-Ain by the Turkish military and its mercenaries on SDF and civilian Kurdish targets, and in particular on the Ras al-Ain hospital in the city this morning.” He added; “”The situation inside the Ras al-Ain Hospital is catastrophic. Three ambulance vehicles belonging to the Kurdish Red Crescent were prevented from entering and were shot at. The city is completely surrounded by air and ground from the Turkish military.”
The fighting comes just a day after Pence announced that he and Erdogan had agreed to a deal to halt Turkey’s incursion into northern Syria, which was launched after President Donald Trump effectively gave Turkey the go ahead on a phone call with Erdogan earlier this month. President Erdogan called the reports of the clashes “nothing but disinformation” But the SDF said Friday that Turkey’s attacks have continued in Ras al-Ain and targeted medical workers, ambulances and medical points. The Syrian Democratic Forces Press Office said in a statement on twitter; “”Despite the agreement to halt the fighting, air and artillery attacks continue to target the positions of fighters, civilian settlements and the hospital in Serêkaniyê/Ras al-Ayn. Turkey is violating the ceasefire agreement by continuing to attack the town since last night.”
Now I really like Donald Trump and what he has been doing for the American people and for Israel. However, his decision to pull American forces out of Syria was not a wise decision in the overall scheme of things. Even though President Trump has declared to protect all religious minorities he has in effect not only the abandoned the Kurdish people, who have a right to their own homeland, but the 40-50,000 Christians in Northern Syria. While President Erdogan entertained the presence of Vice President Mike Pence and his negotiation team it seems the man from Turkey in his deep mind had no intention of even having “a pause” in his military incursion into Syria. Added to this he wants to have the whole of Syria and has a problem with Assad still being in power and of course Turkey has to consider Russia that at present supports the Syrian regime.
The reality is that the man from Turkey wants the lot and to see a Turkish Ottoman Caliphate established throughout the whole Middle-east and that will extend into Europe. This is what he is up to and he will use any means, fair of foul to achieve this ambition. Indeed Solomon spoke truly about the man who disguises his words while nurturing deception in his heart. His speech may be ‘charming’ but his heart is filed with abominations. His evil intent may be masked by his deception but his wickedness will be exposed to those within the Assembly of God’s people and those who have the capability to see through his deception. If anyone is practicing “dissimilation” it is the man from Turkey.
Watching President Trump report the successful ‘deal’ to the media left one thinking whether he was giving glory to his administration and to himself and not to God who has put him into the seat at the Whitehouse. I am sure that President Trump does have faith in the LORD and has a faithful right hand man in Vice President Mile Pence to be ‘the spiritual rudder that helps steer the ship’ but for these men to announce a successful ‘deal’ with the man from Turkey does give the impression of a certain ‘naivety’ on the part of President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence concerning the man from Turkey and his vision of a resurrected Turkish Ottoman Empire, something President Erdogan envisions will ultimately sweep the globe.
There is no doubt that 9/11 should have been ‘a wake-up call’ to America and to the Bush Administration that Islam is already at war with the west. The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda. 15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia. Because of the oil ‘deals’ going down with the Saudis President Bush held hands with the Saudi Princes. Today Iran is also a major threat to civilization and there is no doubt that the Iranian regime will back the man from Turkey in a global Jihad against the west and especially Israel and that within global Islam the man from Turkey may well turn out to be the promised Mahdi of Islam. If that is to be the case then the whole Islamic world will follow him in a final Jihad to subjugate the nations to Islam.
God will give this man three and a half years to rule but have him on a leash and during this time Israel and by inclusion and extension the faithful Church will be persecuted globally by his regime wherever it has been established. God Himself will, for the sake of His elect saints both Jewish and Gentile believers and to ensure the survival of the world, will cut those days short with a sudden swift cut and send our Lord Jesus the Messiah back to sort everything out and He will do just that! (Matthew 24:21-22) (Revelation 19:11-21) (Matthew 25:31-46)
President Trump may now impose harder economic sanctions on Turkey but in the long term it may mean a war on the ground, on the sea and in the air with Turkey and Iran and the armies of Islam. If this happens then we will see the last King of the North (Turkey) take his last ride across the pages of history but to be confronted by the last king of the South (America) and his military might. (Daniel 11:38-40) President Trump may have to go to war with the man from Turkey. What the Russians and the Chinese will do remains to be seen but if the pattern of events that occurred just prior to WWI and WWII happen again we will see all of the nations drawn into WWIII, a war no one wants except maybe the man from Turkey and his counterparts in Iran! Watching President Trump address the media using somewhat glowing terms; about his counterpart in Turkey reminds us once again of Neville Chamberlains rather triumphant declaration; “Peace in our time!” He most probably thought he had pulled of “the deal of the century” but he was sadly mistaken!
