‘Talking Turkey’
In the ABC News online dated 28.11.2017 a headline read; “Erdogan says he reached same ‘wavelength’ with trump in call.” The article went on to say “Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says a telephone conversation he held with U.S. President Donald Trump last week was the first time in a long while since Turkish and U.S. leaders were on the same “wavelength.” Addressing legislators from his ruling party on Tuesday, Erdogan also said the two leaders would continue to talk in the coming days on issues that include U.S.-backed Syrian Kurdish fighters that Turkey considers terrorists and the network of followers of U.S.-based cleric Fethullah Gulen which Ankara blames for last year’s failed coup attempt. Turkish officials said last week that Trump told Erdogan during their Nov. 24 conversation that the U.S. would end arms supplies to Syrian Kurdish fighters. Erdogan said: “For the first time in a long while, a common wavelength was reached.”
Jihad!
Turkey and Iran want to see the Syrian government of Assad topple because they want to increase their power in the Middle East and to consolidate a caliphate throughout the whole region. It would seem that President Trump is not aware of the much bigger picture. The Syrian Kurdish fighters are a thorn in the side of Erdogan and a hindrance to his megalomaniac ambitions to establish the Turkish Ottoman Caliphate. No wander he calls the Kurdish fighters ‘Terrorists.’ Erdogan will molly coddle up to the USA if it will further his ambition to see the Turkish Ottoman Caliphate established. By getting President Trump to end the USA’s supply of weapons to the Syrian Kurdish fighters Erdogan wins more ground towards the realization of his ultimate goal, the revived Turkish Ottomans Empire. Erdogan is no doubt a past master at Taqiyya (The Islamic art of lying). Iran wants to have a Shiite Crescent which includes Syria and Lebanon so that they will have a base from where they can hit Israel hard. Turkey wants to establish the Sunni Crescent which would include Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. These men want to sweep through the whole of the Middle east region with fundamentalist Islam to propagate Jihad. Their central shared agenda is the wholesale destruction of Israel as a nation. Behind the scenes Satan is still trying to destroy Israel.
‘Birds of a Feather stick together’
In the past Erdogan has made it very clear he wants to see the Turkish Ottoman Empire revived, with the restoration of the Caliphate. Of course no guesses who he sees as the Supreme Caliph of the whole Islamic world? Iran is looking for the coming Mahdi which they would recognize in a Caliph of Islam. Turkey and Iran are already trading partners with Turkey already building ships this year for Iran to the tune of $95 million. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the trade turnover between Turkey and Iran amounted to $11 billion in 2016. The two countries intend to bring the volume of trade operations up to $30 billion. There is no doubt these trading deals are cementing their military alliance. The Caliphate would bring to power the one to bring together the Shiite and the Sunni world of Islam. Erdogan has a Sufi Islamic background. Sufi Islam is the mystical branch of Islam. A Sufi Muslim, who regularly engages in trace like states, would be an ideal candidate for Satan to possess. The Antichrist will have supernatural power to sway nations. There is no doubt that Erdogan and Rouhani’s ultimate goal is to sweep through the whole middle-east to establish an Islamic Empire that would even reach into Europe. The one country that is a hindrance to this satanic ambition for global dominance is that tiny bit of God’s real estate called Israel. Both Erdogan and Rouhani have clearly stated they want to see the dissolution of Israel and Islamic control over Jerusalem and seeing the Temple Mount flooded with Muslims.
Casting off the Works of Darkness
The stage is being set to fulfil Biblical prophecy which will see an invasion of Israel in the last days by Turkey, Iran and by many other Muslim nations surrounding Israel. (Ezekiel 38:1-6) Once this happens for three and a half years all hell will break loose in Israel and throughout the world. As yet there are many Jewish people who have yet to return to Israel as foretold by the Hebrew prophets in the Bible. Through applied pressure from Anti-Semitism in the western democracies including Germany, Russia, other European countries, the UK and even in America, the Jews will be forced back to Israel. God has a pre-ordained appointment for them with their Messiah our Lord Jesus. (Zechariah 12:10-14) The end of this age is rapidly approaching but the end is not yet. In the light of what is to come and in the light of the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ may we all take to heart the words of the apostle Paul when he wrote; “that the hour has come for us to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armour of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarrelling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus the Messiah, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.” (Romans 13:13-14)
Spiritual Sobriety
The Day of the LORD is at hand and closer than we think. As Paul also writes; “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labour pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus the Messiah.” (1 Thessalonians 5:2-9)
God still has everything under control!
Whether it is Turkey or Iran or North Korea for that matter, that may well kick start WWIII, when we see the rapid increase of ‘the birth pangs’ of wars, famines, earthquakes, disease, spiritual deception and persecution increase and intensify we need to keep our focus on ‘the birth of the baby, namely the birth of the visible Kingdom of God on earth rather than on the ‘contractions.’ Once the Kingdom of God is here the ‘contractions’ will quickly be forgotten in the joy of ’the birth.’ As Luke writes; “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:25-28) As the late David Wilkerson used to say; “God still has everything under control!”
