“Who is like the beast, and who can make war against him?”(Revelation 13:4b)
We are at War!
On September 17, 2001, just days after the September 11 attacks on the twin towers in New York, President George W. Bush delivered a speech at the Islamic Center of Washington. This speech aimed to address the rising so called “Islamophobia” and clarify the distinction between Islam and terrorism.
Bush stated, “Islam is peace,” emphasizing that the acts of terrorism committed by al-Qaeda did not represent the true faith of Islam. He condemned the violence against innocents, asserting that such actions violate the fundamental tenets of Islam. Bush highlighted the valuable contributions of Muslims in America, noting that they are doctors, lawyers, and members of the military, deserving of respect.
Supposedly Bush’s remarks were made to help reduce hate crimes against Muslims in the U.S. following the attack on 9/11. His message supposedly was aimed to foster understanding and respect among different faiths, reinforcing that the majority of Muslims are peaceful and do not support terrorism, a fatal mistake being made by western political leaders and no doubt by George W. Bush. On the surface he was trying to shift the blame for the destruction of the twin Towers on terrorists, while it seems not understanding or even perceiving the real nature of Islam being the globalization of Islam.
The naivety of George W. Bush was clear in that he did not seem to realise, or chose not to realise, was that the Islamic world had just openly declared war on America and the western democracies. Today 24 years later Islam is waging an all-out war against all non-Muslim nations.
Islam’s Real Agenda
There are various verses in the Koran that promote violence against all non-Muslims. In defence of this Muslims will tell you that there are also verses in the Koran promoting peace and tolerance towards Jews and non-Muslims. What they do not tell you is that the later verses added to the Koran commanding violence against all Jews and non-Muslims abrogate the earlier verses about peace and tolerance towards them.
In every Muslim country today non-Muslims, Jews and Christians are persecuted to a greater or lesser degree and in some Islamic countries ruled by Sharia law non-Muslims are murdered. It also has been said when Muslims are not killing infidels (non- Muslims) that they go to killing one another.
Islam’s real global agenda is clearly revealed in the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood which is behind the Jihad agenda of Islam. There are ten things that reveal the actual agenda and nature of the Muslim Brotherhood.
1. Sayyid Qutb, one of the movement’s key ideologues, helped direct the Brotherhood into a more radical and violent direction after 1948 when Israel was reborn as a nation. He also hated the western value system and also called for violence against Muslims who in his estimation had compromised with the western democracies. For example we see this revealed today in that Iran hates Saudi Arabia for this reason.
2. The Brotherhood’s worldview is hostile to moderate Muslims, religious minorities, women, LGBTQ, and liberal democratic values. 3. Antisemitism is woven deeply into the Muslim Brotherhood’s worldview. 4. Hamas is an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood. 5. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have long banned the Muslim Brotherhood as a threat to the stability of their regimes. 6. Qatar is a leading supporter and exporter of Muslim Brotherhood ideology.
7. Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is a champion of the Muslim Brotherhood. 8. The Muslim Brotherhood’s tactics are diverse and adaptable, shifting to fit the local political landscape it inhabits. Muslims are past masters of the Islamic practice of taqiyya. This practice is permitted by their ‘god’ where a Muslim can give misinformation or disinformation to an enemy in a time of Jihad or when they are threatened. It is the Islamic practice of deception. They will show submissiveness until they have the upper hand and then strike withe deadly swiftness of a poison adder. 9. Europe is the Muslim Brotherhood’s “domain of preaching.” 10. The Muslim Brotherhood has had a deep influence on Iran’s clerical regime.
This war with the west is not being fought on the battlefield where in past history the armies of Islam under the Turkish Ottoman Caliphate clashed with the armies of western Christendom on and off lasting for centuries until the last open battle between the Turkish Ottoman Empire with the western allies in WW1 when the Turkish Ottoman Caliphate that had lasted for 600 years, was defeated and disbanded.
It would seem that the “Beast Empire” of Islam had received what seemed to be “a fatal wound” (Revelation 13:3). Today the same beast empire has been “resurrected” (Revelation 13:11-12) and they are fighting a guerrilla war against non-Muslims, Jews and Christians and those Muslim countries considered as apostates because of their compromise with Islamic values by adopting many of the western values, customs and life styles.

