In Wednesday’s edition of Israel unwired a headline read; “Biden Makes Friends with the “Palestinians” Before He Visits Israel.” The report went on to say; “The Biden Administration has decided that the broken policies of the Oslo era are once again relevant. But of course, just like anything else in the Biden administration policies of yesteryear that have proven to have not worked are suddenly revived. President Joe Biden appears ready to come to Israel and while the rumours are swirling about where he will go, what is clear to all is that he is making overtures to the resident terrorist turned politician – Mahmoud Abbas.
Biden’s administration like Obama’s appears focused on propping up Mahmoud Abbas’s clan as the ruling group in the Palestinian Authority. Unfortunately for Biden and what Israel already knows is that Abbas is no more than a two bit Arab mafia member who has practiced the art of acting for Western liberal audiences. The Obama-Biden policy of appeasement to terrorists does nothing to bring peace, but rather prolongs the conflict. At the very least, Biden’s visit will bring embarrassment to the US and at the worst bring ruin to Israel.”
Once again we see the two-state solution from hell being resurrected after being vetoed by Donald Trump when he was in office. With Obama pulling Biden’s strings it is little wonder that we see the Biden puppet president making favourable overtones with the Palestinian Terrorist leader Mahmoud Abbas. Biden supposedly has stated that America is Israel’s ally but when he takes his trip to the Middle-East to visit Israel his first port of call is the ‘Palestinian’ President. Clearly Biden is no friend of Israel. Biden has been pushing to have the 2015 Nuclear Deal brokered by Obama, re-negotiated and re-established with the Iranian terrorist regime that has clearly indicated its militant malevolent intent to destroy America along with Israel.
Now Biden is doing his ‘thing’ visiting the Middle-East. Clearly he favours the so called ‘Palestinian’ cause. Not only America but also the European Union, the United Nations and even the moderate Arab States on the Saudi Arabian peninsula and Egypt as well all favour the two-state solution. Having said this Abbas and Co wants the lot! They are not content with having only part of Jerusalem. When you consider the public statements regarding Jerusalem for the Arabs by Turkey and Iran and the whole Arab world for that matter, it is an affront to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
God Himself gave the whole land of Israel to the Jewish people from the River Euphrates all the way down to the Wadi of Egypt including Gaza, Lebanon, part of Syria and the West Bank and the Golan Heights and sealed it in a blood covenant with Abraham that included Isaac and Jacob and their descendants but not with the descents of Ishmael and Esau the fathers of the Arab nations (Genesis 15:17-21; 17:19-22). The whole idea of a two-state solution and the dividing up of Jerusalem and the Land of Israel is being propagated by Satan who wants to see Israel destroyed as a sovereign nation because Satan knows that Israel’s survival will be the means for the return of the Messiah our Lord Jesus to establish His Messianic Davidic Kingdom on earth and reign from Jerusalem to which the scriptures testify!
God Himself is going to use the nations to bring Israel as a nation back to Himself and we know from the Word of God that Israel’s’ darkest hour is yet to come and one that will surpass the holocaust. However, Israel will not be wiped off the map neither will Jerusalem be uprooted as the eternal and Biblical capital of Israel. In these last days those who seek to remove Jerusalem from its status as the capital of Israel are going to pay a very heavy price (Zechariah 12:2-3). God will be using the nations that come against Israel, to bring His people back to the Messiah, but once He has used these nations for His purposes He will get rid of them and their leaders.
Where are the Assyrians today? Where are the Babylonians today? Where are the Romans today? All empires that have attacked Israel and desecrated Jerusalem and has seen two temples destroyed by the Babylonians in 586BC and then by the Romans in 70AD. Today the modern ‘Babylonians’ is the growing empire of Islam but after it has served God’s purposes for Israel Islam itself will be completely annihilated by the rider on the White Horse accompanied by the armies of heaven when He returns (Isaiah 63: 1-6) (Revelation 19:11-21).
In 1948 a nation was reborn in a day and Israel came forth as one born from the darkness of the womb. It was reborn in adversity. As Isaiah the prophet writes; “Before she travailed, she brought forth; Before her pain came, she gave birth to a boy. “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons. “Shall I bring to the point of birth and not give delivery?” says the Lord. “Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” says your God” (Isaiah 66:7-9).
Even though Israel has been a nation now for over 2,000 years with its original language and culture still intact the nation is spiritually alienated from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and from the Messiah. Today Israel’s leaders are seeking alliances with nations in the Egypt of this world and not seeking to align themselves with the God of their forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. By and large the people of Israel are violating Torah Law, living hedonistic lifestyles the same as the pagan world, following humanistic philosophies, committing idolatry by chasing after the ‘god’s’ of this world with their pleasures, their pursuits and ungodly ambitions and living without any fear of God.
