Today Islam is waging war with the west. If anything clearly showed this it was the destruction of the Twin Towers in New York on September 11, 2001. Since that time we have seen Islamic terrorist attacks consistently occurring on a global scale. However, Islam’s real war with the west is not being waged just through military confrontation.
There are many now in western society cheering over the seemingly peace plan being brokered primarily by President Trump seeing Muslim nations aligning with Israel, however, the war with Iran and its proxies is not over. We have a so called ceasefire with a Presidential seal on it and a move towards bringing the peace deal into a reality.
Well the war isn’t over. The so called ceasefire is just a milestone in the so called ‘peace treaty’ as Iran is still rebuilding its nuclear programme and making no secret of its ambitions. Hezbollah in Lebanon are still actively seeking Israel’s destruction.
Hamas in Gaza are still refusing to lay down their weapons and are breaking the ceasefire agreement while playing for time by not sending back all the remaining bodies of the Israelis killed in the October 7, 2023 massacre. Then you have the Houthis militancy towards Israel and they are not going away anytime soon!
The greater war Islam is waging is with the western democracies. It is a war between civilization and barbarism, between Islam and Judeo-Christianity and the western democratic way of life, and a war between Israel with the whole Muslim world.
Outwardly Islam’s war takes its most obvious and violent form in the likes of Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, al-Qaeda and the other terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq actively perpetrating terrible atrocities. There is no doubt that the Muslim Brotherhood supports this violent militancy.
A Hidden War
The same idea of expanding Islam globally is being more cleverly and subtly promoted by the same Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East and around the world globally such as The Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The organisation claims to be “the collective voice of the Muslim world” and they say works to “safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony.”
However, Islam at the core of its ideology is not a religion of peace, but the collective ideology of conquest by the sword and the subjugation of the non-Muslim world to Islam.
Israel’s continuing war with Hamas that is funded by the Muslim Brotherhood and Qatar also a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, is only a part of a bigger and hidden conflict.
October 7, 2023 was the trigger that unleashed dormant and camouflaged forces that boosted the Muslim Brotherhood’s global agenda to see Islam established in every nation and that not by open violence, but by subterfuge, by stealth, and through infiltration of society at every level.
Many Islamic charitable organizations today are financially supported by the Muslim Brotherhood as are many civil servants and politicians within western governments in their respective political arenas.
Since the October 7, 2023 massacre Islamists have brazenly occupied the streets of many American, European, Australian, Canadian cities and doing it openly. Hundreds and thousands of Muslims are occupying public places conducting mass prayer gatherings out in the streets because they can get away with it and the government of these western democracies do not interfere.
It would seem that western governments are not “hearing” what Muslims are actually saying. Just listen to the sermons being preached in mostly Arabic language on Fridays in Mosques all around the western world and in other non-European languages. Sedition and anarchy are the main themes of these sermons.
Some Islamic clergy when being interviewed on social media will on some occasions, as a slip of the tongue, show their real agenda namely to dominate and control of western countries and they are not backward or shy in achieving it.
The Muslim Brotherhood
The Muslim Brotherhood has established various organizations in Western democracies that that focus on education, political lobbying, and charity, often under names that suggest broad representation or religious moderation.
These organizations aim to influence the growing Muslim populations in Europe and promote the Brotherhood’s ideology, while sometimes contradicting mainstream Western values.
This militant Islamic Organization was founded in Egypt in 1928. Since then the movement has spread and multiplied into a global network of loosely affiliated organizations. They do not have a global control centre as such or headquarters located in a certain city or country. However, its influence in society is spreading in many nations including western democracies.
They method of operating in various nations is to take over institutions in all fields of endeavour, organizations and eventually entire societies from the ground up. They are very clever in doing this and like all radical Muslims they past masters at taqiyya.
They are not using violence or armed Jihad even though they support it. They can be likened to an Islamic “Trojan Horse.” Their approach is slow and patient. They effect generational change through the ballot box not through the bullet in contrast to Jihadist terror organizations they all of us are familiar with.
One of their goals is to implement Sharia Law in every country that has allowed them in. Many times they have come in as asylum seekers from strife ridden and underdeveloped countries, or through migration, especially where migration is not adequately policed or checked.