While we see America, China, North Korea and Russia “sabre rattling” and moving towards a war the empire that is already a global phenomenon is the empire of Islam. At present they lack a leader to unite them. However, when the Islamic Antichrist arises to resurrect the Caliphate of the Turkish Ottoman Empire the Islamic nations will rally to his war banner. They will accept him as their prophesied long awaited final Mahdi of Islam to lead them on their global Jihad, a war which was openly declared with the destruction of the Twin Towers on 9/11.
Now we need to ask the question “how is Islam waging their global Jihad and by what means are they achieving this agenda?” Why does it say in Revelation 13:4B “Who is like the beast, and who can make against him?” Let’s look at this…
The Islamic “Trojan Horse”
Now the real threat to the western democracies is the Islamic “Trojan Horse.” The Trojan horse is a famous story from Greek mythology about a large wooden horse used by the Greeks to enter the city of Troy during the Trojan War. Greek soldiers hid inside the horse, and when the Trojans brought it into their city, the Greeks emerged at night to defeat them, ending the war. The Greeks knew that the city could not be taken militarily so they constructed the huge wooden horse supposedly as a gift to the Trojans.
The Trojan’s thought that the Greeks had given up when they saw their armies leaving. The people of Troy opened the gates bringing the wooden horse inside and then the whole city went to celebrating their supposed victory thinking that the Greeks had given up and were actually honouring the Trojans with a supposed gift of friendship and acceptance of Troy.
When the citizens of Troy by and large were drunk and the soldiers of Troy no longer watchful the Greek soldiers hidden inside of the hollow belly of the horse in the dead of night opened the hatch under the belly of the horse and slid down on ropes and opened the gates of the city and the Greeks poured in to take the city, and Troy fell.
The fall came because of the enemy infiltrating the city by stealth and deception pretending to honour the Trojans with a gift which turned out to be the means by which Troy fell. It was not the enemy without that caused the downfall of Troy but those within the city hidden from sight but whose intent was to see the Trojans destroyed.
Today Islam has a path of conquest which they have used down through the centuries that is always the same when they cannot overcome an enemy by a front on battle. The western democracies are being invaded by Islam through infiltration and immigration. It is in reality the Islamic “Trojan Horse.”
Taqiyyah
Today the whole world is facing an enemy that sanctions deception and giving out misinformation and disinformation to a sworn enemy in a time of Jihad the practice of concealing one’s belief and foregoing ordinary religious duties when under threat of death or injury. Western politicians do not understand the mindset of this Islamic practice which Muslim leaders use in dealing with western politicians to mask the real agenda, namely, the global spread of Islam into non-Islamic nations.
There are specific methods that Muslims use to spread Islam in non-Islamic countries. Whether it is Germany, France, Great Britain, Canada, America and other nations on the European continent as well as including Australia and New Zealand, they are all being targeted by Islamic expansionism. Lets’ look briefly at these methods…
1. Immigrate
Muslims love to immigrate to western democracies because they know that they and their children will fare much better socially and economically than they would by staying in their own countries. However, radical Jihadist Muslims also know that through migration they can take advantage of the social security system and place themselves in positions at every level of society. Many of these are taxi drivers, cleaners, teachers, university professors, business men, politicians, government officials, bankers and even in the military forces. Some are your local neighbours. Also in western democracies you have politicians elected to those offices by the people. Immigration is one of the major ways Muslims are spreading Islam within non-Islamic countries.
2. Establish a Mosque
Today there are many Mosques located all over Great Britain, once the bastion of western Biblical Christianity and missionary endeavour, being built in England and in other European countries. In many of these Mosques the Islamic clergy are calling for the establishment of Islamic customs and law, usually Sharia Law. Many of their clergy in their religious services in the local Mosque say one thing in English but the opposite in Arabic. Many are calling for Islamic law to be established. This is a practice widespread in Islamic societies. While many churches in the western democracies are dying numerically and spiritually, Islam is spreading and gaining momentum in the same nations. In Germany, France and in other European nations more Mosques are being built than churches.
3. Grow the Population
Muslims have lots of children and many Muslim men marry western women and have children by them. If you have enough children born in a western democratic nation then over time you will have enough Muslims who become eligible to vote. One needs to keep in mind that there is no Philosophical Islam and fundamentalist Islam, there is just Islam! We see this exemplified in the creed of the Muslim Brotherhood which is embraced by all Muslims in relation to Jihad and the expansion of Islam into non-Islamic countries. The creed states; “Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
4. Create an Enclave
Across Europe today Islamic extremists are stepping up the creation of “no-go” areas or “zones” in European cities that are off-limits to non-Muslims. Many of the “no-go” zones function as microstates governed by Islamic Sharia law. Host-country authorities effectively have lost control in these areas and in many instances are unable to provide even basic public aid such as police, fire fighting, social services and ambulance services.
