Today there are two prominent powerful empires emerging in the world. One is Chinese Communism and the other is Islam. It would seem that ‘the sun is setting’ on the United States as a world power even though it still has military clout at present. With the battle continuing for the Presidency things are still not settled within the political leadership of America. There is a third world ‘power’ it seems that is committed to a New World Order as such which I am inclined to think is a predominantly western organization made up of an elite group of very powerful and rich men that are deeply involved primarily with the politics of western governments. We do know that in America they have such a group called the Deep State that are covertly seeking to undermine the democracy and freedoms America has enjoyed since it was founded as a nation and turn America into a Totalitarian State. The Deep State is a form of despotism and control similar to Communism/Marxism ruled by an elite body of men dedicated to establishing a global New World Order.
Much of the thinking in many Evangelical circles regarding Bible prophecy for many years has been focused on Europe as the future empire of the Antichrist and for a European potentate who will be the prophesied Antichrist or the man of lawlessness. In reality today Europe is in a mess socially, politically and spiritually. Others in prophecy circles in the wider Church are exclusively focusing on this NWO that wants to have global government. Having said this we need to go back to the Word of God to see what it actually teaches.
The Bible is a Middle-Eastern Book and the prophetic events mostly happen in the Middle-East and not Europe. Virtually all of the nations and geographical locations mentioned in connection with Biblical prophecy related to the future are all Islamic nations today. I would like to suggest that there will be an Islamic New World Order that will arise to dominate many nations. Of course there will also be a ‘horn’ or ruler over this vast beast empire. In the Book of Daniel Chapter 11:36-45 we have described the man of sin who makes himself God and superior to all other ‘gods’ (spirit beings) and makes great boasts (Daniel 11: 36-37) this corresponds with the one and the same man of sin mentioned in Paul’s second letter to the assembly at Thessalonica. (2 Thessalonians 2:4)
The prophet Daniel also tells us that his ‘god’ is the god of fortresses or you could say the god of the sword. Islam is the ideology of the sword; hence you see the crossed swords pointing upwards denoting conquest and subjugation by the sword on all Islamic banners. We are also told that the man of sin who exults himself to be ‘God’ will meet his end at Jerusalem where Satan had his first defeat and where he will also have his second defeat. (Daniel 11:45) Islam today is spreading through virtually every nation globally especially the western democracies. Muslims are not only working across every level of society but infiltrating the political arena. Islamic political parties are already well entrenched in the western democracies.
There is no doubt that the Muslim Brotherhood and other lesser known Islamic entities are infiltrating western governments where, in a democracy, people can vote in the leaders they want. Islam is the Trojan horse within the western democracies and Muslims tend to have lots of children. If you have enough Muslims within a democracy where leaders are voted in by the people then Muslim political leaders can be ‘legitimately’ elected. We know that the previous Obama regime had relations with the Muslim Brotherhood and that Obama himself was most probably a Muslim by religion. His instigation of the Iranian Nuclear Deal showed his contempt for Israel and for the western democratic system he supposedly was seen to support.
It seems that the New World Order is operating in Europe and America and in Great Britain which are all western democracies. I would like to suggest that with the Islamic invasion, by stealth, of the western democracies we would see wealthy Islamic leaders hijacking the New World order elites to establish the final global Islamic beast empire which will see the final mark and the image of the beast appear. This end-time empire of Islam, the second beast empire that comes up out of the earth or the Land, is the first beast empire resurrected. (Revelation Chapter 13) Islam cannot assimilate with any other culture and it will not compromise with any western power no matter who they are. The prophet Daniel describes Islam to a tee in the fourth beast empire. (Daniel 7:7, 19) This beast empire Daniel describes crushes an devours its victims and tramples underfoot whatever is left and is different from all other beast empires that have preceded it historically.
It is highly possible that the last beast empire will be a combination of Western technology fused with Islamic ideology. With the rapid development of Quantum dot technology that can be applied via a patch with very tiny needles that can penetrate the human skin with tracking capabilities, may well be the means to control those who give their allegiance to the Antichrist and his beast empire. In these dots with their encapsulated information under the human skin could also contain the Islamic Creed of allegiance to the Islamic faith. We see this principle already at work with Muslims wearing a head band and an arm band with the Islamic creed printed on them. The Caliphate of a resurrected Turkish Ottoman Empire as the head nation of the Islamic world with a supreme caliph would see a man who would rule as s despot in this empire. His word would be law and undoubtedly would execute any who do not bow down to do his bidding receive his mark in the skin of the forehead or right hand and worship his image. (Revelation 20:4) Beheading is the main form of execution in Islamic countries.
With the development of three dimensional imaging and lifelike images as we see in virtual reality video imaging, his image could appear on huge television screens erected on skyscrapers in major cities throughout his empire for all to see, and also seen through the internet on computers and on the smart phones. Some years ago there was a photograph of Recep Tayyip Erdogan speaking to a huge audience in an Auditorium only he was not present personally but his three dimensional holographic image (icon) was and it was speaking as if he was personally there. (Revelation 13:15) Today this three dimensional imaging technology is being perfected to a fine art especially in the cyber world of virtual reality. In the Greek text of Revelation 13:15 the word for “image” is the word “icon” or “picture” or an image. In the Greek Orthodox world religious “icons” are seen as mirrors into the unseen spiritual realm. Added to this we would see huge loudspeakers calling everyone to bow the knee in the Islamic call to prayer. Those who would not bow down would be removed.
We see a foreshadowing of this worship of the beast empire, its image and its overlord in the time of King Nebuchadnezzar who had a statue of gold made in his image and commanded everyone in his empire to bow down and worship it or be executed in the fiery furnace. The statue represented him as well as the empire. The “beast” in revelation chapter 13 represents am empire but also at the same time its ruler or overlord.
In the Biblical account we see the three faithful Hebrews who would not bow the knee and chose rather to burn trusting completely in the Lord and in the end they were saved out of it without any sign of or smell that they had ever been in the furnace. We are also told that a fourth man that looked like the Son of God was in the fire with them and He was the Messiah before He became flesh and tabernacled among us. (John 1:14) Their deliverance through fire represents faithful Jews and Gentile believers in the Messiah at the end of this age passing through the furnace of persecution and even martyrdom knowing the very presence of the Lord Jesus with them in the fire but being raptured and resurrected at His Second Coming (Revelation 7:13-17) (Matthew 24:29-31)
If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus then your deliverance will most assuredly come! No matter what the Islamic Antichrist and his beast empire and their NWO will seek to achieve their plans will come to fiery end when the Messiah our Lord Jesus returns with the armies of heaven and his raptured and resurrected saints. On that day the Messiah will wreak havoc and a fiery retribution on all who have dared to stand against Him and persecute His people Israel and by extension the faithful Church spiritually grafted into Israel. (2 Thessalonians 1:8-10)
The hope of the first century believing Body of the Messiah was the blessed hope of the glorious appearing of the Messiah our Lord Jesus for His holy people and this too should be our hope and light in the rapidly encroaching spiritual darkness and chaos starting to spread its tentacles across the globe. (Titus 2:11-14) In the last days when spiritual darkness sweeps through the nations the Lord’s people will shine with His glory and splendour with ever increasing brightness!
As the prophet Isaiah writes; “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. “For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. “Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.” (Isaiah 60:1-3)
