Earlier this week following the Israeli strike to take out members of Hamas’ political bureau in Qatar, fifty leaders from across the Arab and Islamic world gathered in Qatar’s capital for an emergency meeting in an “unprecedented show of unity” against Israel’s air strike of the Gulf state last week, as Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned further strikes may be on the horizon. As yet there is no firm evidence that the strike was successful.
The urgent talks come just before a major summit, where regional leaders are expected to coordinate a unified response to Israel’s attack in Doha targeting Hamas leadership.
Israel bombed Doha on 9 September, targeting Hamas militant leaders who, according to Qatar, were in its capital to discuss Donald Trump’s latest ceasefire proposal for Gaza. The air raid, which was conducted without prior knowledge of either the US or Qatar, marked a significant escalation of Israeli military action since the Hamas-led 7 October attacks by Hamas terrorists.
Qatar, a key mediator and host of talks for Gaza, is also the home of Washington’s largest base in the Middle East and this has possibly made things harder for the United States to maintain their alliance with Israel. At present America does have Israel’s back.
Qatar has issued a warning to Israel that they will do whatever is necessary while Iran and Turkey are calling for a massive action against Israel. This meeting in Doha has been called an ‘emergency’ session of the Arab League and the organization of Islamic cooperation where Muslim nations have roared against Israel.
The Emir of Qatar opened his speech with an all-out attack on Israel saying; “For our part we are determined to do whatever is necessary and permitted by International law to preserve our sovereignty and confront this Israel aggression. Anger has swept the Middle-Eastern region with Islamic leaders demanding action be taken against Israel’s so called ‘attacks’ as they call them.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for Muslim unity and demanded economic sanctions against Israel. His virulent anti-Semitic comments were clear when he said; “We are aware that Israeli policies of occupation, destruction, assassination and genocide will not come to an end unless it is met with civil sanctions” calling out Israel’s “unfair” military tactics in Gaza. He further added; “We cannot let Genocide continue in Gaza.” His rhetoric against Israel is consistent.
The Iranian President said; “All Muslims are brothers” clearly demanding unity against Israel. He also said; “We should also reinforce our unity and solidarity to stand up to this Zionist entity. This entity is launching attacks against all our country.” He went on to say that words were not enough, hinting it would seem at the huge U.S, Base in Qatar, which Iran had demanded in the past to be removed.
The Doha summit in reality is seen as a final united call against Israel by Muslim nations after the Arab realisation they are not safe from Israel, which in reality they are not if they are hell-bent on attacking Israel, a nation defending itself against militant Islamic Jihadist aggression.
Qatar, like the majority of the Islamic world, is not at all friendly with the western democracies even though they have allowed America to have a very large military base in Doha. Qatar is an ardent supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood which has as its agenda a global Islamic caliphate which sits very well with Erdogan who also embraces the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood and the resurrection of the Turkish Ottoman Caliphate.
The estimated membership of the Muslim Brotherhood globally sees Egypt with 1 million, other Arab countries with 500,000 members. In Europe there are 100,000 members with North America having 50,000 members. The total is 1.65 million adherents. These are approximate statistics.
No doubt these numbers are increasing as we see Islam infiltrating the west big time! Just look at Great Britain, Germany and France and Spain now inundated with Islamic migration which is in these countries out of control and spreading.
The Brotherhood’s worldview is hostile to ‘moderate’ Muslims, religious minorities, women, LGBTQ, and liberal democratic values. Antisemitism is woven deeply into the Muslim Brotherhood’s worldview. Hamas is an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have long banned the Muslim Brotherhood as a threat to the stability of their regimes.
Qatar has pumped approximately $8 billion into Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government, which assumed power in 2012 under the leadership of Mohammed Morsi. After Morsi was ousted in 2013, Qatar offered sanctuary to Egyptian Brotherhood members and to the movement’s de facto spiritual leader, the late Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi.
Meanwhile, Doha threw its weight behind other Muslim Brotherhood branches during the Arab Spring, including in Tunisia and Libya. Qatar is likewise a patron of Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood’s ‘Palestinian’ offshoot.
Qatar has provided Hamas-run Gaza with over $1 billion while hosting Hamas’s political office and sheltering its leaders. The Qatari-owned Al Jazeera Media Network promotes Muslim Brotherhood ideology to audiences around the world.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been a long-time champion of the Brotherhood and provided a base of operations for its leaders following the fall of Mohammed Morsi’s regime in Egypt in 2013.