The “no-go” areas are the by-product of decades of multicultural policies that have encouraged Muslim immigrants to create parallel societies and remain segregated rather than become integrated into their European host nations. As Muslims procreate in these enclaves they spread in society over time.
In France, Germany and in Great Britain there are Muslim gangs that think it is their right to rape western women. This is a practice becoming an epidemic in other European countries as well. Enclaves for the most part become the breeding ground of potential terrorists. Young Muslim men and even young children and teenagers are indoctrinated within the confines of these enclaves to become radicalized Muslims as they are being groomed to become terrorists.
Many of these radicalised young Muslims are the ones leading the protests against Israel. In many western nations now they are active in Universities, on college campuses and in schools and other educational institutions and are past masters in arousing the anger of young people to protest who are naive and ignorant where the real agenda of Islam is concerned.
Today these protests are all to do with Israel. No one protests over the genocide in Nigeria, the Sudan and in other Muslim countries on the African continent where thousands of Christians and other non-Islamic minorities are killed and where Muslims are killing Muslims. “Israel bashing” is the name of the game today. What about the massacres in Syria of the Druze, the Alawites, the Kurds and the Christians by rogue Islamic Bedouins and by the military forces of Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, also known by his nom de guerre Abu Mohammad al-Julani, the so called self-proclaimed President of Syria.
Often you can see protests in the streets of western democracies where the police seem to be reluctant to control the mobs protesting and only when these protests turn violent do the police take action, and I dare say even with some reluctance. A Christian can be arrested by the police in Britain or Canada for preaching the gospel on the street corner or a Christian women standing outside of an abortion clinic praying for the women inside and find herself arrested and prosecuted, whereas a radicalised Muslim can preach anarchy and not be arrested. Islamic enclaves are springing up in virtually all of the western democracies.
5. Claim Victimization
The term “Islamophobia” is being touted by many radical Muslims who protest against the authorities that they are being ‘victimized’ because they are Muslims. Tragically many political leaders, if the truth be known, are scared of Islamic expansion in their nations and seek to placate them by branding non-Muslims who speak up about Islamic aggression against non-Muslims. Many Muslims knowing their rights as citizens will seek to use the law to defend their actions because they are living in a democracy.
The current Prime Minister of Great Britain has publically supported the Muslims living in England and seemingly ignoring the growing number of radicalised young Muslims preaching violence and leading mobs in riots seeking to disrupt the government so that it will pull back on dealing with these radicalised Muslims. This is the reality! The western democracies are under siege by Islam today. The Islamic “Trojan Horse” is well ensconced within European cities and growing and spreading to Canada, America, Australia and New Zealand.
The hostility and oppression Israel is experiencing at the hands of Islamic terrorism is coming to the west, especially to those nations that are accusing Israel of genocide and the violation of human rights when Israel is defending itself against an implacable enemy hell-bent on Israel’s annihilation, as any sovereign country would do if attacked. The Islamic vehemence and violence being perpetrated by Islam against Israel is coming to the western nations not supporting Israel.
The United Nations, the European Union, Canada, and especially France and Great Britain are all uniting in their condemnation of Israel fuelled by the lies of the mainstream media. In Australia the Australian Prime Minister has joined hands with the Palestinian Authority to promote the two-state solution from hell, which for decades has orchestrated violence against Israel. Islam will always claim they are being victimised in the western democracies where they are living and weak western governments side with them by agreeing with them that “Islamophobia” is definitely the problem.
6. Resist Authorities
One just has to watch on the internet the violent riots being perpetrated in many cities in the west today. Cars are firebombed, shops are looted, and innocent bystanders are beaten up on the streets. Stones and Molotov cocktails are being thrown at Police and in most of the cases in these riots we see today are in relation to Jew hatred and against Israel and for the establishment of a so called ‘Palestinian’ state. What we saw in the early 30’s in Europe when the Nazis persecuted the Jewish population even before WW2 started in 1939 is now happening on a global scale in cities across the world.