Their goal is Islamist domination over all others in the countries which have allowed them in. Today their forces are on the rise and infiltrating every level of society in both Middle-Eastern countries favourable to the west and within the western non-Islamic democracies.
They are politically organised and disciplined holding many key positions in western political circles. They are well funded. They have powerful mouthpieces in the social media circles, people that are gifted in speaking the kings English with eloquence and fluency.
They are highly motivated feeling that they are fulfilling some divine mandate. When asked about this “mandate” they will tell you their plan is from above and that they are just a messenger and someone fortunate enough to execute it wherever they are living and operating.
They are willing to endure hardship and to confront any opposition. Today they are not facing any serious global opposition. This is the hidden war the west is facing.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s philosophy is rooted in Sunni Islamism, emphasizing the establishment of a state governed by sharia law and promoting the Islamic vision of Pan-Islamism being a global focus. Its founder, Hassan al-Banna, advocated for political activism based on Islamic principles, aiming for the unity of the Muslim community (ummah) and the implementation of Islamic values in all aspects of life and levels in society.
Controlling Society
Islamists well ensconced in the west are taking control of labour and student unions, of academic facilities, of various non-profit and so called humanitarian organizations, over civil society organizations such as local government positions.
All around the world they disguise themselves as Muslim charities, educational institutes or welfare organizations with seemingly very benign intentions for widows and orphans and for the marginalised in society.
They are also operating on college campuses and funding them within Europe and the United States and wherever they can. Since October 7, 2023 the hidden war is rapidly being won through subterfuge, a deception with an end goal in view, namely the globalization of Islam and the implementation of Sharia Law.
They are targeting elite US and European Academic institutions and eroding their governing systems of their excellence with the help of radical elements within western society.
The recent demonstrations in major cities in Europe, in England, the United States, and Canada and in Australia over the situation in Gaza are prime examples of Islamic indoctrination and ideology.
The main stream media for the most part are fuelling this anti-Semitic activity with bias and filtered reporting that portrays Israel as “the bad guys.”
Islamists are driving anti-Semitism online and in the streets of most major western cities and democracies today. By this means they are forcing Jewish citizens to hide their identity and beliefs out of the fear of reprisals, bullying and violence.
What we saw happening across Europe in the early 30’s to the Jewish citizens by the Nazis is increasing in intensity and frequency in Europe, America, Canada, and Great Britain and in Australia.
Islamists are not like business organizations that are merit-based organizations where you have to be excellent in order to be successful. Islamists involved in this hidden war believe that local, State, and Federal Offices can be won over by persistent political operations. They are already in control of various American cities and local councils and are on the rise.
New York City for example has the largest Jewish population of any city in the United States. The Jewish community in NYC is diverse, encompassing various theological backgrounds, cultural practices, and languages. Estimates indicate that there are over 1.5 million Jews living in the metropolitan area, making it a significant cultural and religious centre for Judaism in America.
New Yorkers have just elected a new mayor of the city Zohran Mamdani, a radical Shia Muslim, who publically states his position. Listening to him speak there is an underlining militancy towards the Jews and western democracies and by a seemingly veiled agenda wanting to see Sharia law implemented in New York now that he has been elected the mayor of the city.
Many Muslims living in western society are holding down political offices and taking advantage of the socio-economic system with all of its benefits while in their deep mind refusing to assimilate with the culture. Multitudes of Jews will more than likely leave New York because of this Mayor.
The United Kingdom
The worst case is the Islamic takeover of the United Kingdom. Dozens of local councils today are run by outspoken, somewhat militant radically inclined Islamists. These pledge loyalty to the Ummah, an ideology that refers to the collective community of Muslims sharing a common religious identity and beliefs. It signifies a sense of brotherhood among Muslims worldwide, transcending geographical and cultural boundaries.
The Islamists have no loyalty to Queen and Country, neither to the King, nor to the United Kingdom as such, or to the flag, the symbol of an historical Judeo- Christian Heritage in times past.
As for the spread of Islam in the United Kingdom mosques are being built all across Great Britain to meet the growing demand from the Muslim community, with new projects underway in various cities. These mosques serve as community centres for worship and social activities, however, the sermons are in Arabic and the Muslim clergy in their own languages “sing a different song!”
