In the time of Nebuchadnezzar there was a faithful remnant that worshipped the LORD exclusively and would not worship any other god. While the majority of the Jewish people went along with the prevailing religious, socio-economic and political system this faithful remnant refused to compromise their commitment to the LORD and to His Word.