After the October 7 massacre, Erdogan intensified his public support for Hamas, refused to condemn its atrocities, and vociferously denied the organization’s terrorist nature. For years, Turkey has provided sanctuary to Hamas leaders and fostered a permissive environment for terror financing.
Now we know from the Word of God that the armies of the Islamic nations are going to attack Israel. This latest summit seems to be fermenting and pushing ahead for the invasion. While Prime Minister Netanyahu is at the helm of Israel the Israelis will not stop their offensive into Gaza.
The irony is that any other sovereign nation that was attacked as Israel was on October 7, 2023 would at once retaliate regardless of civilian casualties.
In WW 2 the allies dropped two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to stop the Japanese war machine in its tracks. What about the carpet bombing with incendiary devices on Dresden by the allies. Were civilians considered in Japan or Germany?
Israel’s armed forces are the most humane military and air force in the world. What other nation drops leaflets to civilians warning them of an impending air strike? Israel does! What other nation seeks to avoid civilian casualties utilising precision strikes on enemy infrastructure? Israel does!
What is Israel supposed to do when Hamas terrorists in Gaza hide in hospitals, educational institutions, in apartments and dress as civilians while seeking to kill Israeli soldiers?
As for humanitarian aid to Gaza Israel has continuously supplied multitudes of trucks laden with food supplies for the citizens of Gaza, even though multitudes of the citizens still support Hamas; Israeli trucks that have been hijacked by Hamas, which, through its media propaganda perpetrated on the west by Al Jazeera, which Qatar funds and supports, has damned Israel, accusing the Israelis of genocide which the western mainstream media by and large have swallowed “hook line and sinker!”
Where will it end? It will end when the LORD avenges His chosen people Israel and their spiritual offspring, the faithful Body of Messiah, both having been ruthlessly persecuted by Islam.
As we read what the LORD says in the prophet Isaiah…
“For My sword is satiated in heaven, Behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom (Saudi Arabia the heart of the Islamic world) And upon the people whom I have devoted to destruction. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, It is sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah (located in Southern Jordan and the gateway to Saudi Arabia). And a great slaughter in the land of Edom. Wild oxen will also fall with them And young bulls with strong ones (metaphorically speaking about the hordes of Islam).
Thus their land (Saudi Arabia) will be soaked with blood, And their dust become greasy with fat. For the LORD has a day of vengeance, A year of recompense for the cause of Zion (Zion being God’s corporate people both Jew and gentile in Messiah among whom the LORD dwells).
Its streams will be turned into pitch, And its loose earth into brimstone, And its land will become burning pitch (as the oil reserves under the Saudi Peninsula burn out of control).
It will not be quenched night or day (due to fall out in the atmosphere-Revelation Chapter 18). Its smoke will go up forever (being an eternal judgement). From generation to generation it will be desolate; None will pass through it forever and ever” (Isaiah 34:5-10) See also (Revelation 17:15-18).
We know that when the Messiah our Lord Jesus returns He will take the ultimate fight to the Islamic armies that have attacked Israel (Isaiah 63:1-6) (Revelation 19:11-16). Both of these passages of scripture are describing the one and the same battle, much like two video cameras recording the one and the same event, but from two different angles.
In both passages you have the rider on the horse, with His robes dipped in the blood of His enemies, and the winepress of the wrath of God mentioned into which the armies of Islam and the nations supporting them will be thrown.
After they are physically killed their souls will go down into the pit of Hades and they are specifically named and are all Islamic nations today (Ezekiel 32:18-32).
We see the winepress of God’s wrath mentioned in two other texts describing the one and the same battle. In these two texts the winepress of God’s wrath is also mentioned (Joel 3:1-3, 12-16) (Revelation 14:17-20).
In the end all Israel, the faithful remnant having been reconciled to the Messiah, will be rescued when; “the LORD will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the sky will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel” (Joel 3:16).
In that day all Israel will be saved when the deliverer (the Messiah) will come from Zion and turn godlessness away from Jacob, because of His new covenant with them ratified forever in His blood, when He takes away their sins, because “God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable!” (Romans 11:26-29).