You have homosexual and lesbian lifestyles being celebrated in Telavi and the blood of innocents being shed on the pagan altars of abortion clinics. Then you have the religious sects seeking to please God by a works based righteousness that is contrary to the Judaism of Torah and Moses as commanded by God. Many of these religious leaders in Israel today are actually persecuting Messianic believers in the Lord Jesus. Rabbinic Judaism today is to Israel what Roman Catholicism is to Christendom. Both religions are not Biblical and are in fact a mixture of truth and error that have been laid side by side.
Any attempt to rebuild a temple in Jerusalem to re-establish the sacrificial system will be an abomination before God because the Messiah our Lord Jesus the Passover Lamb and our scapegoat has been sacrificed once and for all time and the curtain of the temple torn from top to bottom. The way now lies open for men, women and boys and girls of every nation to come into the very throne room of God by the new and living way opened by the blood of the Messiah for all who repent and believe (Hebrews 10:19-20).
While there are Messianic believers right now in Israel who have come to faith in the Messiah our Lord Jesus and are working hard to win their Jewish brothers and sisters to put their faith in Him alone for salvation, the majority of Israelis including the religious sects are vehemently opposed to the Messiah our Lord Jesus and to those who follow Him unashamedly and with great courage despite the opposition they face every day in Jerusalem and in Israel.
Now in the prophet Joel we are told that the time will come when the nations will have attacked and ransacked Jerusalem and surrounded the city with its armies. It is at this point that God will restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem that He has previously judged for their unfaithfulness to Him. (Joel 3:1). God is going to bring the armies of all the nations against Jerusalem and draw them into the valley of Decision where He will enter into judgement with them concerning their abuse and usurping of the inheritance that He has given His people Israel as their God (Joel 3:2a, 14).
There are three reasons why God will destroy these armies and those who lead them. Firstly, because The Jewish people by and large will have been exiled and scattered among the nations through a final exile that is still to come that will see half of the inhabitants of Jerusalem exiled into the Islamic nations (Zechariah 14:1-2). Secondly, because the leaders of the nations had divided up the land of Israel as we see already starting to happen with the two-state solution from hell! (Joel 3:2b). Thirdly; because these nations and their leaders will have treated the Jewish people with contempt and cast lots for them, treating them worse than cattle to be sold or auctioned off to the highest bidder for the sake of their sensual pleasures. What these nations will do to the Jewish people will eclipse what the Nazis did to the Jewish people in the holocaust.
These things will occur because of Israel’s violation of Torah and the Mosaic covenant which has attached to it blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience (Deuteronomy Chapter 28). The curses are more in number than the blessings because sin and rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft or rebellion which God must judge in His holiness and righteousness or He would not be God! (1 Samuel 15:23). In all of these afflictions God will bring a remnant of Jewish people back to Himself and to faith in the Messiah and who are destined to co-reign with Him after He has returned and destroyed all opposition.
This remnant will pass through the purifying fire of the Lord and come through it into their glorious inheritance in the Messiah our Lord Jesus and co-rule with Him in His Messianic Kingdom on earth (Zechariah 13:8-9) (Jeremiah 30:1-10) (Malachi 3:3). Many who have been exiled among the nations will also return home to Israel at this time (Jeremiah 30:10-24) (Jeremiah Chapter 31). In the Old Testament you have numerous passages of scripture referring to the final return of the Jewish exiles to Israel after the Messiah has returned to Jerusalem.
And so we see God speaking in Joel “Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat for there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side (Joel 3:12). The armies of these nations will be harvested as grapes and thrown alive into the winepress of God’s wrath because of their great wickedness (Joel 3:13). This is the same “bloody” harvest that will happen when the Lord Jesus returns in great power and glory to judge all the nations. See also (Isaiah 63:2-3) (Revelation 14:17-20) (Revelation 19:15). In all 4 passages of scripture the winepress of God’s wrath is mentioned and are speaking about the one and the same event, namely, the Second Coming of the Messiah to judge the world!
The armies of Islam and other nations that have joined them in their assault on Jerusalem will all go down into the pit to hell in wholesale lots! (Ezekiel 32:18-32). The armies of the nations that go down into the pit are all specifically named in Ezekiel Chapter 32 and they are all Islamic nations today. The prophet Joel also tells us that for these armies, and by inference their leaders, will all be thrust into the valley of decision where God will enter into judgement with them there (Joel 3:14).
The constellations will be effected as the Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem causing the earth and the sky to shudder and tremble, but for His people the Messiah will be a refuge and a stronghold or fortress for Israel! (Joel 3:15-16). It is at this time when the constellations have been shaken at the end of the Time of Great Tribulation that immediately after those days of tribulation when the last trumpet sounds, the rapture and resurrection of all believers will occur (Matthew 24:29-31) (Mark 13:24-27) (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) (1 Corinthians 15:52-53) (Revelation 11:15). Let Biden do his tap-dance with Abbas but the stark reality is that these two men and those who do their bidding will most certainly descend into the fiery pit from which there will be no reprieve!
