King Solomon wrote; “What has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9) Watching a video from Gravitas News posted on the Israel Unwired website earlier this week a presenter spoke about the COVID-19 in relation to China, suggesting that the Chinese Communist Party was taking steps to further their ambition to have control over the world’s economy. The video showed that COVID-19, while affecting the people in Wuhan province, did not greatly affect the main cities in China where the manufacturing factories and businesses were concerned and where certain major western companies had their factories.
The presenter mentioned two of these manufacturing cities and commented how strange it was that they were hardly affected by the virus. According to the report in Beijing there were 569 cases of COVID-19 and only 8 deaths. The population in that city is 20,463,000, and then in Shanghai there were 468 cases of COVID-19 but only 5 deaths. The population of the city is 27,058,000. The question that was asked was “why was the statistics so low?” It also reported that businesses were starting up again across China while the rest of the world was in an economic downward spiral.
At present China is doing a roaring trade in producing masks and protective suits and other necessary products desperately needed in all of the world’s nations right now. At the conclusion of the video the presenter said; “China exported a virus to the world. Now the world is sick and China is providing them the balm and while the world tries to heal, China is already up and rising.”
After watching this video the question can be asked “why did this virus come out of China? Was it a biological weapon that went viral or a deliberate attempt to control the world’s economy?” In the video report the presenter said that the Australian government were scared because of Australia’s economic ties with China. Having said this Australia has a praying Prime Minister leading this nations Bible believing Christians in prayers. May God spare Australia from a Chinese Invasion!
A lot of business comes into Australia from China as it does in almost every western democracy including America and Europe and other Asian countries. Many large companies in the western democracies have their factories in China. Whether it is mobile phones, cars, electronic devices, clothes and many other everyday products we all take for granted, it is all coming from China. Added to this why is China investing in many small countries in the South pacific and building mobile airstrips and storage facilities with ports for shipping in the South China Sea? It looks like expansionism is the name of the game for China!
On the video the presenter mentioned a book on Military Strategy published in 1999 by two Chinese generals called “Unrestricted Warfare” which apparently reveals China’s master plan to destroy America. According to the presenter the Book makes an argument that China cannot defeat America in a direct military confrontation but it can leverage its economic prowess leaving the Americans behind. The presenter also said that the books assessment has eerie similarities with the present situation.
Now China is a Communist Country and when you look at the history of Communism the leaders always do well but the majority of the people suffer in some way. According to an article published in the NYR Daily back in 2018 it stated; “It is probably fair to say, then, that Mao was responsible for about 1.5 million deaths during the Cultural Revolution, another million for the other campaigns, and between 35 million and 45 million for the Great Leap Famine. Taking a middle number for the famine, 40 million, that’s about 42.5 million deaths.
Today Communism still reigns supreme in China. Could it be that the Chinese Communist party have deliberately engineered this virus to destroy the world’s economy even though they knew there would be collateral damage to many of their own people? According to Business Insider Online back in January before the lockdown in Wuhan about 5 million people left the city.
According to the article it stated; “Escaping the outbreak may have been the cause for some people fleeing the city. But it also coincided with the Lunar New Year, China’s most important holiday in which city workers return to their hometowns. Lunar New Year is the largest annual human migration, with Chinese citizens making a combined 3 billion trips during the season. Chinese workers get a week off work, from January 24-30. For many, it’s the only time they get to go home during the year, which may explain the desperation to leave Wuhan in the face of an impending quarantine. It appears that Chinese officials have sympathized, since the holiday has officially been extended to February 2.”
Were not the Chinese government not aware of the effects of the Virus? When you consider Communism it is quite feasible that its leaders have no real qualms about ‘sacrificing’ their people so that the regime can stay in power. A most glaring example was Communism under Stalin of Russia. During his reign it is estimated that at least 20 million Russians died and possibly even more than that. Today in North Korea the people suffer under the Communist regime. North Korea and China are well known for their human rights abuses and persecution of Bible believing Christians.
When you think about biological weapons we have already seen this in use when Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons on a Kurdish village in Iraq. Then you have Assad in Syria who is highly suspected of using Chemical weapons on civilians. According to Open Doors world watch list there are some 97,200,000 Christians in China and most have been living in areas of high persecution. The Chinese Communist Government may have its sights on establishing a global economy if it can. Of course it may not be able to do this in the long term because of the islamic beast empire spreading its tentacles of power across the globe. The Bible says nothing about China prophetically speaking, but it says a lot about Islam in the last days.
In this unprecedented situation we face at present with COVID-19 let’s not forget that God still has everything under control. Satan may be ‘the god’ of this world and controlling the wicked hearts of the unsaved but let’s also remember that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. (2 Corinthians 4:4) (Psalm 24:1) Satan does not own the planet but God does!
For every faithful born again bond slave of the Lord Jesus the day will come when the remembrance of the wicked will be no more, when every tear will be wiped away and the trials of the past forgotten. This will be the eternal blessing for all those who have been born again and remained faithful to the Lord Jesus and who have stood steadfast on His Word in the face of great adversity. (Psalm 37:10) (Revelation 21: 1-4)
In the movie Zulu, a true story, a small detachment of British engineers were fighting against thousands of Zulus and there was a young soldier in the ranks who was quite scared when he saw the overwhelming number of Zulus with their bloody spears. Standing beside him was a veteran of several wars, a Sargent Major, a seasoned soldier, who encouraged this young soldier by quoting from Psalm 46. “Come; see the works of the LORD, who brings devastation upon the earth. He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields in the fire. “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.” (Psalm 46:9) As it has been said; “Man proposes but God disposes!”
