Did you know that the creed of the Muslim Brotherhood is as follows “Allah is our goal, the Prophet is the model, the Quran its constitution, jihad its path, and death for the sake of Allah its most sublime belief.”
As we see President Trump’s procedure with the second phase of his Gaza peace plan to establish the Gaza Executive Board that he has included Turkey and Qatar which Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government have vehemently opposed. The Gaza Executive Board includes Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Qatari official Ali al-Thawadi.
Because of this inclusion the Israeli cabinet voted not to open the Rafah Border Crossing between Gaza and Egypt last Sunday amid clear frustration with the U.S. government over the inclusion of Turkey and Qatar.
It seems that only the Israeli government know the real motive behind these two Islamic countries wanting to be included. Having these two countries involved would see an Islamic Trojan Horse established in Gaza and a rallying point as it were for Jihad minded Arabs already living in Israel to be motivated to continue their militancy against Jews, especially in Judea and Samaria the Biblical heartland of Israel.
The U.S. have reportedly asked Israel to reopen the Rafah Crossing as part of the move to the second phase of the Gaza peace plan, which Israel has been resisting due to Hamas’ failure to return the remains of hostage Ran Gvili. The inclusion of Turkey and Qatar on the Gaza Executive Board was not part of the original understanding between Israel and the United States Government.
This past Monday during his remarks in the Knesset plenum, Prime Minister Netanyahu said that “Turkish soldiers and Qatari soldiers will not be in the Strip.” This statement appeared to be his way and that of his administration to recover from his previous promises that he would not allow either country to gain a foothold in Gaza.
He went on to repeat his promise that Hamas would be disarmed, saying, “We are on the verge of Phase two, which means one simple thing: Hamas will be disarmed and Gaza will be demilitarized, either the easy way or the hard way.” He also acknowledged the disagreement with the U.S. over the Gaza Executive Board, noting, “We have a certain argument with our friends in the US on the makeup of the council of advisers that will accompany the processes in Gaza.”
It is interesting to note that the committee of technocrats chosen by President Trump to manage daily affairs in Gaza was largely composed of Palestinian Authority figures, despite the coalition’s insistence that the P.A. would not be involved in managing Gaza. According to an online report the Israeli security officials are concerned that the inclusion of Turkey and Qatar in the oversight of Gaza is dangerous and could lead to the rehabilitation of Hamas.
Also according to reports in the Hebrew media it said that the IDF is currently drawing up plans for a renewal of military operations in Gaza, believing that the current peace process could collapse over the failure to disarm Hamas.
While the Trump administration have clearly enunciated their support for Israel’s security it would seem that President Trump is not aware of the clear and present danger to Israel of having “two wolves in the sheep pen” or rather he has chosen not to acknowledge this very real threat to Israel because of his seeming tendency to stroke his own ego over his own accomplishments in the Middle-East and mediating in other situations outside of Israel. It is common knowledge that both Turkey and Qatar are ardent supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and of Hamas.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been an outspoken vocal supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood. The country has provided political and financial backing to Brotherhood-affiliated groups including Hamas, especially during the Arab Spring, a series of pro-democracy anti-government protests, uprisings, and armed rebellions that spread across much of the Arab world in the early 2010’s.
Turkey’s involvement included in the Arab Spring supported Mohammed Morsi’s government in Egypt before the administration of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi came to power whose government deposed the Muslim Brotherhood organizations in Egypt.
Back in 2015 President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said; “The Minarets are the bayonets, the Mosques are our barracks; the believers are the soldiers!” a corresponding statement aligned with the creed of the Muslim Brotherhood.
As for Qatar it has a long history of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, viewing it as a strategic asset to enhance its regional influence. The country provided significant financial aid to the Brotherhood during its time in power in Egypt, including loans and investments.
Qatar has also hosted key figures from the Brotherhood and supported its media presence through Al Jazeera’s Media Network which is a Qatari private-media conglomerate headquartered in Wadi Al Sail, Doha, primarily funded by the government of Qatar.
If President Trump really supported Israel how could he initiate and approve such an inclusion of Turkey and Qatar being ardent ‘fans’ as it were and advocates of the Muslim Brotherhood with its ideology of a Caliphate of global proportions? How could he invite any member of the Palestinian Authority for that matter to sit on the Gaza Executive Board?
Today Turkey is backing the Syrian regime of Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, also known as Ahmed al-Sharaa, the self-appointed President of Syria whose forces are seeking to control Syria. Al-Jolani is controlled by Erdogan, whose ambition is to have Turkish boots on the ground controlling Syria to give him access to Israel.
