A Global caliphate
It was President Erdogan of Turkey who publically stated some years ago; “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers.” President Erdogan of Turkey has been globetrotting ‘behind the scenes’ and undoubtedly has been in earnest in getting as many Muslim nations on board with Turkey’s interests as he can, which if he has his way, will see the establishment of a revived Turkish Ottoman Caliphate with Sharia Law and the establishment of the Muslim Brotherhood ideology on a global scale if he can pull it off. What most do not see is or have failed to see is that he has been globetrotting now for years making his presence known on the international stage of politics. Between 2003 and 2014 Erdogan of Turkey has made 300 visits to both Muslim and western nations. He has made 86 foreign visits since August 2014 when he came to the country’s top seat, with Saudi Arabia being his top destination, according to information gathered by the state-run Anadolu Agency.
A Jetsetting Globetrotter
Erdogan of Turkey went to Saudi Arabia five times, as he also visited Qatar and Kuwait in the Middle East three times each. He has also been in Bahrain and Jordan as the president of Turkey. He went to Russia four times amid a turbulence in relations after the downing of a Russian jet in on Turkish soil October 2015, before the ties normalized starting from the summer of 2016. Europe topped Erdogan’s list of visited continents as he went to 16 European countries 21 times in total between August 28, 2014 and August 10 2017. He visited Turkey’s historic allies Turkish Cyprus, Azerbaijan and Pakistan, three times each. He also visited China, France and Belgium three times. Erdogan also visited the U.S. Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Japan, India, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Ecuador. He went to 15 African countries. Erdogan’s travel schedule inside the country was also busy as he visited 65 Turkish provinces out of 81 for 147 times in total.
The Asian South Pacific
He is dialoguing with Malaysia yet again. This month December 2017 Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak was one of the first South-east Asian leaders contacted by Turkish president Erdogan over the issue of US recognising Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. No doubt Erdogan is seeking to expand his hidden agenda for a global caliphate based on Sharia Law and the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood into the Asian pacific Region if the truth be known. He is not satisfied with spreading fundamentalist Islam throughout the Middle-East and into Europe and even into America if he can, but wants to see Islam spread into the South Pacific region which includes Australia. Malaysia and Indonesia, both Islamic countries, lie just north of Australia.
A King of fierce countenance
When you look at all of the countries he has visited and all of the leaders he has met in these countries it reminds us of what the prophet Daniel tells us about the antichrist who will come in the character of Antiochus Epiphanies; (My comments are in brackets) “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full (sin and apostasy has reached its full measure), a king of fierce countenance (brutal and ruthless), and understanding dark sentences, (a practitioner of the occult) shall stand up (a prominent figure among world leaders). And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power (but by Satan’s power): and he shall destroy wonderfully, (widely) and shall prosper (economically), and practise his craft (Satanically inspired policies), and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people (persecute the saints). And through his policy also he shall cause craft (taqiyya-the Islamic art of lying) to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart (proclaiming himself to be God incarnate), and by peace (deception and stealth) shall destroy many (multitudes in many nations): he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes (the Lord Jesus Himself); but he shall be broken without hand (supernaturally destroyed by God’s power). And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days. (the distant future)” (Daniel 8:23-26) When you consider Erdogan of Turkey’s demeanour, rhetoric and tirade against Israel and his obvious distain of Jews and Christians and his desire to control Jerusalem and especially the Temple Mount you cannot get away with the description of the Antichrist that Daniel reveals by the Holy Spirit.
What about America?
At present most western nations are looking to America and no doubt the LORD is using America to check the spread of Islam with President Trump at the helm. Even now according to one media report at least 10 other countries want to put their embassies in Jerusalem so there are other nations it seems are backing Donald Trump’s decision and Israel’s interests. North Korea may be a ‘wild card.’ If America gets into a war with that nation then America will have to withdraw its forces from other countries leaving the way open for the Islamic global Jihad because they no longer have to contend with America. Israel, along with other western democracies, will be vulnerable to attack. As for Mainland China they will be the exception as they will not tolerate Islam.
What about Australia?
Australia, the so called ‘lucky country’ is an isolated nation and will not be so ‘lucky’ much longer seeing our government is leading the people of this nation down the road of Euthanasia, same-sex marriage and possibly as a government no longer supporting Israel, not to mention the vilification laws that work against the preaching of the gospel. There was a very short video clip of Parliament just after the safe-sex marriage act was approved and I am sure I saw Prime Minister Turnbull waving his arms around with glee and shouting something like “This is a victory for love!” and loud applause on the floor of Parliament. It was very short clip but I am sure this is what I saw. At the UN vote to Veto President Trump’s decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem and to ratify Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Australia was one of the nations that abstained from voting. What does that say about Australia’s government? What does this say about the government supporting and recognizing Israel as a sovereign nation with its own capital? The recent Plebiscite in Australia concerning same-sex marriage also showed the spiritual ignorance and moral bankruptcy of this nation with 64.9% voting yes. What if Indonesia has a regime change and a fundamentalist government dedicated to spreading Islam into the South pacific region comes to power?
“A Boiling Pot from the North”
Will Australia be spared the judgement of God? Will Australia be invaded by Indonesia? Will Islamic Sharia law reign in Australia? Will America be able to come to the aid of Australia? In 2015 Erdogan visited Indonesia solidifying economic ties with that nation. Around 62% of the world’s Muslims live in the Asia-Pacific region (from Turkey to Indonesia), with over 1 billion adherents. The largest Muslim population in a country is in Indonesia, a nation home to 12.7% of the world’s Muslims, followed by Pakistan (11.0%), and India (10.9%). Will Indonesia become for Australia “a boiling pot from the North” (Jeremiah 1:13)
The city where Satan live and has his throne
Why would President Erdogan be a globe trotter? It is an eye-opener to see what Erdogan of Turkey had been up to since 2003 on the stage of world politics. It seems he is on a world-wide political campaign for radical Islam. When reading how Daniel describes the character of the Antichrist if it applies to anyone today it would apply to President Erdogan of Turkey. We also need to keep in mind what John the Apostle wrote concerning the city of Pergamum located in modern day Turkey that it was “the city where Satan has his throne and where Satan lives; “(Revelation 2:13)
When will the clock strike midnight?
This question remains, why did John write to seven churches in modern day Turkey? The seven literal churches in Turkey can also apply prophetically to the Church as a whole in every age. Is the Holy Spirit telling us that the Antichrist and his persecution of the saints in the last days will come from Turkey? Once again as with all of these matters time will tell if these things will happen but the countdown to Armageddon is well under way and the clock is ticking and is not far from striking midnight. How long midnight is away remains to be seen? However, there are still certain things that must take place before our Lord Jesus comes back; in fact they have already started to happen. When the clock does strike midnight everything will change!
What kind of people should we be?
In the light of what is happening and what is to come we must walk with God, walk with the Lord Jesus, walk with the Holy Spirit, believe and obey the Word of God and have a love for the truth and taking to heart what the apostle Peter writes; “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be dissolved in the fire, and the earth and its works will not be found. Since everything will be dissolved in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct yourselves in holiness and godliness as you anticipate and hasten the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be dissolved by fire and the elements will melt in the heat.” (2 Peter 3:10-12)