At the Polls
Muslim voter participation in elections all across the western democracies is far higher than the average voter turnout of non-Muslims. The Muslims know the key to opening the door of Islamic domination is through the voting polls. Muslims have lots of children and are allowed by Islam to have multiple wives.
In a western democracy where political leaders are voted in by the people if you have enough Muslims then they can elect an Islamic leader. We know from the time of Obama that he entertained members of the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House.
In fact at least six American Islamist activists worked closely with the Obama administration that were Muslim Brotherhood operatives who enjoyed strong influence over U.S. policy, according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism and the Center for Security Policy in Washington at that time.
The FBI in 2004 uncovered the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s strategic plan to infiltrate the U.S. government and sabotage it “from within.” Despite media dismissals of the Brotherhood as a “benign” group, it was in fact the parent group of al-Qaida and played a role in the 9/11 plot. The 19 hijackers were from four countries, with 15 of them being Saudi citizens.
The hijackers got support from several Muslim Brotherhood mosques across the country and were handled by a key Brotherhood leader in America namely the CIA-droned cleric Anwar Awlaki, who was thought to be the U.S. field commander of the operation.
At the ballot boxes through the democratic process Muslims can be elected into key positions in local, state or even in Federal government and if they can take control of enough organizations and centres of academic, business and political power, then this can tip the scales of who it is that will ultimately run the whole country.
The means and the methods of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Organization for Islamic cooperation differ from those of Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, the Houthis and al-Qaeda. But the end goal is identical namely to remove Israel, Judeo-Christianity and democracy and replace them with Islamic ideology and Sharia Law.
One approach is blatant and obvious and its brutality and it triggers a counter response while the other approach is subtle, patient and camouflaged. The end game is the same! This is why the hidden war is so dangerous to the democratic way of life and governance and especially towards Biblical Christianity and Judaism.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood
It is a Biblical principle that when you see Israel fighting a physical war with their enemies on earth, there is also a war being waged in the unseen spiritual realm at the same time. One is seen and the other hidden but the end goal is the same.
In writing to the faithful assembly of New Covenant believers at Ephesus Paul said; “Put on the full armour of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore take up the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand” (Ephesians 6:11-13).
The real war that is going on behind the scenes in the unseen spiritual realm is Satan’s fixation to destroy Judeo-Christianity and to eradicate the nation of Israel. Our defence against this tide of spiritual attack is to regularly put on the spiritual armour of God in order to remain strong and resolute against Satan’s tactics.
We see this hidden war in the life of Daniel when he had been praying on earth that in the unseen spiritual realm Satan and his forces were trying to prevent Daniel’s prayer from being answered and Michael the Archangel was actively engaged with these entities in this struggle occurring in the heavenly realms.
In its prophetic context, it points to the struggle we see today in the world between Islam with Judeo-Christianity and the western democracies historically associated with a Judeo-Christian Heritage in the end-times or the last of the last days, and more so with Satan seeking to stop the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom in saving souls from hell and bringing them to heaven (Daniel 10:12-14).
Satan the Dragon
Satan has two modes of operating. In scripture he is called the Red Dragon and the Serpent. When he is depicted as a the red dragon he is the persecutor as we see in Revelation Chapter 12 where he goes after the woman which is the nation of Israel and her spiritual offspring being the faithful Body of Messiah, being those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 12:1-6, 13-17).
We see Satan as the bloody red dragon in this aspect of his diabolical work being perpetrated in the genocide of Christians in Nigeria, in Sudan and to a larger or lesser degree in every other Muslim nation as the tentacles of Islamic murder and mayhem spread.
Also we see open persecution in countries such as in Russia, China and in North Korea. Persecution is also on the rise for the western democracies that are seeing government legislation impinging on Biblically centred Christians.
Today Satan is using Islam to do this. The Jihadists in Islam have a saying which says something along these lines; “We kill Jews on Saturdays and we kill Christians on Sundays.”
In those countries where Satan is doing his bloody butchers work against faithful Christians through Islamist Jihadists he is being constantly confronted by Christians who are faithful to the Lord Jesus even unto the death.
