I believe it was Golda Meir, one of Israel’s finest Prime Ministers (1969-1974) who said concerning the Arab hostility against the Jews; “If the Arabs lay down their weapons there will be peace, however, if the Jews lay down their weapons there will be no Israel.” She lived through the 1948 attack on the Jewish people when Israel became a nation again in its own right after almost 2,000 years of exile. The 1948 war against overwhelming odds became a sure and certain victory for Israel. Then in 1967 she saw the 6-Day War, a miraculous God ordained victory that saw the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank and the Golan Heights and the whole city of Jerusalem once again in Israeli hands. She saw the failed attack on Israel in the 1973 Yom Kipper war.
Since its rebirth the nation of Israel has become a burden to the nations especially the status of Jerusalem and constantly targeted on the whole by the International Community. In these last of the last days God is making Jerusalem a heavy and burdensome rock for the nations that will be ripped apart who try to move it from its God ordained place on earth. (Zechariah 12:2-6).
In reality Biden is continuing the push against Israel as did Obama who showed his aggressiveness against the Jewish nation by brokering the 1915 Nuclear Deal with Iran knowing full well their maniacal obsession to wipe Israel off of the map. Biden, a crony of Obama, has not given up on finding alternate ways and means of doing a financial deal with Iran at the expense of Israel’s security.
Now once again Israel has become ‘the bad boys’ in the eyes of the International community because of the construction plans for a further 4,560 housing units to be constructed in the very heartland of Israel being Judea and Samaria as they are called Biblically. As usual the Biden Regime is attacking Israel for going ahead with this planned construction of the Jewish settlements.
As usual the United Nations is also once again joining in the ‘Israel bashing syndrome.’ The Biden Administration are supposedly ‘deeply disturbed’ as are the leaders of the United nations conglomerate because their plans for the two-state solution from hell has been further delayed by this Israeli plan to build more Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.
These international ‘regimes,’ in reality that are antagonistic towards Israel actually support the ‘Palestinian’ Arabs in their justification in their own eyes to commit acts of violence and terrorism against Israelis on the excuse that the Land of Israel is occupied territory that has been stolen from the Arabs by the Jews.
Many in the news media and in the leaders of the International community are calling Israel an Apartheid nation. What those who oppose the settlements do not see, or refuse to see, is that the Jewish settlers have every right to live in Judea and Samaria because of God’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob concerning the whole land of Israel to be for their decedents “An Everlasting possession.” (Genesis 17:7-8).
And so we read in God’s Word concerning the land of Israel; “On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates” (Genesis 15:17-18). The Land of Israel was given through a blood covenant God cut with Abraham and for his decedents through Isaac, not through Ishmael (Genesis 16:19-22). The whole land of Israel includes Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). Those who argue against this truth argue with God!
While the Land of Israel is God’s real estate, which He owns, He has bequeathed it as their inheritance to be for them an everlasting possession through a blood covenant cut with their forefather Abraham and passed on to Isaac and Jacob and to their descendants the Jewish people. Since the time of King David almost 3,000 years ago Jerusalem has been the Capital of Israel and was named the City of David with God’s approval (2 Samuel 5:6-10).
The name ‘Palestine’ was an invention by the Romans to try to eliminate Jewish solidarity and identity. The Romans derived this name from the name Philistine, the ancient enemies of Israel in the Bible. The same principality (Satanic spiritual entity) that was at work behind the scenes to destroy the Jewish people in the time of the Philistines is still at work today behind the scenes in Gaza seeking to destroy the Jewish people. Israel will never be destroyed because of God’s blood covenant cut with Abraham and ratified by the blood of Messiah Yeshua who through His shed blood ushered in the New Covenant which was made with the House of Israel and with the House of Judah, not with the a Gentile Church! (Jeremiah 31:31-34) (Matthew 26:28).
Gentile New Covenant believers in Messiah Yeshua are spiritually grafted into the Olive Tree, being the Commonwealth of Israel and share in the blessings of Abraham with both Jew and Gentile Messianic believers united as one new man in Messiah (Ephesians 2:11-22).
Today the hostility against Israel continues unabated and more so as Satan knows that his final defeat, and that of his agents, both in this physical world and in the unseen fallen spiritual realm where he heads up his operations, will soon be destroyed by the Second Coming of the Messiah Yeshua our Lord and Saviour. This will include the man of sin (2 Thessalonians 2:8) (Revelation 19:19-21).
Let the Biden Administration and the UN and the EU ‘rattle their sabres’ and press home their rhetoric and vilification of Israel concerning who owns the land, however, they do not realise that when they make an affront to Israel they are making an affront to God! God is a God of battle and in these last days will defend Israel against all of its enemies, not because Israel has earned His favour, as they are still by and large estranged from their Messiah and aliens and strangers to their own covenants of promise.
However for His name’s sake God is going to have mercy of His people, bring them back to the foot of the cross of the Messiah our Lord Jesus and at the end of this age make Israel the Head and not the tail over the surviving nations globally in the Messianic Kingdom to come! (Zechariah 12:10-13:1) (Ezekiel 36:19-38; 37:15-28) (Zechariah chapter 8) (Romans 11:25-29) (Isaiah 2:1-5).
As for the nations that have divided up Jerusalem God will bring the multitude of their armies into the valley of judgement, the valley of decision, and there enter into judgement with those nations that have assumed to carve up God’s land and to destroy the Apple of God’s Eye, the nation of Israel (Joel 3:12-16). After that the LORD will dwell in Zion! (Joel 3:17-21).
