As of September 22, 2025, 157 of the 193 UN member states, which is about 81% of the international community, recognize so called ‘Palestine’ as a sovereign state, with many countries, including the UK, Canada, Australia, and Portugal, formally supporting its establishment. This ‘recognition,’ as they are calling it, reflects the growing international consensus in favour of a ‘Palestinian’ state.
The following countries have formerly recognized the state of ‘Palestine’ which, by the way, is not a country at all and never has been! These countries are Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Portugal, France, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Andorra, Belgium and San Marino.
More than 100 diplomats staged a dramatic walkout during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, 26 September, in one of the largest coordinated protests seen at the UN in years. According to The Washington Post, over 100 diplomats from more than 50 countries were involved. Reuters described ‘scores’ leaving in unison as Netanyahu stepped up to the podium. Rows of empty seats quickly underscored the scale of the dissent.
The irony of this whole scenario is that if any of these countries were attacked on their home soil as Israel was on October7, 2023, there would have been an instant retaliation and I would add not even civilians would be considered. Hamas actually started the war with Israel!!!
What country, if attacked on their soil in the same manner Israel was attacked on October 7, 2023, would not immediately retaliate to defend itself and its citizens not caring about the collateral damage of the enemy which would inevitably see civilians killed?
The Gazan people are tragic pawns of Hamas, which has prioritized terror against Israel over the wellbeing of its own people. Using civilians as human shields, Hamas stores missiles and military equipment in schools and hospitals, putting the lives of Palestinian civilians in danger when Israel must bomb military installations.
Israel has a policy of warning civilians before attacking, making phone calls to residents and dropping lead on buildings to warn of impending missile strikes. In this conflict, Israel has warned Gazans to evacuate ahead of air strikes. What other sovereign nation would take such measures as Israel does to protect the lives of civilians as they have done in Gaza?
While Israel does its best to avoid civilian casualties through warnings before bombing military installations, Hamas uses its own citizens as human shields, which increases the death toll in Gaza exponentially. Unfortunately, Hamas’ lack of humanity results in the tragic death of innocent civilians, although when the October attack had occurred multitudes of Gazan citizens actually celebrated the butchery of innocent Israel citizens including babies, children, women, and the elderly. It should also be noted that when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 multitudes of Gazan civilians also joined in the butchery.
Clearly the UN for the most has chosen to deliberately ignore the humanitarian perspective Israel has clearly shown towards Gazan civilians even as Israel fights against Hamas. Let’s be very clear about this; Nothing justifies the unprovoked murder and kidnapping of innocent civilians, babies, children, young people, elderly and disabled individuals that have been killed, injured, or kidnapped by Hamas.
What happened in Israel was a pogrom. The slaughter of innocent Israelis and the documentation by Hamas of these crimes against humanity must be denounced unequivocally.
Any attempt to rationalize or justify Hamas’ terrorist actions is utterly abhorrent. There can be no moral equivalency drawn between the horror of Hamas’ attack on Israel beginning October 7th, 2023 and Israel’s legitimate defence of its citizens from Hamas tyranny. However, Israel has not ignored the need for humanitarian aid to the citizens of Gaza.
By air, land, and sea, more than 1.3 million tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to Palestinian civilians mostly by Israel, but with help from its allies, since the Hamas terror attack on Israel that killed over 1,200 people and saw 253 others taken hostage.
Images have been captured of Hamas violently overtaking trucks carrying aid, taking goods to the group’s own storage facilities and selling them overpriced to certain vendors with whom they choose to do business. This practice has made Hamas millions of dollars. Meanwhile, Israel assesses a stable food supply in the southern Gaza Strip, where markets are evidently bustling and stocks are piling up in aid agencies’ warehouses.
On October 18, 2023, 11 days after Hamas’ murderous terror attack, Israel agreed to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza from Egypt to mitigate a major humanitarian crisis and save innocent Arab lives. Israel also restarted the water supply to southern Gaza to encourage life-saving evacuations southward. Much more could be said as to how the Israelis favourably treated the Arab citizens of Gaza before the October 7, 2023 massacre.
