The Valley of Decision!

“Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.” (Joel 3:14)

Yesterday in Reuters edition of world news online a headline read Iran, “Russia take aim at U.S. military presence near Syrian oilfields.” Part of the report went on to say; “GENEVA (Reuters) – Iran and Russia on Tuesday condemned U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to maintain a military presence near oil fields in north eastern Syria, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov saying any exploitation of resources would be illegal.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif addressed the issue at a news conference in Geneva on Tuesday evening after meeting with his counterparts, Russia’s Lavrov and Turkey’s Mevlut Cavusoglu. “Well it seems that the United States is staying to protect the oil. And at least President Trump is honest to say what the United States intends to do,” Zarif said to laughter. “Iran and Russia are there on the invitation of the Syrian government, and we intend to stay there as long as the Syrian government and Syrian people want us to be there,” he said.

Lavrov said that the return of U.S. forces to Syria, after their transfer to Iraq, was “under the pretext of protecting oil deposits from the Islamic State.” “The essence is that any illegal exploitation of natural resources of a sovereign state without its consent is illegal and that is the view that we share,” he said. “Our U.S. colleagues are aware of our position and we will defend that position,” Lavrov said. Fahrettin Altun, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s communications director, said in a tweet later on Tuesday: “Syria’s natural resources belong to Syrians.”

While President Trump has publically stated that he no longer wants to see American forces fighting others wars and has pulled US forces out of Northern Syria he still has a US presence in southern Syria protecting the oil fields. No wonder the Iranian regime, reeling under the economic sanctions, wants to ‘safeguard’ Syria’s oil fields. Russia is also interested in the oil in Syria.

Turkey is also aware of the oil deposits in Southern Syria. It seems Oil “is the name of the game” in the Middle-east. Those who control the oil control the economy of the world. In the light of past history America, Russia and Turkey, are all expansionist nations and intent on making their economies the strongest and their nations the greatest of the super powers. Recently we have seen American intervention in Venezuela politics and it’s interesting to note that with 300,878 million barrels, Venezuela has the largest amount of proven oil reserves in the world. In second place is Saudi Arabia with 266,455 barrels.

Earlier this month it was reported in VOX online that “The Trump administration will send nearly 2,000 troops and advanced military equipment to Saudi Arabia to deter threats from Iran — a move that will increase America’s presence in the Middle East, even as President Donald Trump has somewhat boasted about ending wars in the region. The administration’s campaign both to increase pressure on Tehran and deepen ties with Riyadh has seen the US send an additional 14,000 military members to the Middle East since May this year.” Added to this the US has sent an unspecified number of B-1B Bombers and F-22 aircraft to deployment in Saudi Arabia for Stability in the region and as a deterrent to Iran sending missiles into the Saudi Kingdom.

The report in VOX went on to say; Trump is right to note that the US has lost thousands of Americans and spent trillions of dollars fighting these conflicts (though not quite as many trillions as Trump suggests) — not to mention the suffering endured by citizens of these war-torn nations. But Trump is saying these things to justify his decision on Sunday to move American troops in Syria — a decision that’s drawn bipartisan pushback.

It’d be one thing if he were bringing all 1,000 US troops in the country home, but he’s not. Instead, he’s moving just 50 US service members out of northern Syria to get out of the way of a just-started Turkish invasion. That’s not all. A late September report from US Air Forces Central Command showed that the US launched the most airstrikes in Afghanistan over a single month in roughly a decade.

American troops have ramped up airstrikes in Libya targeting ISIS fighters there. And the US continues its shadow war in Somalia to fend off terrorist groups there. To be fair, there are legitimate reasons to send more troops to Saudi Arabia: The move could help defend the US ally, could make Iran think twice before attacking Saudi Arabia again, and allows the US to respond to a crisis if necessary. But making this decision does nothing to end America’s presence in the Middle East — no matter what Trump says.”

One might think that according to the Trump Administration that the Kurds are ‘expendable’ when it comes to the matter concerning oil. During the George Bush Administration oil deals was ‘the going thing’ with the Saudis even though Christians were being beheaded by the Saudis and persecuted on a regular basis by the Saudi government as they are still doing to this day. President Trump has spoken about defending the rights of persecuted Christians and other religious minorities but it would seem this is somewhat of a diversion to mask America’s agenda to control the world’s oil reserves. This is the reason the super powers are in the Middle-east today.

It is highly likely that in the future oil will be found in Israel to such a degree that it will eclipse any other country in the world in the quantity of oil it will produce and export. It will be a ‘gold mine’ for Israel but a lure to the surrounding nations to ultimately invade Israel. There are already reports of huge oil deposits in the Golan Heights and this is most probably why President Trump has recognised the right of the Golan Heights to belong to Israel. America has a vested interest in this.

Russia and Turkey also know this as well. Added to this Israel also has huge natural gas reserves. According to the Jerusalem post online today (31 Oct 2019) it said; “The discovery of more major natural gas fields in Israel since 2009, including Tamar and Leviathan, has transformed the Jewish state from an energy-dependent country into an energy supplier, both domestically and abroad.” Oil and the gas reserves most likely will be the catalyst that will see the nations attack Israel led by Turkey. (Ezekiel 38:1-14) (Zechariah 14:1-2)

The invasion from the North will come over the Golan Heights and the attack from the South at Bozrah in Southern Jordan being the gateway to Saudi Arabia. The Messiah is seen fighting Islam here after He has come back. (Isaiah 63:1) God will use this ‘obsession for oil’ as the ‘hooks’ in the jaws of the Turkish Antichrist and his Islamic armies that will draw them to their ultimate doom in the valley of Jehoshaphat that will see “multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision” (Ezekiel 38) (Joel 3:1-3) (Zechariah 12:1-9) (Isaiah 63:1-6)

As the prophet Joel prophesies; “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and My heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up My land, and have cast lots for my people, and have traded a boy for a prostitute, and have sold a girl for wine and have drunk it… Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. The Lord roars from Zion, and utters His voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge to His people, a stronghold to the people of Israel.” (Joel 3:1-3, 14-16)
