Spies for the WCC
In Saturday’s edition of Israel Today online there was a disturbing headline which read; “Exposed: World Council of Churches Spying Against Israel.” The article went on to say; “The World Council of Churches (WCC) has been caught funding spies posing as tourists to present biased and incendiary reports about Israel’s “brutal and oppressive treatment” of Palestinians. The WCC program called the Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) sends foreign nationals to Samaria and Judea pretending to be tourists. Posing as Christian pilgrims visiting biblical sites around Jerusalem and Hebron, these politically-motivated activists take pictures and publish fake news reports slamming Israel’s so-called “abuses” against Palestinians. In their “news reports,” these anti-Israel spies use Bible verses and theological terms “loaded with anti-Semitism,” said Amit Barak, one of the Israelis who exposed the group. They even posted anti-Semitic pictures like a “Star of David bleeding on Palestinian children,” he said.”
Hypocracy
The Prophet Daniel wrote…
“Those who have insight among the people will give understanding to the many; yet they will fall by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for many days. Now when they fall they will be granted a little help, and many will join with them in hypocrisy. Some of those who have insight will fall, in order to refine, purge and make them pure until the end time; because it is still to come at the appointed time.” (Daniel 11:33-35)
Around 160 years before the birth of our Lord Jesus the Maccabees (Faithful Jewish resistance fighters) were waging a guerrilla war against the forces of Antiochus Epiphanies. Israel was fighting for its survival much like we see today in Israel. In the Bible Antiochus is a major type and foreshadow of the man of sin called the Antichrist to come. When Antiochus first came to Israel many Jews thought he would come in peace and others who saw what he was up to ‘sucked up’ to him anyway and went along with his agenda to change the laws and customs of israel and replace them with Greek laws and customs. Antiochus also killed anyone caught with a copy of the Torah and even introduced cult prostitution to Israel. Many Jews went along with this and said nothing.
Resistance
But there were some who knew what he was really up to and resisted him and sought to warn others as well, as there will be in Israel when the man of sin s Israel in the near future. I am persuaded that just as they were guerrillas fighting Antiochus so when the Antichrist brings his reign of terror against Israel for three and a half years there will be faithful resistance fighters like the Maccabees, who will be fighting a guerrilla war against his forces. Both faithful Jews and Messianic believers will also be fighting alongside their Jewish brothers and sisters as they are now doing in the IDF.
An election in Israel?
In the time of the Maccabees there were those who joined these patriots pretending they were ‘on side’ but with the evil intent of betraying them and many faithful Maccabees were betrayed by their own brethren and were killed. Even in Israel today there are Israelis who want to see the government of Israel overthrown. Prime Minister Netanyahu is in their ‘gun sights’ right now. In their ‘madness’ they cannot see that the man is doing the best he can to defend and protect his fellow Israelis and that the government of Israel needs to stand together. Quite frankly an election is the last thing Israel needs right now!
Betrayal and subterfuge
The World Council of Churches, in league with many western European countries, are sending these ‘spies’ into Israel pretending to be Christians on the pretence of being ‘Christian pilgrims’ interested in Israel but their intensions are evil and wicked and they have malicious intent. These so called ‘Christian pilgrims’ are betraying Israel to their enemies. They are bringing themselves and their families under God’s curse because they are cursing Israel whereas if they really loved the Lord Jesus they would be supporting and praying for Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem. (Genesis 12:1-3) (Matthew 25:34-36) (Psalm 122:6)
The Lord Jesus Himself said…“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of Me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most (Christians) will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:9-13)
Anti-Israel Ecumenism
In the last days the Lord Jesus was telling us that even within Christendom (Institutionalised denominational ecumenical Christianity) many professing Christians would betray born again Bible believing Christians to the secular authorities. Concerning the WCC, with its ecumenical association and its obvious Anti-Biblical stance on Israel, many Christians who stay in this wicked organization will lose their love for the Lord Jesus because of the increase of wickedness within and without wider Christendom and because of the rapid rise of Anti-Semitism within the WCC.
False profits (prophets)
Added to this there is no end today of false prophets within wider Christendom who have a false anointing. Just look at the infestation of the hyper faith prosperity kingdom dominion, ‘have it good in this world’ prophets and teachers on TV and over the internet bastardizing the Word of God and peddling it for the sake of filthy lucre (money) and to gain the adulation of men. They have their reward in this life but no reward in the life to come! (Matthew 6:1-2) These will follow the Antichrist along with the world because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved but have delighted in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2: 9-12)
‘Theological Mishmash’
When you consider the theological mishmash and anti-semitism being generated by the WCC these days, the apostasy within the professing Christian Church is conspicuous and in full-swing and paving the way for the man of sin to sit in the temple of God to proclaim himself to be God. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) When the man of sin is worshipped as God in Israel he will also be worshipped within Christendom as the New Testament also calls the Church God’s Temple. (2 Corinthians 6:16)
Those who have insight
Those who have insight will warn others both in Israel and within wider Christendom. Many will be betrayed even by those they thought were on side and fall by the sword but rise again to a glorious resurrection in the Messiah our Lord Jesus! As for those, who have loved and practiced wickedness and despised, persecuted and rejected Jesus’ Brethren Israel, and by extension and inclusion the faithful Body of the Messiah, He will most certainly have scathing words to say to them on that day when the nations that have survived the Great Tribulation are gathered before Him to be judged…
“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:41-46)
It doesn’t pay to mess with Israel!
