A top Priority?
Yesterday on Sunday February 4th a headline appeared in the Online Jewish Publication “HAARETZ” which read; “Turkey’s Erdogan: Jerusalem Is ‘My Top Priority’ in Meeting with Pope Francis.” The sub-header quoted Erdogan. “The Pope and myself are at one on Jerusalem,” the Turkish president states as he calls for the whole world to ‘recognize the State of Palestine.’ The article went on to say; “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has publicly expressed on numerous occasions his outrage over U.S. President Donald Trump’s momentous December 6 declaration acknowledging Jerusalem to be Israel’s capital, amped up his rhetoric against Washington’s recent move in an interview released Sunday by Italian daily La Stampa. Speaking about his upcoming visit to Italy and the Vatican, where he is slated to meet Pope Francis, the Turkish president stressed that first and foremost on his agenda was the issue of the contested city. “My top priority is Jerusalem,” he said.” “The pope and myself are at one on Jerusalem.”
Achieving his goal
There is no doubt that Erdogan of Turkey is the ‘globe-trotting’ self-appointed Caliph of a future revived Turkish Ottoman Empire and a past master of Taqiyya, the Islamic art of lying and deception especially in the time of Jihad. There is no doubt Erdogan of Turkey has an agenda to see a Turkish Ottoman Caliphate of global proportions dominating the nations of the world. He knows that Jerusalem is sacred to the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims and that gaining Jerusalem and the Temple Mount is germane to establishing his global empire if he can. Added to this he wants the support of the Muslim world. If he could gain control of the Temple Mount then he would achieve his goal. The whole Islamic world would more than likely hail him as the promised Mahdi of Islam! No doubt He would not turn down the accolades and divine titles that Islam has already bestowed on the coming Mahdi.
Deception is the name of the game
Erdogan of Turkey has to get the leaders of Christendom to go along with his agenda as well and this is why he is molly coddling the Pope. Already the Pope has forsaken Israel and the Biblical mandate that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and has been for over 3,000 years. The Pope does not recognize that according to the Bible God Himself has put His name in Jerusalem and that the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are the inheritors of the Land of Israel, not the descendants of Ishmael and Esau, the fathers of the Arab nations. Erdogan of Turkey has made it clear that he wants to see a global Islamic Caliphate governed by Sharia law and the Koran. To do this he has to eliminate Jews and Christians. If he has to deceive the Pope as to his real intentions then he will do this. One way Erdogan of Turkey can push forward his agenda for a global Caliphate is to champion the cause for a Palestinian state. This is what he is up to!
Into the jaws of islam
The Pope cannot see that if Erdogan sets up a Turkish Embassy in East Jerusalem then this will be the next stepping stone to gaining for himself the Temple Mount and from there revealing his true agenda to be worshipped as God on earth. Added to this he will start a ruthless campaign to kill Christians and Jews wherever they are found in his empire. Institutional Christendom is already travelling down the slippery road of apostasy, ecumenism and interfaith and it is only a matter of time before it falls into the jaws of the lion of Islam.
A practitioner of the occult
When you look at the rhetoric and actions of Erdogan of Turkey it could well be that he is the prime candidate for the man of sin whom the Bible says will be in reality a practitioner of the occult whose ultimate goal is to be worshipped as God in God’s Temple both in Israel also within Christendom. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) What ‘a crafty fellow’ Erdogan of Turkey might well turn out to be in the end! If Erdogan of Turkey is the man of sin, most probably Satan has not as yet entered into him. He actually comes from a Sufi Muslim backgound. Sufi Islam is the mystical branch of Islam and through corporate repetitious chanting become demon possessed. I have seen the videos and it is a real eye-opener concerning this mystical branch of Islam. If you have ever been to Turkey and seen the Whirling Dervishes dancing in unison they are Sufi Muslims.
A king of firece countenance
It would seem that in the very near future that the man from Turkey may well turn out to be; “the king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences (a practitioner of occult power and wisdom), and his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power (but by Satanic power): and he shall destroy to an extraordinary degree, (attacking the mightiest of fortresses with the help of his foreign god Allah) and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.(persecuting faithful and uncompromising Jews and Christians) And through his policy (Koranic law) also he shall cause craft (satanic deception) to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart (thinking himself to be God), and by peace (Taqiyya-lying and deception) shall destroy many.” But the text goes on to say; “he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes (the Lord Jesus); But he will be broken (shattered and destroyed) but not by human agency.”(Daniel 3:23-25) (Comments in brackets added for clarity) God’s power will destroy him in the end! (Daniel 11:45)
He will come to his end
Antichrist will reign from Jerusalem for three and a half years and then, for the sake of His elect saints and Israel as a nation, the Lord Jesus will come back to rapture and resurrect faithful believers, rescue the surviving remnant of Israel, destroy Antichrist and his forces at Jerusalem and inaugurate the Millennial Kingdom on earth. If we belong to the Lord Jesus and support Israel then we will be there at Jerusalem in our glorified bodies fighting side by side with Israel’s Messiah our Lord Jesus along with the surviving remnant of Israel. In that day the Lord Jesus will be KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS and we will all co-reign with Him on earth in His Millennial Kingdom from the City of Jerusalem, the city He loves and the city He has chosen to put His name there. (2 Chronicles 6:6)
