The whole world is “a ticking time bomb” which is centred in the Middle-East.
It is the most dangerous time in history where the stakes are higher than they have ever been in past history with weapons of massive destruction in the arsenals of the super powers.
The United States has reinforced its naval presence in the Middle East with the deployment of a second aircraft carrier, amid ongoing airstrikes targeting Houthi rebel infrastructure in Yemen.
The USS Carl Vinson, equipped with advanced F-35C fighter jets, is now operating alongside the USS Harry S. Truman with flights operating from both of the naval vessels.
The aim is to disrupt Yemen’s capacity to target international shipping and military vessels operating in strategic waterways clearly sowing that the United States means business where enemy hostilities are concerned.
The Houthi rebels have upped their attacks in the region since October of 2023, having launched drones and ballistic missiles towards cities in Israel while also targeting commercial ships in the Red Sea region, in support for Gaza.
Currently a war for economic control in the world is going on between the world’s two super powers America and China.
It is a tariff war where the United States is perpetrating a 145% tariff on goods imported from China, while China is responding with a 125% tariff on goods imported from America.
America and China are the two biggest economic power houses in the world both seeking a dominance knowing that who dominates controls the world. For decades America has been a super power unchallenged by another super power.
Even the Cuban Missile crisis between America and Russia that occurred during the JF Kennedy Administration that brought the world to the very brink of a nuclear exchange cannot be compared to the formidable enemy of China, now a global power posing a direct threat to America militarily.
America will not relinquish its No.1 position as the world’s greatest super power, where as China does not want to be No.2. The current trade war it would seem is the first step in the war of empires escalating rapidly, a war that China is determined to fight to the very end.
America and Russia are in conflict over the war in Ukraine. Trump wants to end the war, but Putin doesn’t. Potentially it could mean that the United States may have to engage in a war with Russia.
Tensions are increasing between Israel and Turkey over Syria and Turkey is not happy with the fact that Israel controls the Golan Heights. From there the Israelis can remain vigilant and prepared for any hostile incursion coming out of Syria.
Israel is worried about Turkish bases being built in Syria from which airstrikes could be made against the Jewish nation. Already the Israelis have conducted air strikes in Syria taking out several Turkish bases.
As for Erdogan’s regime they have been producing propaganda videos showing Turkish soldiers marching with flags triumphantly to conquer Jerusalem, an endeavour supported by the whole Islamic world.
Right now the United States is seeking to get the Iranian regime to abandon its nuclear programme. President Trump has been putting increasing pressure on the regime to comply with his demands or face dire consequences which may see America engaged in another war.
While Israel and America are allies there are other kingdoms that would support them such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and The United Arab Emirates that are afraid of Iran going nuclear.
Breaking news in the last hour (16.4.2025) is that the Iranian regime has totally rejected any agreement proposed by President Trump. Possibly the Iranians are counting upon the support of China, Russia and even North Korea?
Now the US forces are more than capable of striking Iran if they will not relent and if this happens there will be catastrophic consequences which would see the end of the regime controlling Iran.
President Trump said thjis week; “Radical Jihadists will not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon!”
If America strikes Iranian nuclear sights it will not be easy as the Iranians have missile factories in tunnels deep underground that are very sophisticated and stocked with the latest missiles.
These underground tunnels are hidden deep inside mountains and would not be easy to hit. There are at least 14 of these underground missile factories.
Having said this, the Americans have the most powerful bunker bombs in the world that can explode deep underground penetrating these tunnels.
Israel’s concern is the Security of the nation. America’s concern is that if Iran gets a nuclear weapon then other nations such as Turkey will also want to have a nuclear weapon.
No doubt things are heading in a very dangerous direction in the Middle-East especially for Israel as Iran has been engaged in a relationship with China and Russia.
If these three demonically controlled nations decide to join forces against the United States it will also be against Israel, America’s only genuine ally in the region.
Turkey is not part of this alliance so far, however, Turkey are enemies of Israel and could well join this alliance of Iran, China and Russia and together attack Israel with other Islamic nations joining them.
God’s Word describes this kind of global conflict at the end of this present age which will see the armies of many nations march on Israel and attack Jerusalem as they come out of Syria to the North and from Egypt in the south.
At present Egypt have military forces with tanks facing Israel in the Sinai desert just over the border between the Sinai with Israel.
As we see the real possibility of armies forming to attack Israel possibly we are seeing the prelude to the Ezekiel 38-39 invasion, a war between Israel and its immediate hostile nations hell-bent of the destruction of the Jewish people.
At present America are still a super power to be reckoned with and a deterrent to Chinese and Russian power. Xi Jinping, Putin and the Ayatollah’s of Iran know that America is still a global power to be reckoned with.
However, if it happens that President Trump is assassinated, the LORD forbid, or cities in the United States are suddenly hit with missiles, then America would have to withdraw its armed forces from the nations where they are stationed to return home to defend their home soil.
This would leave Israel at the mercy of their implacable demonic antagonistic Muslim neighbours. This would also leave the South Pacific Islands including Australia vulnerable to Chinese domination.
Now God has arranged an appointment for Israel with the Messiah our Lord Jesus, an appointment they cannot avoid.
After Israel has passed through the Time of Jacob’s Trouble and are in a desperate life or death situation, the Messiah our Lord Jesus will reveal Himself to the surviving Israeli remnant as Israel’s Messiah, Lord and Saviour and as their rightful King. For every Jew still living in Israel it will be “life from the dead!” (Romans 11:15).
The prophet Zechariah writes…
“I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn” (Zechariah 12:10).
Rabbi the apostle Paul also wrote…
“…a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; and this will be My covenant with them when I take away their sins…For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable…” (Romans 11:25b-27, 29).
It would seem that in the Middle-East we are seeing the harbinger of WW3 in the making. However, we also know that this will occur as God’s final judgment on a Messiah hating, Messiah rejecting world (Revelation 9:13-21).
However this global conflagration of empires will be the prelude to the Second Coming of Messiah accompanied by the armies of heaven to destroy all opposition to His Kingdom and to deliver Israel.
After He has established His Messianic Kingdom on earth reigning on David’s throne with His headquarters in Jerusalem, He will reign over the surviving nations (Isaiah 9:7) (Zechariah 14:6-21).
As we also read in the prophet Isaiah…
“And many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob (Israel),that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the Law (The Torah), and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” (Isaiah 2:3b-4). Selah!
