“But woe to the earth and the sea; with great fury the devil has come down to you, knowing he has only a short time” (Revelation 12:12b)
In the online publication of IsraBite News three days ago it was reported that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett sent a sharp message to the international community to be tough on Iran as nuclear negotiations resumed in Vienna. Iran’s goal is for the US to lift sanctions while the Islamic Republic does almost nothing in return, the prime minister said. “Iran won’t just keep its nuclear program: From today, they’ll be getting paid for it,” he warned. The Israeli premier’s statement comes as it was reported that the Jewish state has been sharing intelligence with the United States showing that Iran is “taking technical steps to prepare to enrich uranium” to weapons-grade 90 percent purity. The preparations could enable Tehran to reach weapons-grade level within just a few weeks.
World powers and Iran reconvened after a nearly six-month break, to negotiate Tehran’s compliance with and Washington’s return to the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal (JCPOA). The American and Iranian teams were situated in separate rooms because the Islamic Republic’s representatives refused to negotiate directly with Washington. The talks ended after about four hours with an agreement to start with a discussion on lifting sanctions “and then other issues,” as Iran’s lead negotiator and Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani put it, avoiding explicitly mentioning negotiations to limit Iran’s nuclear program. “There is a sense of urgency of putting the JCPOA back in place,” said European Union negotiator and political director Enrique Mora.
Israel opposes the JCPOA because it insufficiently limited Iran’s uranium enrichment – and in fact, legitimizes further enrichment after the agreement expires, which paves the way for an eventual nuclear bomb. In addition, the deal did not address Iran’s other malign actions in the region. Bennett also pointed to a remark by Iran Armed Force spokesman Brig.-Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi earlier this week as characteristic of the regime’s intentions: “We will not back off from the annihilation of Israel, not even one millimetre.” “Such a murderous regime should not be rewarded,” Bennett said, calling on the world to make sure not to allow “hundreds of billions of dollars [to be] poured right into their rotten regime.”
It was also reported that Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan, along with the World Jewish Congress (WJC), blasted the United Nations for its annual “Palestine Day” while ignoring the expulsion of Jews from Muslim countries. “On November 29, exactly 74 years ago, the UN recognized the Jewish people’s right to a state. The Jews and Israel accepted this partition plan, and the Palestinians and the Arab countries rejected it and tried to destroy us,” said Erdan, adding: “The Palestinians and the Arab countries not only attacked Israel, the Jewish state, they also persecuted, massacred and ultimately expelled the Jewish communities in their own countries. Shockingly, this atrocity is completely, completely ignored by the UN.”
As part of the campaign led by Erdan and the WJC, trucks carrying signs arrived at the UN headquarters and showed those entering the building pictures of Jewish refugees being expelled from Arab countries and Iran, along with a demand to stop erasing Jewish history. Meanwhile, a pro-Palestinian conference called “Solidarity with the Palestinian People” was held in the UN General Assembly. The conference, intended to strengthen support for the Palestinians “right of return,” was attended by the president of the General Assembly, the president of the Security Council, the Palestinian Ambassador to the United Nations and representatives of Palestinian civil society.” (End of the reports)
Today Satan is pulling out all of the stops to turn the nations against Israel. With a possible war looming with Iran it is clear that Israel cannot rely upon their so called ‘allies’ to come to their defence. It is clear that the United States government and the United Nations do not care for Israel’s security. Possibly Prime Minister Naftali Bennet is realising that Israel must go it alone against Iran and not count on any aid from the United States. Naftali Bennet made it clear in an online video that Israel’s issue is not with the Iranian people but with the regime with a track record of murder, mayhem and massacres. History has a way of repeating itself. Both the United States and the United Nations and even the European Union are making the same mistake that their forebears made by not dealing decisively with Adolph Hitler just before the outbreak of WW2 instigated by Germany. Today the western democracies are not dealing decisively with Ebrahim Raisi known as “The Butcher of Iran” and his agenda to annihilate Israel and the United States as we have seen in the online videos showing crowds of Iranian hardliners shouting out in unison “Death to America, Death to Israel.”
In Revelation Chapter 12 we see the dragon (Satan) pursuing the woman (Israel) to destroy the Messiah of Israel who was born a Jew. Satan used Pharaoh of Egypt (a type of the Antichrist) to destroy the firstborn of Egypt to stop the Messiah from coming into the world. Likewise King Herod sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in that region who were two years old or under. Herod was another type of the Antichrist to come. Satan’s final solution was the extermination of six millions Jews because he hates that fact that it was a Jew who disarmed him of all authority and power including his fallen angels and demons putting them all to an open shame before the entire universe through the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We are also told in Revelation Chapter 12 that the woman was protected from Satan’s final solution being the annihilation of Israel as a nation and preserved for 1,260 days being the entire time period of the last three and a half years of this present age (Revelation 12:6). Satan is furious because he knows that since the rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948 God has put Satan him on notice that his days are now short (Revelation 12:12). Satan continues to actively persecute Israel and the Body of the Messiah spiritually grafted into the Olive Tree being the Commonwealth of Israel.
This is what he is seeking to do through the corrupt politicians in America, Europe, England, the United Nations and the European Union, all anti-Semitic to the core if the truth be known. Their so called ‘support’ for Israel is just political rhetoric but these nations together are arrayed against the Lord and His anointed Messiah and all who belong to them and God laughs at their puny attempts to take Him on headlong and will ultimately terrify them with His fury (Psalm 2:1-5). Down through history Satan has sought to destroy the Jewish people because he knew from the Garden of Eden that the seed (the Messiah our Lord Jesus) of the woman Eve would crush the serpents head inflicting a wound from which Satan would never recover (Genesis 3:15).
Of course Satan now knows who that seed was and ever since the death and resurrection of the Jewish Messiah our Lord Jesus Satan has been hell-bent on destroying all who follow the Messiah as their personal Saviour and Lord. A war is coming between Israel and Iran. We are told this in the Book of the prophet Daniel (Daniel 10:12-14, 20). Iran will recover and join the invasion of Israel led by Turkey in the Ezekiel Chapter 38 war.
It seems the politicians in the western democracies are either ignorant of or wilfully blind to the global agenda of the Iranian regime not only to spread Islam throughout the entire region and the world if possible, but to exterminate faithful New Covenant believers, the State of Israel and America being that nation they see as “the Great Satan.” Naftali Bennet and the leaders of Israel are the only ones it seems that are willing, armed and ready to confront the Ayatollah’s of Iran and their leader known as “the Butcher of Iran.” Satan knows he has lost the war and total defeat is inevitable and he is making a last ditch stand to eliminate Israel and New Covenant believers grafted into the Olive Tree (Israel) At present he cannot destroy Israel and is hunting down the offspring of Israel being faithful New Covenant believers who obey God’s Commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 12:17).
For the sake of his elect saints and the remnant of Israel chosen by God’s grace, and for the very survival of the world, God will cut those days of Great Tribulation short (Matthew 24:21-22) and send the Messiah our Lord Jesus back to earth to establish His Messianic Millennial Kingdom on earth where righteousness, truth and justice will prevail over the surviving nations and in which His law will be the only law and where the global government will be upon his shoulders!
As Isaiah prophesies; “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from that time and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this!” (Isaiah 9:6-7).
