Two days ago in the online edition of Gatestone Institute a headline read; “The EU Leaders Join North Korea in Welcoming Iran’s Mass Murderer President.” According to the article it states; “By handpicking a mass murderer to be president, the Iranian regime is sending a strong message to the Iranian people and the world that it will not respect human rights. How could a leader of a democratic country congratulate a mass murderer? The people of Iran, like those of Hong Kong and now Cuba, have been struggling and fighting to change their regime, while European governments and leaders of democratic countries — including the current administration in the United States — have basically been sending a message to the people:
We do not care about your aspiration for justice, rule of law and human rights; instead we are going to partner with your authoritarian leaders. Europe’s leaders have also been totally disregarding calls by human rights organizations to investigate Iran’s mass murderer mullah — who will also most likely be the next Supreme Leader of Iran. “That Ebrahim Raisi has risen to the presidency instead of being investigated for the crimes against humanity of murder, enforced disappearance and torture, is a grim reminder that impunity reigns supreme in Iran…..
The circumstances surrounding the fate of the victims and the whereabouts of their bodies are, to this day, systematically concealed by the Iranian authorities, amounting to ongoing crimes against humanity.” (Agnès Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International, June 19, 2021.) It is indeed shameful, and a blow to the people of Iran and advocates of human rights and democracy, that European governments and leaders of democracies are joining North Korea to congratulate Iran’s mass murderer president — and wishing him success!”
Iran and North Korea are countries that perpetrate human rights abuses more than any other country with China being the possible exception. In these countries not only political prisoners are persecuted but more so born again Bible believers in the Lord Jesus are also imprisoned, tortured and killed for their faith in, and loyalty to, our Lord Jesus the Messiah. For many centuries Europe by and large at one time had a Biblical Judeo-Christian heritage and there was a time when Bible believers were “the salt and light” within the European democracies. While you had the inquisition and the pogroms against the Jews the gospel was still being proclaimed throughout Europe but by a minority.
Today Europe is a Post-Christian continent. The countries within Europe associated with Biblical Christianity at one time are now hotbeds of hedonistic, pagan lifestyles occult practices and pursuits that go against God’s laws and commandments and violate virtually everything that is good, upright and just according to the Word of God, the Bible. Democracy is fast disappearing in Europe as we see men like Macron of France, possibly an occultist, pushing for a united leadership of European leaders who ‘call the shots’ when it comes to controlling the people. France has a socialist government under Macron if the truth be known.
While you have Roman Catholicism still existing as a major religion in Europe we know from the Word of God that this ‘Christian’ religion teaches another way of salvation and associates with ecumenical and interfaith movements. Also you have Islam well ensconced within Europe at all levels of society including government postings. It is also clear that the leaders of Europe in the EU have little regard for human rights abuses in countries such as Iran and in North Korea, not to mention China.
The fact that leaders of the EU, including Biden in America, should congratulate and affirm the man they call “the butcher of Iran” clearly reveals these political leaders calling evil good and good evil, who are turning darkness to light and light to darkness and who are replacing bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter. Added to this, we see an alarming rise in Anti-Semitism rearing its ugly head against the Jewish people throughout Europe and even in the United States.
There is no doubt that Iran is a very dangerous country at present as its despotic regime continues with its nuclear programme while ‘thumbing its nose up’ at Europe and America and calling for the annihilation of America and especially Israel. It is a form of insanity that sees the western democracies of the free world, as it once was called; now supporting the current Iranian regime clearly intent on gaining nuclear capability. To add fuel to the fire we see these political leaders congratulating a man who is of the same character and spirit that moved Adolph Hitler to do what he did.
Many, both within Christendom and the secular world, are talking about a New World Order or those committed to the Great Reset which they are saying is a growing conspicuous feature immerging from the western democracies but what these power hungry autocrats do not recognise, or fail to recognise, is that the real threat to western democracy and to the whole religious world is Islam. Today you have Muslims in power in the halls of political power not only in Europe but in America. Joe Biden has quite a few on his staff with key portfolios including direct access to top secret documents and files within the White House.
Let’s face it we are living in a Post Biblical Judeo-Christian world. We know from the Word of God that Satan is the god of this world and that he is working tirelessly with his fallen angels and demons to dismantle and destroy the Judeo-Christian heritage that has been the foundation and bulwark of the freedom and democracy that has characterised the west for many centuries and given us the freedoms we have had in the western democracies for many centuries.
These days those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter, are within the leadership of nearly all of the western democracies. Laws are being enacted and legislated to destroy our Judeo-Christian Biblical heritage and to bring on society a godless form of despotism which in the long term will bring about a totalitarian government where people look to a centralised form of government to direct every aspect of their lives.
The current COVID-19 so called ‘Pandemic’ has given many secular leaders within the corridors of western politics to push this socialist agenda. Behind the scenes the god of this world Satan is seeking to bring to power his man the Bible calls the man of sin or the Antichrist. While Europe, Great Britain, America, Russia and even China are all vying for power militarily and economically, Islam is growing steadily in leaps and bounds with an Islamic empire of global proportions on the agenda. While there seems to be a New World Order within western democracies it more than likely will be hijacked by Islam or at least have to fight a war with Islam. 9/11 clearly revealed that Islam is already at war with the west.
It will be nations like Turkey and Iran, Iraq and Pakistan that will devastate the west and the world as we saw happening through Adolph Hitler whose regime kick-started WWII. Of course when WWIII comes the stakes will be much higher as we are now well into the nuclear age. The next world war will be a judgement of God upon a world that has refused to repent of their lawlessness towards God and to receive the salvation offered in the Lord Jesus. (Revelation 9:13-21)
Not only within the secular world, both at the political and social lever, do we have those calling evil good and good evil, who are turning darkness to light and light to darkness, and who are replacing bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter, but many leaders within wider Christendom and in Israel doing the same thing. In all of this the world is being set up for the revealing of the man of sin. The spirit of Antichrist has already been at work in the world since the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In these last of the last days this spirit of antichrist is active, not only in society, but in Israel and within wider Christendom.
Today those who are marginalised, persecuted, rejected and fast becoming the off scouring of society are those, who because they love the Triune God and His unchanging Word, are calling evil as evil and good as good and not substituting that which is sweet for bitter. They are telling the truth as it is only found in the Lord Jesus the Messiah who Himself is the way, the truth and the life and the only way back to God. (John 14:6) There is salvation in no one else but in Him alone. (Acts 4:12) Only the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus the Messiah will put an end to the man of sin, his lawless empire and his persecution of God’s people. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10) The final apostasy has started. (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
The false prophets are numerous and infesting the wider Body of the Messiah. False miracles, signs and wonders are “all the rage” within wider Christendom and even among many Charismatic style mega-churches and these will pave the way for the coming of the man of sin. (2 Thessalonians 2:9) Sin, righteousness, the coming judgement, and the time of Great Tribulation to come are being laid aside by many false prophets and teachers who instead are teaching Kingdom Dominion, doctrines, the Purpose Driven and Alpha agendas and seeker-friendly, seeker sensitive programmes that sooth the conscience, titillate the senses, and avoid the weightier matters of the law such as Eschatology, the reality of hell and the lake of fire, and of Israel’s place in God’s end-time purposes for His ancient people.
So then we are seeing the leaders of Europe and America congratulating the next most likely Supreme Leader of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, who undoubtedly has butchered unnumbered thousands of believers in the Lord Jesus in Iran as well as others who disagree with the ideology of this despotic regime. God Himself says to this regime and all other regimes that seek to confront Him and despise and dismantle His laws and persecute His people; “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter.” (Isaiah 5:20)
