According to a report in the BBC News online earlier this week it was reported that Iran has rejected a joint statement by the leaders of France, Germany and the UK who blamed it for attacks earlier this month on Saudi oil installations. Iran’s foreign minister accused them of “parroting absurd US claims”. The European leaders said there was no other plausible explanation for the attacks, which shut down half of Saudi Arabia’s oil production. But they said they remained committed to the 2015 international deal on Iran’s nuclear programme.” The irony is that France has just pledged a $150 billion dollar bail out for Iran to help alleviate the sanctions being made against Iran preventing them from exporting their oil.
There is no doubt that Iran is a sponsor of global terror. Iran is fighting a proxy war through Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi rebels. The Saudis are in panic mode if the truth be known and undoubtedly talks between the Saudis and the United States Government has resulted in the United States sending arms and troops into Saudi Arabia. It was reported earlier this month in the CBS News online that Billboards with the slogans “Death to America — Death to Israel” appeared in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad in recent days. There were at least five of the large signs in central Baghdad, some less than a mile from the U.S. Embassy, the Iraqi presidential palace and the national government’s headquarters. The signs appeared to be part of a campaign by Iran, carried out through proxy groups that directly threaten U.S. troops in Iraq, to demonstrate its strength and reach in the region as tension between Washington and Tehran threatened to explode into conflict.”
These slogans were first expressed by the Iranian leader some time ago in a YouTube video where he was speaking to a large audience of Iranian men and preaching to them hate and violence against America and Israel. After he had stirred them up they started to cry out “death to America, death to Israel!” Clearly Iran has Israel, America, Saudi Arabia, and even Europe in their missile sights! All they need is to develop their nuclear capability. The irony in this whole scenario of an Iranian nuclear deal is that the powers in Europe want to continue dealing with Iran in this matter. It has ‘overtones’ of what happened just prior to WW2 when Germany was arming themselves to start a war. Winston Churchill saw what was coming for America and Europe and European Jews went to America to warn congress but they did not listen! Prime Minister Netanyahu also warned the UN some years ago now of Iran’s agenda but the UN has not listened.
A time is coming when Iran will hit Saudi Arabia (Isaiah 21:1-2; 34:6-10) (Jeremiah 49:21) When this happens if American troops are stationed there it will be an act of war by Iran against the United States, a war that Iran seems to indicate publically for the media that they do not really want but in reality they want it. Israel realises what is going on with Iran but the last thing Israel needs is infighting and political upheaval among the members of the Knesset as the race continues for the top Job in Israel.
According to the Bible there is a powerful principality (demonic spirit) over Iran driving the Ayatollahs to start a war. (Daniel 10:12-14, 20) Why Europe would even want to continue making a nuclear deal with the Iranian regime defies imagination? However, where money, greed, power, prestige and oil is concerned the bureaucrats in the EU care little it seems for the welfare of Israel and America for that matter but only for lining their own pockets. Boris Johnson wants BREXIT to happen but there are already moves in the British parliament to remove him. The EU wants total control over Europe. Do Macron of France and Merkel of Germany think that Iran will not send missiles to Europe? Do they think that Iran will decrease their proxy war against Israel and the west and the Saudis? What about Macron of France offering Iran a $150 billion bail out to enable that rogue nation to continue developing nuclear capability?
Undoubtedly there are principalities of dark sinister powers in high places positioning the nations for an all-out war as we see described in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 9:13-19) The light at the end of this long dark tunnel is the return of the Lord Jesus whose return He Himself described when He said; “For as the lightening comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.” (Matthew 24: 27-28) Today the whole world is like “a rotting carcass” spiritually. The “vultures” of wicked leaders and demonic spirits are more active now that at any other time in history.
The Lord Jesus also said; “For then there will be great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equalled again. “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22) In the end the only hope for humanity will be the Second Coming of the Messiah our Lord Jesus. When He comes back He will sort everything out and that big time! For those who believe in the Lord Jesus and obey Him it will be their best dream come true but for those who will not belive in the Lord Jesus and refuse to obey Him it will be their worst nightmare!
