(Genesis 12:3a) “And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse.”
Just after midnight on December 31st 2023 Hamas fired a volley of 27 rockets at central Israel as a reminder that they are not finished with attacking the Jewish nation. In a coordinated response thousands of Arabs in Judea and Samaria marched in support of Hamas and the Arab civilians in Gaza. Israelis in Israel are becoming increasingly aware that the majority of Arabs living in Gaza, Judea and Samaria overwhelmingly support Hamas and terror attacks on Jews across the Land of Israel.
Right now the IDF in Gaza are engaged in urban warfare as they go from house to house seeking to terminate Hamas terrorists. They are now is a situation that is endangering the lives of the IDF soldiers on the ground. Already the IDF casualties are mounting. The commanders and the IDF ground forces desperately need more support from the Israeli air force. However, there are ‘higher ups’ in the Israeli military circles who are attempting to restrict the Israeli air force from bombing known Hamas sites. The ‘higher ups’ are in fact pressuring the IDF commanders to keep fighting even without adequate air support. Where is the real pressure coming from?
In reality the whole of Gaza is Hamas and this includes the majority of civilians living in Gaza. Hamas are teaching children in kindergartens to hate Jews and kill Jews and its international funding is from US taxpayer’s dollars going to UNWRA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency) and to the Palestinian Authority where all of their educational materials, textbooks and television programmes are teaching these children to kill Jews and how to kill Jews and to dream of killing Jews and dying as a martyr. While IDF forces on the ground seek to minimise civilian casualties these children are being taught by Hamas to use their lives to protect the terrorists themselves. Why are the lives of IDF soldiers being sacrificed to protect Gazan citizens when for the most part are all Israel’s enemies?
Eyewitness accounts tell of how targets in civilian areas of Gaza are given to Israeli pilots to bomb but who at the last minute are prevented by the ‘higher ups’ in Israeli military circles who have authority over the Israeli armed forces making it difficult and dangerous for the IDF soldiers on the ground fighting from house to house because these targets are not completely destroyed. Where is this pressure to restrict the air strikes really coming from? Many Hamas terrorists dress up like women and send out women and children to distract the soldiers so that the IDF ground forces do not shoot but are in turn shot at by Hamas terrorists.
Sometimes Hamas terrorists will even put up white flags to distract the IDF so that they will not shoot and then open fire on the IDF soldiers. Israeli soldiers have only split seconds to react. Possibly this was the scenario that occurred when the innocent hostages were accidently shot even having a white flag? It was a tragedy of course when those who are killed were victims of friendly fire, but possibly a split second reaction to what the soldiers had been facing was the real situation?
Now as the conflict extends into Southern Gaza where there is limited air support more IDF soldiers are being killed in Southern Gaza than in the North which did have more air support than there currently is in the South much to the danger of the IDF engaged in urban warfare from house to house and that without adequate air force support. Why? Well Israel’s hands are tied behind their backs as it were by the Biden Administration which in reality is not supportive even though they express support for Israel verbally. Media Headlines on Internet publications says it all!
On the 13th October one week into the war after the genocidal massacre and butchery by Hamas occurred on 7th October Antony Blinken US Secretary of State said that the US congress continues to remind Israel to avoid Gazan civilians, not about dealing with Hamas or stating that October 7th should never happen again. There seemed to be no real concern or consideration expressed for woman raped, children burnt alive, babies killed and beheaded in their cots and innocent Jews butchered like animals being slaughtered.
Then on November 3rd once again a Media headline reported that Blinken urged Israel to show restraint in their campaign to destroy Hamas. When did America show restraint when it bombed Afghanistan or in Iraq for that matter? Well it usually doesn’t. Why should Israel then be pressured by the Biden Administration to show restraint? If the US was attacked by another country would there be restraint in their response to such an attack? Of course the Biden Administration is insisting that Israel show restraint. What an irony! What hypocrisy!
When the US dropped the two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki back in 1945 did they show restraint in harming the civilian populations in those two Japanese cities? Most likely it was a response to Pearl harbour if the truth be known! During WW2 the city of Dresden in Germany was set on fire by the carpet bombing of the allied air force. German munitions factories were there in civilian populated areas. Hamas are the modern equivalent of the Nazis especially with their hate of the Jews.
Then a week or so after the 7th October massacre Blinken pressured the Israeli government to re-think its strategy in Gaza calling for humanitarian pauses and insisting Israel cannot have long term security solely through military means. He went on to say the enemy cannot be defeated by military means alone but only by political means. Of course any cease fire or cessation of hostilities for any length of time only gives Hamas time to re-group and re-arm!
Then on 11th November a headline read “More Must be Done to Protect Gazan Civilians.” The article suggested that there should be daily pauses in Israel’s bombardment of some parts of Gaza to help reduce civilian casualties. This in itself clearly sends a message to Hamas and the whole Islamic world that the western politicians are weak and indecisive when dealing with an implacable enemy.
Then on 28th November a headline read; “Blinken Urges Israel to Change Tactics in Gaza.” According to the article it stated that the Biden Administration officials want Gaza civilians protected and were pushing for precision strikes only by the Israeli air force. The Biden Administration was pressuring Israel to modify its plans for the next phase of its campaign to better protect civilians. Behind this it would seem was the fact that the US was getting criticism from the International community for giving too much support for Israel.