Added to this, the Turkish President wants to see the resurrection of the Ottoman Empire of his Turkish forebears with its capital at Jerusalem with a caliphate of global proportions, an ambition in line with the creed and ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The man from Turkey needs to eliminate the Kurds and the Druze communities living in Syria because they support Israel. The Druze communities are the decedents of Jethro Moses father in law and Israel sees them as their brothers, and Israel will defend them if necessary against any who seek to destroy them.
Israel has the IDF controlling and patrolling the Golan Heights keeping their eye on Turkey and the military forces under al-Jolani and the terrorist groups also operating in Syria.
It is time for President Benjamin Netanyahu to re-evaluate Israel’s relationship with the United States and to seek to lead the nation to look only to the Triune God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and not to “the Egypt” of this world.
God Himself has said; “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD” (Isaiah 31:1).
As for President Trump it may well be that his ego is being stroked by Islamic politicians being past masters in applying the art of Taqiyya. Qatar donated a luxury Boeing 747-8 jet to President Trump, which was expected to be used as Air Force One by the American President, intended to serve as the official aircraft for the president.
Undoubtedly this act would have stroked the ego of the American President big time! If he really acknowledged the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood then he would in no way invite Turkey and Qatar to be members of the Gaza Executive Board! If he really knows the threat of the Palestinian Authority to the safety and security of Israelis then he would not have any of its members sitting on any supervisory board concerning Gaza.
However, it would seem by certain statements President Trump makes in his press conferences these days that he likes to take the credit for his own achievements in the political global arena. In the end will Israel become a thorn in his side? Not saying this will happen, hopefully it will not be the case where Israel is concerned.
However in light of scripture as we see the nations turning against Israel as Islamic migration saturates the western democracies and western political leaders are increasingly turning against Israel, it seems to be opening the way for the Islamic armies and those of non-Islamic armies supporting them to invade Israel (Ezekiel 38:1-6).
When it looks like Israel as a nation will be annihilated as the armies of the nations advance down the Valley of Jehoshaphat, (the valley where God judges) the Kidron Valley, to eliminate the Jews from Israel, that the Messiah our Lord Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives and the remaining Jews living in Jerusalem will see Him whom they pierced with their sins and be saved (Zechariah 12:10-13:1; 14:1-5). The partial hardness of their hearts will be completely removed and in that day all Israel will be saved! (Romans 11:25-27).
Then the Messiah our Lord Jesus will destroy those armies that have dared to destroy the Apple of His Eye the Jewish people and the city of Jerusalem where He has put His name forever (2 Kings 21:7b) and the city He loves! (Joel 3:1-3, 12-16).
In the Book of Revelation we are told that the armies of the nations that attack Israel will be drowned in their own blood flowing outside of the walls of the city of Jerusalem for around 180 miles with a river of blood as high as a horses bridle (Revelation 14:17-20). It does not pay to mess with Israel!
As our Triune God says through the prophet Obadiah…
“The day of the LORD is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head. Just as you drank on my holy hill, so all the nations will drink continually; they will drink and drink and be as if they had never been. But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his possession. Jacob will be a fire and Joseph a flame; Esau will be stubble, and they will set him on fire and destroy him. There will be no survivors from Esau (Islam).” The LORD has spoken” (Obadiah 1:15-18).
As the prophet Isaiah proclaims…
“Like birds hovering overhead, so the LORD of Hosts will protect Jerusalem. He will shield it and deliver it; He will pass over it and preserve it” (Isaiah 31:5).
In the end President Donald Trump cannot save Israel or make Israel great again. Only God can do this! President Trump’s “wheeling and dealing” with the Islamic world may bring a division in America’s relationship with Israel and only time will tell.
Will Prime Minister Netanyahu look only to the God of Israel at this time? Will he realise that President Trump cannot make Israel great again, and that Israel cannot make itself great, but that only the Triune God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob can achieve this? A feat God will accomplish in the Messianic Kingdom (Isaiah 2:1-5) (Micah 4:1-5).
It is going to take the Time of Jacob’s Trouble to bring Israel to rely totally upon the LORD to deliver them through the Messiah as He delivered their ancestors through Moses from the Egyptian army hell bent on their demise as a nation when Israel’s back was to the Red Sea!
Israel will go into the time of Jacob’s Trouble but be saved out of it by the Messiah’s return. Jacob (Israel) will again have peace and security, the Messiah king will reign over them and no one will make them afraid ever again! (Jeremiah 30:1-10).
When the remnant of Israel has been saved by faith in the Messiah and the redemption that comes through His atoning and cleansing blood resulting in their reconciliation with Him, and bring about their deliverance from all of their enemies, the people of Israel will once again sing the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb! (Exodus 15:1-21) (Revelation 15:2-4).