Anarchy is the way that radicalised Islamic Jihad-minded Muslims are seeking to break down the laws governing western democracies so that over time Sharia law can be implemented and established. When you look at the protests and riots which today are primarily against Israel, they are also designed and in many cases orchestrated by radicalised Muslims wanting to see lawful authority replaced by strict Islamic law and customs.
7. Exploit Lawfare
Lawfare can be defined in this way broadly speaking. It is often discussed in the context of national security and political conflicts. It can involve both judicial and non-judicial tactics, such as exploiting legal compliance gaps to pressure adversaries. Lawfare represents a complex intersection of law and conflict, highlighting how legal mechanisms can be employed in both constructive and destructive ways. However, where Islam is concerned a radicalised Muslim could use it against those who speak out against Islam.
Today in the western democracies you have many Muslims in government positions and in law firms who are able to use the law to prosecute those deemed to be proponents of Islamophobia or other criticisms of Islam. The law can be used to prosecute any who seek to show the true colours of Islam.
Today in a growing number of countries including Great Britain and Australia there are laws in place that militate against telling the truth about Islam or other false religions. The day will come when those who seek to point out the real agenda of Islam will be liable to possible legal action against them. As yet this is not widespread, however as western political leaders introduce legislation banning freedom of speech and religion and seek to placate Islam we will see an increase in legal proceedings.
8. Institute Sharia Law
To institute Sharia law is to organize; establish and to initiate a system of Islamic law enforcement which can only happen when there has been a dismantling of a former system of law and governance. While we already see this in the Islamic enclaves in the no go zones being established within the western democracies, these still can have Sharia law without interference by the authorities. In growing situations within wider Europe the political leaders are overlooking this form of Islamic law. They have one set of laws for their non-Islamic citizens but allow another form of law for Muslims.
Muslims are able to wait patiently until they have the upper hand in a situation or when seeking to conquer a nation. They can show subservience but show their true intentions when those who govern over them no longer have the power to enforce that power. This is the ultimate goal of Islam. The history of Islam since it immerged in the seventh century has shown this to be true.
It is the ideology of the sword as we see crossed scimitars pointing upwards on all Islamic banners flags and literature. It is also a governmental system, an economic system, a way of life, a military power with an expansionist mindset and agenda, and where religion is a component of this six-headed “Hydra.”
9. Secede
To secede or a secession attempt might be violent or peaceful, but the goal is the creation of a new state or entity independent of the group or territory from which it seceded. We see this exemplified in the American Civil War. In the case of Islam, once it has taken root in a country, having embraced its culture and customs and to a degree submitted to its laws and governance, it will patiently remain in that state of existence while at the same time working undercover to overthrow the lawful government in order to establish Sharia Law.
When the Antichrist arises on the world stage, of whom on historical and Biblical grounds I am persuaded will be Islamic, he will call for a global Jihad binding on all Muslims and this is a nightmare to consider when we see what Islam is doing today within the nations of the world especially in non-Muslim countries.
While western politicians are “Israel bashing” these political leaders as yet do not realise or do not want to realise that Islam will do the same thing to their countries as it is doing to Israel. In light of 9/11 what really went through the thinking of President Bush when he made his public speech after that terrible atrocity perpetrated by Islamic terrorists? Islam is against the Jews, the Christians and the infidels (all non-Islamic people). One of their Jihadist creeds is; “We kill Jews on Saturdays and kill Christians on Sundays.”
In 2015 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan put it this way when he said; “The minarets are our bayonets, the domes are the helmets, the mosques are our barracks, the believers are the soldiers!” Today Turkey is becoming a major player on the stage of Middle-Eastern politics, and once again Erdoğan calling for the whole Islamic world to unite in a global attack on Israel that may well see the Ezekiel 38 invasion of Israel led by Turkey occur which scripture affirms.
The way the situation is heading in the Middle-East and in many non-Muslim nations today we can see a global beast empire being resurrected in the second beast empire of Revelation chapter thirteen. It is in fact the first beast empire being resurrected in the second beast empire. It is the one and the same empire.
When the Islamic Jihad commences on a global scale you will find many so called ‘moderate’ ‘law binding’ citizens in the western democracies that will suddenly turn against their non-Islamic neighbours with whom they have been living and working with side by side. Sleeper cells will be activated in many cities. Even now we see educated Islamic politicians moving into key positions in government and establishing political parties in Europe, Great Britain, America, and Canada and in Australia and New Zealand. Ultimately it will see churches and synagogues destroyed and Islam being forced on Christians and Jews.