Then on 30th November a headline read; “Blinken Urges Israel to Avoid Excessive Civilian Losses in Southern Gaza.” He stated that it must not be like the northern campaign which saw the loss of civilian life. Because of the extreme pressure from the US government under Biden and Blinken on Israel’s leaders the Southern IDF soldiers and their commanders are already fighting without adequate air support that they did have in the north. Biden and Blinken are in fact telling Israel how to fight their war!
Then on 24th December it was reported that Biden was putting pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to protect Gaza civilians, discussing ‘phasing’ the war and scaling back the offensive in Gaza. Now Israel is totally dependent on the US for munitions and in around 2014 when Obama was the US President, in the middle of the Israeli war with Gaza at that time he withheld defensive rockets that Israel needed in order to shoot the Islamic Jihadist’s rockets out of the air. Obama endangered Israel not to mention the 2015 Uranium nuclear deal he brokered with the Iranian regime!
Israelis for the most part do not seem to realise how much they are tied to the ‘whims’ of an American Administration that, like Obama did, can if they want, withhold munitions from Israel they need to fight this current war with Gaza and that would endanger Israel. Biden says he supports Israel but with ‘strings attached.’ In other words; “Do what I say!”
Finally on 1st January 2024 it was reported that Biden pressured PM Netanyahu to reduce air strikes in Gaza and only focus on targeted operations. Clearly the Biden Administration cares more about how they look in the eyes of the International community instead of caring about Israel’s welfare and security by getting rid of the evil axis of power that is Hamas that wants to see Jihad spread through the nations, especially in the western democracies which already have Islamic ‘Trojan Horses’ entrenched in their cities. America should be supporting Israel in their endeavours to eradicate Hamas and not be the means of putting restraints on Israel that makes it hard for the Israelis to fight and destroy the evil and whole culture of Hamas which not only exists in Gaza but also in Judea and Samaria and other places in the Middle East.
The Israelis may take out Hamas’ leaders as they have just done to Saleh Arouri, a top official with the Palestinian militant group Hamas, but there will only be others to take their place. What needs to happen is for the Israelis to have an offensive that sees continuous air strikes to eradicate the enclaves of Hamas and then after that send in the IDF soldiers into those areas bombed to take out any remaining terrorists. Bunker Buster bombs would most certainly destroy the Labyrinth of Hamas tunnels underground.
A campaign conducted in this way would give the whole Islamic world the message that it does not pay to mess with Israel and that Israel will not tolerate the education of kindergarten children to kill Jews. In saying this it is not an easy decision for the Israeli military to make in light of the hostage situation and as New Covenant Bible believers we need to be praying that the LORD will supernaturally show the IDF where the hostages are being held or that one of the terrorists surrendering might even tell the IDF where the hostages are being held. Of course there is no information as to how many of the hostages are still alive.
The time is coming when the only safe place for the Jewish people will be to live in Israel. Even though the Time of Jacob’s Trouble will happen, which will see Israel attacked from all sides, God’s people will survive. After the Lord Jesus has come back to destroy all opposition and to inaugurate the Messianic kingdom of God on earth His people will co-reign with the Messiah sitting on David’s throne at Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:1-5).
Those Arabs who believe in killing Jews should live in countries that agree with killing Jews and destroying Israel. Why is it that countries like Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Qatar and Turkey, all Islamic countries that are against Israel, do not take in the Arabs from Gaza? Well these countries know full well that to take the Gazan Arabs in they would be importing the same terrorist mentality that already exists in Gaza. Islam is not united and Muslims kill each other and the leaders of these Middle Eastern countries know this.
To conclude, God said to Abraham that those who bless him bless his descendants as well which is clearly supported and endorsed in other passages of God’s Word being the people of Israel through the lineage of Isaac and Jacob, and not through the lineage of Ishmael and Esau (Genesis 17:19-22). These blessings included the whole land of Israel to be for the Jewish people as “an everlasting possession” (Genesis 17:7-8). God Himself called the Jewish people by the name of Israel through the Patriarch Jacob (Genesis 32:28).
Those who curse or revile Israel will themselves be cursed or be bound under a curse with no way out! The Biden Administration by trying to ‘bargain’ with Israel and manipulate the Israeli government into making ‘concessions’ with Hamas is putting Israel in harm’s way. Most of the civilians in Gaza are Pro-Hamas supporters. We have all seen the videos of ‘citizens’ dancing and celebrating in the streets of Gazan cities when Israel’s have been murdered. They even celebrated after the October 7th genocidal butchery, and there were Gazan Arab civilians that also took part in that massacre.
The Biden Administration in dealing with Israel like they are doing is bringing down upon their own heads the judgement of God because by not fully supporting Israel in their strategy to eliminate Hamas they are in fact showing that they do not have Israel’s interests and security at heart. What has come upon Israel at this present time will also come upon American cities and upon all the cities of those nations, especially those in the UN and the EU, that will not go to Israel’s aid against Hamas and Hezbollah, and against all of those Islamic Jihad minded terrorist groups that want to kill Jews and see Israel destroyed as a nation. God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel! Israel is the apple of God’s Eye and the wife of Yahweh and those who mess with Israel mess with God Himself!
