In Monday’s edition of Newsweek online a headline read “Iran Unveils “Missile City” in Show of Strength Before Trump Israel Meeting.”

According to the report it stated…

“Iran has unveiled a new underground missile facility along its southern coastline, marking its latest show of military strength. The “Missile City,” designed to house a range of systems, was revealed alongside the presentation of a new ballistic missile with a striking range of over 1,000 miles, according to state news agencies…

The unveiling of the underground missile facility signals Iran’s attempt to strengthen its strategic military assets amid escalating tensions with the U.S. and its allies. Since the return of Trump, who pursued a “maximum pressure” approach to Iran in his first term, Tehran has made multiple shows of military force.”

Iranian state media reported that the subterranean facility houses hundreds of cruise and ballistic missiles, designed to resist electronic warfare and aerial strikes…

…Iran also revealed a new ballistic missile with a range of over 1,000 miles and capable of reaching U.S. bases in the region as well as Israel. While technical details remain limited, state media highlighted its advanced targeting systems…

In December, Iran unveiled two underground bases—one for ballistic missiles and another for speed boats. In January, it showcased a vast underground missile complex, which officials described as a “dormant volcano ready to erupt.”

Iran’s missile advancements are occurring in the context of increased tensions with both the U.S. and Israel. The U.S., under Trump, withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal and imposed harsh sanctions on Iran, further exacerbating tensions.

Iran continues to monitor the policies of Trump’s administration, particularly regarding the potential for military action in the region.”

Now that President Donald Trump is in the White House and who has so far shown his support of Israel the heavy question for Iran more than ever before is whether there will be a military strike on its nuclear facilities?

Since the fall of the Assad regime the IRC (Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp) has lost their impact on the Middle-Eastern region.

In Israel, in Saudi Arabia and in the United Arab Emirates the regimes in these Arab kingdoms are speaking against Iran, especially in light of the Presidency of Donald Trump who brokered the Abraham Accords when he was in the Oval Office in his former Presidency.

Both Israel and the United States know that Iran’s power is weakened and that it is time to attack Iran.

There seems to be a willingness of the Trump Administration to go even harder on Iran. Both the Republican and Democratic political parties in Congress want to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat.

It is now time for Israel, the United States, and other countries in the region concerned about Iranian nuclear capability not to make sanctions but to initiate a military response before Iran goes nuclear.

What would the nations of the world do if faced with a nation with a Jihadist mindset that has nuclear capability?

Israel is clear about taking a military response to Iran and with Prime Minister Netanyahu meeting with President Trump in the White House they will more than likely be discussing how to deal with Iran.

The Iranian regime knows this, hence, the “display” of their latest missiles and touting about their “Missile City.”

Having said this, if Israel and the United States decide “a first strike” on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure will other countries take supportive action?

Possibly Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates may well join the strike force, knowing the danger Iran is to these Arab Kingdoms. They don’t want Iran going nuclear, not only for their own security, but also knowing that if Iran goes nuclear it will destabilise the whole of the Middle-East.

The Saudis want civility in the region, and want to align themselves with a power that will bring peace and stability to the region.

In the Bible we have the nation of Elam mentioned, which today would be Iran. According to God’s Word the future of Iran is clear. The Elamites were known for their skill in archery. Today Iran is known for its skill in launching missiles and is rapidly moving towards nuclear capability unless stopped.

Jeremiah the prophet spoke about the future of Iran prophetically at the end of this present age. (Jeremiah 49:34-39).

God is going to break their missile capability and scatter the militant Iranians into exile (Vs.34-36) In His fierce anger He will shatter the Iranian regime before their enemies and many will fall by the sword of the LORD (Vs. 37).

He will set His throne in Iran and destroy its Islamic regime (Vs.38) He will restore the fortunes of Iran (Vs.39).

Ancient Persia for the most part was always friendly towards the Israelites. The Shah of Iran always favoured Israel. The Iranians themselves ethnically were indo European and were Zoroastrian religiously.

Zoroastrianism in historical Persia was followed by Sunni Islam in the Middle- Ages after the Arab conquest, then Shia Islam since the Safavid conversion of Persia (Iran) of the 15th century.

After the deposing of the Shah in 1979, when Ayatollah Khomeini ousted him from power, the people of Iran were forced into being a Jihad-minded fundamentalist Sharia compliant Islamic nation.

Khomeini set up a diabolical despotic dictatorship, turned Iran into a Sharia compliant Islamic nation, and started to systematically indoctrinate the people against Israel and the western nations, especially America.

He also systematically started to persecute Christians.

We know from the prophet Ezekiel that the armies of Iran (Ezekiel 38:5a) will fall on the mountains of Israel when the LORD destroys all of the armies of the nations that have attacked Israel (Ezekiel 39:4-6).

The Iranian armies, along with all of the other armies of the nations, will go down in wholesale lots into the pit of Hades (Ezekiel 32:24-25).

Today in Iran the Body of Messiah in Iran, though severely persecuted, is one of the fastest growing Churches in the Islamic world.

In the Messianic Age to come Iran will be one of the chief nations that will have God’s prosperity and blessing and have His spiritual throne at the centre of the nation, and its people will worship the Messiah in His Millennial and eternal glory.

Indeed our Triune God will set His throne of worship in Iran!