During 2025 what has the UN done in relation to over 150,000 estimated deaths in Sudan in the genocidal war in that country with 12 million displaced? What has the UN done about the 25,000 deaths in Rohingya and the 43, 000 deaths in Myanmar with 12 million displaced? What about the ethnic and religious violence by Boko Haram and Fulani militants that has seen 62,000 Christians massacred with millions displaced in Nigeria? These atrocities perpetrated by Islam are no different than the ones perpetrated by Hamas! These atrocities are hardly mentioned by and large in the mainstream media.
No all the UN can do is bash Israel and call for one sanction after another against the Jewish state and despise Prime Minister Netanyahu for defending Israel and telling the delegated at the UN the truth about Islamic Jihadist tyranny, a tyranny not only being perpetrated against the Jewish people but has a global perspective being the conquest of the western democracies for Islam.
In fact the Prime Minister of Israel is the only man standing in the gap between the coming holocausts by Islam against the west. The two people groups they want to eliminate are the Jews and the Christians. The Islamic Jihadist mindset is to say, “We kill Jews on Saturdays and kill Christians on Sundays!”
Only Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knows the true character of Islam! As he said some years ago; “If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.’” He has expressed strong views regarding the threat of radical Islamic terrorism. He has warned that groups like Hamas pose a significant danger not only to Israel but also to Western nations.
His statements often emphasize the need for vigilance against these threats, suggesting that the ideology behind such groups would extend beyond the Middle East. Already we see Islam through migration infiltrating European cities and the Jihadist mindset being exercised in countries such as Germany, France, Great Britain and Canada and spreading across Europe.
This Jihad is not going to stop in these countries but is coming to those nations in the UN this month that have endorsed and called for a Palestinian State and for the two-state solution from Hell which in reality is affirming Hamas. Do the leaders of Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Portugal, France, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Andorra, Belgium and San Marino realise that just telling Hamas to lay down their arms is a joke to the terrorist organization.
How will it be enforced? No one in the UN has come up with a practical solution. Who apart from the Israelis will actually disarm Hamas? Will the United States support Israel in this endeavour?
These countries mentioned here have chosen not to support Israel and will come under the judgement of God for their diabolical treatment of Israel! God is going to severely judge the armies of the nations whose leaders have sought to divide up His real-state and afflict His people Israel. When this happens and it will, the LORD will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem ; the earth and the sky will tremble but the LORD will be a refuge for His people and a stronghold for the people of Israel (Joel 3:1-3;12-16).
At the UN assembly earlier this month when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried to bring the truth and stark reality of the global threat of the Islamic Jihadist mindset to Europe and the other western nations, the delegates of these nations turned up their noses at him and walked out of the UN assembly not wanting to hear the real truth!
Right now there is a spiritual war going on the unseen spiritual realm in the atmosphere just above the surface of the air between God and Satan. Israel is the nation that the war is being fought over. It is a war of course that Satan cannot win and has already lost. However, Satan wants to destroy Israel as a nation because he knows that God’s end-time purposes for Israel are centred in the existence of Israel, “the apple of His Eye” (Zechariah 2:8), and because He remembers His covenants!
As it is written; “He remembers His covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath He swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: “To you I will give the land of Canaan (Israel today) as the portion you will inherit” (Psalm 105:8-11).
The Messiah our Lord Jesus is the King of the Jews and destined to sit on David’s throne at Jerusalem to receive the worship of all the nations that have survived His Second Coming (Luke 1:32). Satan in his warped and deluded mindset thinks that by destroying Israel he can thwart God’s prophetic purposes for Israel, but he knows in his deep mind that he is already a defeated foe!
Satan hates the Jewish people because it was Jew nailed to a cross that took away his authority to keep men and women enslaved to sin and hell when they repent and believe in the Lord Jesus to save them. Salvation is of the Jews! (Colossians 1:13; 2:15) (John 4:22).
The UN and the EU are all ganging up on Israel and behind this militant agenda lays the evil one who has these nations in his grip that will inevitably come into God’s judgement for the way they have treated and shown distain for His people Israel (Psalm 83).
Indeed it is written; “Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed (the Messiah our Lord Jesus), saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens laughs; the LORD holds them in derision. Then He will speak to them in His wrath, and terrify them in His fury, saying, “As for Me, I have set My King on Zion, My holy hill (Psalm 2:1-6).”
