The ‘Globetrotting Caliph’
On the 4th January this year a joint press conference was held between Presidents Erdogan of Turkey and President Imran Khan of Pakistan. The meeting was held in Turkey at the invitation of President Erdogan. Once again we see President Erdogan bringing another huge Islamic nation under the umbrella of a revived Turkish Ottoman Caliphate. Back in May last year President Erdogan spoke to the leaders of the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Cooperation) whose stated objective on their website is “Protecting the rights and interests of the Islamic World, strengthening the cooperation and solidarity between the Member States.” At this meeting President Erdogan called upon Muslim countries to unite and to confront Israel. There is no doubt that he is proving to be a strong leader in the Islamic world. In realty at present he could be titled; “The Globetrotting Caliph.”
The Coming Caliphate
It is common knowledge in that part of the world and in western nations that the Man from Turkey wants to see the Turkish Ottoman Empire resurrected to its former glory as a world empire with himself as the Supreme Caliph of the whole Islamic world. Gaining Pakistan is an Islamic ally has further cemented the future resurrection of the Caliphate. When you look at a map of the middle-east today you can clearly see how Islam has spread right throughout the whole region. Israel is right at the centre and surrounded now on all sides by its sworn enemies. The motto of the Muslim Brotherhood is the standard of ideology and type of government President Erdogan wants for the caliphate. Their motto is; “’Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.” President Erdogan 100% agrees with this ideology and wants to see it established in every Muslim nation and everywhere the Caliphate has been established.
The Fourth Beast
As I understand the book of Daniel Beasts in Bible prophecy represent Empires. There were four beast empires Daniel saw but the one that troubled him the most was the fourth beast empire. He describes it as an empire that was different from the other three. Why was it different? Daniel tells us that it was most terrifying and that with its iron teeth and bronze claws crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. (Daniel 7:19) In fact Daniel tells us that this fourth beast kingdom will devour the whole earth trampling it down and crushing it. (Daniel 7:23) the three previous beast empires were Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece.
The Greco-Roman World
Rome came out of the Greek empire but it could not have been the fourth beast empire Daniel describes. Rome’s philosophy, religions, deities, military strategy, government and economics had their roots in Greek culture and religion and it would have to be incorporated within the third Beast Empire. Rome was often referred to as “the Greco-Roman World.” All of these three consecutive empires that included Rome connected to Greece retained and inherited much of the culture and religion of the preceding empire they conquered. They all had the same two deities but only changed their names.
It cannot assimilate
However, the fourth beast empire could not assimilate or blend with the former culture or religions; neither could it embrace their gods. It was the Turkish Ottoman Empire that finally destroyed the Eastern leg of the Roman Empire. The western leg of the Empire fell to the Barbarian hordes around 1,000 years before. Islam cannot and never has been able to assimilate or adapt itself to any other culture or religion. It destroys and tramples underfoot any nation, or any person or anything for that matter that does not embrace Islamic Ideology. When you consider the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood it is clear this fourth beast empire Daniel mentions cannot blend or assimilate.
Halal conformity
Today in England there are areas that are actually controlled by Muslims and Sharia law and the police do nothing about it including the government. It is the same in much of Western Europe. Many products on supermarket shelves are now marked as Halal products. Halal is an Arabic word meaning lawful or permitted. In reference to food, it is the dietary standard, as prescribed in the Qur’an (the Muslim scripture). The opposite of halal is haram, which means unlawful or prohibited. Halal and haram are universal terms that apply to all facets of life. These terms are commonly used in relation to food products, meat products, cosmetics, personal care products, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, and food contact materials. Islam has already invaded the western democracies and Sharia law is also coming for Muslim enclaves within these western countries.
Jihad on the agenda!
At present Muslims all around the globe are waiting for their 12th and final Mahdi to appear centre stage in world affairs that they believe will lead the whole Islamic world in a global Jihad for Islam. The resurrected Turkish Ottoman Caliphate with Erdogan as the Supreme Caliph would give them their Mahdi and unite Islam under the one banner of the crescent moon, the star and the crossed swords and in agreement with the Muslim Brotherhood ideology. Muslims only fight themselves when they are not engaged in jihad with non-Muslims. If they are to fight non-Muslims then they will join forces to fight the “infidels” as they call all non-Muslims. Right now President Erdogan is placing himself as a global leader in the eyes of the Muslim world. His desire to invade Jerusalem and to take back the temple Mount for the Arabs would make him a hero in their sight and throughout the whole Muslim world.
“A time, times and half a time”
It was a master stroke of his to get President Trump to withdraw American forces from Syria. Will Iraq be next to see American troops withdrawn? Eventually Afghanistan will also come under the rule of the Caliphate. President Erdogan may well pull that one off as well. Ultimately if this man from Turkey is the man of sin then he will take East Jerusalem and half of the City will go into exile. (Zechariah 14:1-3) At this time for three and a half years he will seek to change the Jewish laws and customs and impose Islamic law on the remaining Jews in Jerusalem. He will stop the temple sacrifices and kill anyone caught with a copy of the scriptures Not only will he persecute the Jews but also Christians living within the entire domain of his empire. (Daniel 7:21, 25; 8:24; 12; 7) (Revelation 13:7) “A time, times and half a time” adds up to 42 months, 1,260 days or three and a half years by the Jewish calendar.
Cutting those days short
This time of three and a half years will usher in a time of trouble and stress of global proportions unequalled in past history and never to be equalled again. However to keep the world from annihilating itself and for the sake of God’s elect saints, being both believing Jews and Gentiles, God Himself will cut those days short and send the Lord Jesus back again. (Matthew 24:21-22) We are also told in Matthew chapter 24:29 that “immediately after the tribulation of those days” the rapture and resurrection of the saints will occur at the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus the Messiah. (Matthew 24:29-31)
Pakisatan Joins the caliphate
Pakistan has now been enlisted into the ranks of the coming caliphate. Who will be next? Will it be Afghanistan? We know from Ezekiel chapter 38 that Turkey will lead the invasion force against Israel supported by Iran, Libya, Ethiopia and the Sudan. The “many nations” that join the main invasion force mentioned in Ezekiel Chapter 38, even though they are not mentioned by name, would have to be Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, the Turkic speaking southern states that were formerly part of the Soviet Union. Added to these you would have Afghanistan, Egypt, and most probably Tunisia, Morocco Algeria Niger, Chad and Somalia, all Islamic nations today. More than likely most of Africa will become part of the revived Turkish Ottoman Caliphate before the Lord Jesus comes back.
The Court will sit
If President Erdogan becomes the Supreme Caliph of Islam he will have no problems raising a 200 million strong army as mentioned in Revelation Chapter 9. They will come across the dried up Euphrates River. They would be the kings of the east also mentioned in the Book of Revelation. These Islamic armies will be opposed by non-Muslim armies. (Daniel 11:38-44. Daniel also tells us that the rule of the man of sin and his whole empire will come to an end when the heavenly court sits in judgement on him and his beast empire. At that time the saints on earth will inherit the Messianic Millennial Kingdom. The saints of the Most high will possess the nations and co-rule over them with their Messiah. (Daniel 7:9-14, 22, 26-27; 8:25) The caliph of Islam and his satanic hordes from hell that have invaded Israel and persecuted the saints of the Most High will meet their demise at Jerusalem personally at the hands of the Messiah our Lord Jesus when He comes back. (Daniel 11:45) (Zechariah 12:1-9; 14:3-5) After this the Messianic Millennial Kingdom will commence. (Zechariah 14:6-21)
