(Daniel 11:42) “He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape.”
According to an online news report on Sunday 10th September Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in New Delhi in their first extended meeting after the two countries resumed diplomatic relations earlier in the summer to end a 10-year rift. The meeting between the two leaders came on the sideline of the 18th G20 Summit that was held in India this month from 9-10 September.
The meeting between the two leaders comes on the heels of a series of steps taken by the two countries to restore relations on all levels, ending a 10-year rift. In early July, Cairo and Ankara upgraded diplomatic relations to the ambassadorial level. Later in July, Turkish media reported that President El-Sisi could make his first-ever official visit as president of Egypt to Turkey toward the end of the month. However, there has been no official announcement of an exchange of visits between the two leaders to their respective capitals yet.
Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, a former military man, helped orchestrate the coup against his predecessor—President Mohammed Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood—followed by a severe crackdown on Islamic groups. Now it is a well-known fact that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is an ardent supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and its ideology. To have him shaking hands with President El-Sisi may well be a ruse by the Turkish President, an act of Taqiyya to convey disinformation or misinformation about ones true intentions and beliefs and masking effectively their real agenda in a time of Jihad. The Muslim Brotherhood clearly has a perspective to enforce Islamic Sharia law on a global scale.
In Daniel Chapter 11:36-45 we have a description of the military campaign of the Antichrist who, like Antiochus Epiphanes the Seleucid Greek military despot in past history came out of Syria primarily to attack Egypt and finally invaded Israel. The Antichrist himself will meet his demise by the power of God (Daniel 11:45). In Daniel Chapter 11 the prophet tells us that Egypt will fall to the antichrist and his beast empire which will be a military campaign led by Turkey (Daniel 11:42) (Ezekiel 38:1-6).
In Ezekiel Chapter 38:1-6 the nations that attack Israel are all Islamic nations today. Five of the eight nations mentioned by Ezekiel occupy modern Turkey and possibly some of the southern Russian regions near the Caucasus Mountains as well as some of the Turkic nations of Central Asia. The other three nations mentioned; Libya, Sudan and Iran, together with Turkey form a perfect circle around Israel. Turkey covers Israel’s entire northern horizon, while Iran is east of Israel, Sudan is to the south and Libya is to the west. Israel will find itself surrounded on all four sides by the Islamic nations of the Antichrist’s empire. (See the book titled; “Antichrist, Islam’s Awaited Messiah” by Joel Richardson, pages 103-109).
Ancient maps of the Middle East all show that the five of the Islamic nations mentioned in Ezekiel chapter 38 are all located in the geographical region of modern day Turkey. Added to this, we have also seen Erdogan and Putin shaking hands. Turkey as well as Russia may well join forces in the attack on Israel as both Turkish and Russian forces are situated just over Israel’s Northern border in Syria. The Golan Heights controlled by Israeli forces is the hindrance to an invasion from Syria over Israel’s Northern border.
Right now Israel is not a unified nation with political unrest, massive demonstrations by discontented Israelis that are having a detrimental effect even on some of the IDF military forces and the nation itself plagued by acts of terrorism escalating almost every week in Israel. Hezbollah are stirring for a fight with Israel and upping the ante on their threats. Hamas continue their hostility. Both Hamas and Hezbollah are being supplied weapons from Iran that also has military and technical personnel in Syria. As for the Assad regime they also have it in for Israel. Syria has always been antagonists against Israel.
The nations that will attack Israel are forming an alliance it would seem. While Islam is divided it will be when the Mahdi of Islam arrives on centre stage of international affairs that by satanic power he will be able to get the whole Islamic world to unite against all of the nations that do not submit to Islamic rule.
When Islam invades Israel under the Islamic Commander in Chief the Islamic Antichrist, it will see the nations of the world also confronted by this Islamic empire of global proportions (Revelation 13:7). Islamic sleeper cells will unleash acts of terrorism in many western cities. America, Europe, England and possibly even in Australia and New Zealand, will all have to face Islamic militancy from Islamic countries fostered by unchecked migration policies of governments in the western democracies. Already we have an Islamic Trojan Horse entrenched at every level of society in the west including western governments.
The day will come when Christendom itself, not only in the Middle East which is already feeling the brunt of Islamic militancy, but in the western nations historically and traditionally associated with Judeo-Biblical Christianity but that are now neo-pagan, will be faced with Islamic aggression, a judgement from God because of widespread apostasy within these western nations. When the Islamic Antichrist from Turkey rises up with his Islamic beast empire the whole world will be shaken. Egypt will not escape. When you look at Israel’s three main victories Israel had over their implacable enemies in 1948, 1967 and in 1973 Egypt were one of the main aggressors.
In fact God’s Word tells us that all the nations whose armies attack Israel in the last days will also be judged by God (Zechariah 12:2-3; 14:3). Egypt will not escape this judgment as the nation will be under the rule of the Islamic Antichrist with the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood established in the nation. The Islamic Antichrist will meet his demise and that of his vast army on the mountains of Israel with no one to help him in the end. The Messiah our Lord Jesus will see to that personally when He returns! (Isaiah Chapter 19) (Daniel 11:45) (Daniel 2:32-35, 39-45; 11:45) (Ezekiel 38:22; 39:4-6) (Isaiah 63:1-6) (Revelation 19:11-21).