Islam is an expansionist empire as history affirms. Many countries that were not Islamic were conquered by Islam and became part of the Islamic empire. Conquest by the sword is always Islam’s agenda.
We can list some of the countries that became Islamic. Afghanistan was once Buddhist. Pakistan was once Hindu. Syria was once Christian. Lebanon was once Christian. Iran was once Zoastrian. Morocco was once Christian. Iraq was once Christian, Jewish and Zoastrian. Turkey was once Tengrist and Christian. Uzbekistan was once Zoastrian. Somalia was once Waadad. Tigryzstan was once Tengriism and Jordan was once Polytheistic, Jewish and Christian.
And so our text reads; “Who is like the beast, and who can make against him?”
How do you fight an enemy that that dress like civilians and fights behind women and children to commit acts of terror and violence that use private houses to install rocket launchers and that has a cache of weapons stored in the basements of hospitals, schools and educational institutions, and builds tunnels under civilian populated areas?
How do you fight an enemy that is a past master of taqiyya when interacting with western political leaders? How do you fight an enemy who thinks nothing of putting their finger on the button of a missile with a nuclear warhead and to die in Jihad? How do you fight the Islamic “Trojan Horse” entrenched in every western country, especially on the European Continent at every level of society?
The Islamic beast empire will wage a war unlike any war in past history and never to be waged again (Revelation 9:13-19). It will be against some non-Islamic nations that will be powerful enough to resist but these nations will be few and hard-pressed to stop the relentless power of this beast empire as it conquers many Middle-Eastern nations and whose tentacles will reach into much of Europe. Israel will be in the middle (Daniel 11:36-45). The war in reality will be waged against the Messiah our Lord Jesus; however, it will be a war that the Antichrist and his armies will not win!
Having said all of this the final war against Satan, the Antichrist and the false prophet will be fought by the Messiah accompanied by His powerful angels, the raptured and resurrected saints and the remnant of Israel. (Zechariah 14:14) (Jude 1:14-15) (2 Thessalonians 1:6-9).
It will be a judgement on the Islamic world because of what they have done to Israel and to the Body of Messiah, the faithful Church spiritually grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel. As the prophet Obadiah proclaims the Word of the LORD to the nations that have attacked Israel and her spiritual offspring the faithful Body of Messiah; “The Day of the LORD is near for the nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head” (Obadiah 1:15).
A terrible judgement is coming upon the Islamic world which will culminate with the Second Coming of the Messiah.
The prophet Isaiah writes…
“For the LORD’s indignation is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to slaughter. So their slain will be thrown out, And their corpses will give off their stench, And the mountains will be drenched with their blood. And all the host of heaven will wear away, And the sky will be rolled up like a scroll; All their hosts will also wither away As a leaf withers from the vine, Or as one withers from the fig tree.
For My sword is satiated in heaven, Behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom And upon the people whom I have devoted to destruction. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, It is sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
Wild oxen will also fall with them And young bulls with strong ones; Thus their land will be soaked with blood, And their dust become greasy with fat. For the LORD has a day of vengeance, A year of recompense for the cause of Zion. Its streams will be turned into pitch, And its loose earth into brimstone, And its land will become burning pitch. It will not be quenched night or day; its smoke will go up forever. From generation to generation it will be desolate; None will pass through it forever and ever” (Isaiah 34:2-10).

Epilogue:
In closing it needs also to be said that the Messiah our Lord Jesus is saving millions of Muslims in the Islamic world today as our Triune God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and saving faith in the Messiah (2 Peter 3:9) (1 Timothy 2:4). However, those nations whose armies attack Israel in defiance of the living Triune God will experience a destruction never seen before in the history of the world. The blood of those armies slain that have attacked Israel will flow outside of the city of Jerusalem for 180 miles and as high as a horses bridle (Revelation 14:17-20).
Islam will be gone forever!
The question remains; “Who is like the beast, and who can make war against him?” The answer is only the Messiah on the White Horse accompanied by the armies of heaven and the glorified saints and the surviving remnant of Israel also saved by the blood of Messiah (Revelation 17:12-14).
As it is also written…
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.”
And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh” (Revelation 19:11-21).
As the apostle John writes concerning the final words of the resurrected Messiah our Lord Jesus for His Body the faithful Assembly…
“He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen” (Revelation 22:20-21).
