The prophet Daniel wrote; “At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood. He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand. He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with the Libyans and Cushites in submission. But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many. He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.” (Daniel 11:40-45)
Three days ago in the Economic Times Online a headline read; “Turkey building naval warship for Pakistan.” The article went on to say that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had publically announced that his country has started construction of a warship set to be sold to the Pakistan Navy. Turkey is one of 10 countries worldwide able to build, design, and maintain warships using its own national capabilities. President Erdogan said that he hoped that Pakistan would benefit from the ship whose construction had already started. He said; “Our navy, rich with glorious victories, is carrying this legacy into the future by further strengthening it,” He then added “Its top-class equipment, discipline, qualified personnel and all the accomplishments it undertakes that make Turkey.”
In July 2018, the Pakistan Navy signed a contract with Turkey for the acquisition of four MILGEM-class ships, which can be hidden from the radar. Earlier this year President Erdogan “the globetrotting Caliph” was visiting Pakistan to further cement economic ties with that Islamic nation. For the past few years President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been consolidating Turkey’s relationship with other Islamic nations. Added to this he has made himself the chief advocate for the so called ‘Palestinian cause’ and calling for the liberation of Jerusalem from the Jews. At the United Nations last month he, along with Abbas, was calling for Jerusalem to be the capital of Palestine and implying that the Jews were usurpers and had no rights to Jerusalem or to the Land of Israel. Of course Iran also supported this rhetoric from the podium at the United nations. Their clear disdain for the Jewish people is evident.
There is no doubt that the man from Turkey seems to exhibit the character of Antiochus Epiphanies and fits the description of the King of the North and his Islamic allies that are on a collision course with the King of the South. Historically the King of the South was primarily Egypt. The present government in Egypt ousted the former government committed to the agenda and creed of the Muslim Brotherhood, however the King of the North will overthrow the Egyptian government and re-establish Muslim Brotherhood leadership in that nation. The King of the South (Egypt) at present has an ally in the United States. The United States and Egypt share a strong partnership based on mutual interest in Middle East peace and stability, economic opportunity, and regional security. An attack on Egypt would see an attack on America and its allies.
Already President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is relentlessly pursuing his conquest of Syria as he seeks to wipe out the Kurds if he can, yet he also knows that the Kurdish fighters are backed by the United States. In Daniel chapter 11:1-35 the prophet Daniel described the wars that would occur historically between the Seleucid dynasty (the kings of the North) with the Ptolemy Dynasty (the kings of the south) However there is a break in the Hebrew text between verses 35 and 36. Daniel by the revelation of the Holy Spirit telescopes into the future to describe a war at the end of this age between the last King of the North with the last King of the South. Now we see Turkey building warships for Pakistan and in July this year securing a deal with Russia for $2 billion dollars to buy S-400 missiles which can shoot down aircraft at a distance of up to 150 miles (240 km) and intercept ballistic missiles up to 38 miles away. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is now seeking to buy fighter jets from Russia since he was turned down by the United States.
There is no doubt that this King of the North is preparing for war. Daniel foresaw in the Spirit that this last King of the North would sweep through many countries and that Egypt would fall along with Libya and Ethiopia and much of Africa. As for the leaders of Southern, Central and Northern Jordan, (all with their Palestinian enclaves today) they will escape his conquest, having already given him their allegiance and support in his Jihad to ultimately ‘liberate’ Jerusalem for the Palestinian Arabs. His ultimate goal will be the invasion of Israel where he will set up his caliphate at Jerusalem for three and a half years. (Revelation 11:3)
During this time throughout his empire which will be vast, the King of the North from Turkey will oppress faithful Jews and by extension and inclusion faithful Christians. (Daniel 7:21,25; 12:7) (Revelation 13:5-8) Having said this it is also at Jerusalem where he will meet his end at the hands of the Messiah our Lord Jesus who will go forth to fight for Israel. (Zechariah 12:1-4; 14:3-14) As we see the Man from Turkey preparing his chariots (mobile missile launchers) his cavalry (Turkish tanks) and his fleet of ships (warships) we see Daniel’s prophecy becoming a reality in our time. It is possible that we will see a naval engagement the straits of Hormuz that will see a ‘face-off’ between Turkey and America? We know from the Bible that Iran will back Turkey in any fight! (Ezekiel 38:5) Added to this undoubtedly Israel will back America in any fight!
There is no doubt that the major nations are aligning themselves for the third world war. (Revelation 9:13-19) At the very epicentre of this end-time conflict will be Israel. After three and a half years of the Caliphate having been established in Israel the Lord will step in to save His covenant people Israel and the whole world from annhiliation. (Matthew 24:21-22) And so we continue to read what Daniel writes concerning the Turkish King of the North; “But reports from the east (China) and the north (Russia) will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many. He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at the beautiful holy mountain (the City of David and the real location of the temple Mount which at the moment is hidden under thickets (Micah 3:12) yet he, (the King of the North) will come to his end, and no one will help him.” (Daniel 11:44-45)
As Daniel also writes; “He (the King of the North) will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.” (Daniel 8:25) When the dust of battle finally settles across the Middle-east and beyond the last man standing will be the Prince of princes our Lord Jesus the Messiah! (Daniel 2:32-35, 44-45)