The reason he is perpetrating these atrocities is because he cannot overcome the Body of Messiah. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the faithful Body of the Messiah corporately and he knows it and it fills him with rage!
He cannot prevail against the faithful Body of Messiah because they are wrecking his kingdom and multitudes are being saved out of his clutches to find salvation in the Messiah our Lord Jesus.
In the Islamic world today millions of Muslims are getting saved and leaving Islam. Killing Christians is Satan’s first method of attack as we see occurring in Nigeria and Sudan and across the whole Muslim world today, however as history has shown the more he kills the more they hatch!
The phrase “the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church” is attributed to Tertullian (155–220AD), an early Christian writer and theologian who himself was not martyred as such. His writings, however, reflect a strong emphasis on martyrdom and the Christian faith under persecution.
What is happening in the Middle-east and in parts of Asia where Islam is persecuting faithful Bible believing New Covenant believers is coming to the west, which by and large is spiritually bankrupt today.
Many Christian leaders are seeking dialogue with Islamic leaders and clergy and interfaith associations combined with ecumenism and embracing anti-Semitism and a rejection of Israel.
While there are some local revivals taking place in various locations in some western countries overall within wider Christendom with its denominational structures there is a famine for the hearing of the Word of God! Persecution does have the effect of sorting out the wheat from the tares and creates opportunities for the Word of God to spread (Acts 8:1-8).
This is why fellowship with other believers in the Holy Spirit around the Word of God is vital to the spiritual survival of the local Body of Messiah.
If we cannot stand together as the Body of Messiah we will not find it easy at all to stand when we are alone. One burning coal by itself will eventually go out, whereas burning coals grouped together keep their warmth.
Satan the Seducer
There is the secret war which Satan is waging as the serpent. When he is described as the serpent, he is the seducer, or the one who is spiritually seducing multitudes within Israel and within wider Christendom today as we see the last end-time falling away that is opening the way for the revealing of the man of sin (2 Thessalonians 3-4).
His end-game is the same to bring about the global apostasy, to annihilate Israel and the faithful Body of Messiah and to eliminate democracy and replace it with Islamic despotism and governance.
The apostasy really kicked in when the Roman Emperor Constantine supposedly became a Christian and making Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. This move of Constantine effectively ended the persecution of Christians in the empire while he still allowed pagan religions to operate within the empire. It was a master stroke by Satan!
If he as the “Red Dragon” could not destroy the faithful Body of Messiah by open persecution then he as “the serpent” changed his tactics, bringing about spiritual seduction which was seen as pagan rituals, ceremonies, and pagan practices were repackaged with Christian wrapping which Constantine seemingly had no problems with.
Today the apostasy is in full swing within wider western Christendom as we see all kinds of Unbiblical doctrines and practices combined with an infestation of false prophets and teachers accompanied by all kinds of counterfeit miracles signs and wonders being performed for those who hunger and thirst after these things first, rather than seeking first the Kingdom of God and hungering and thirsting for His righteousness! (Matthew 6:33) (Matthew 5:6).
This is the hidden war we see exemplified in what happened to Daniel when he was praying for his people the nation of Israel. This hidden war is what Satan is up to today more so than outward warfare and has always been the hidden war he is waging against Israel and the wider Body of Messiah.
Satan knows that it is through the faithful Body of Messiah preaching the gospel of the kingdom that multitudes are being rescued out of his clutches and that Israel’s continuing survival is preparing the world for the Second Coming of the Messiah our Lord Jesus which Satan is seeking to prevent.
So today we can see Satan waging war on two fronts. One is visible while the other is hidden. Islam is the “Red Dragon” at work, and Islamic migration into western democracies, ecumenism, interfaith, and the famine for the hearing of the Word of God, with multitudes embracing false and unbiblical doctrines and practices by a spiritually backslidden Christendom, is the “Serpent” at work.
Epilogue:
The hidden war continues unabated and gaining momentum daily. Satan knows that his time is now short and that the Messiah our Lord Jesus is the King of the Jews and destined to sit on David’s throne at Jerusalem.
As we read in the gospel of Luke; “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the LORD God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end” (Luke 1:32-33).
In his twisted, delusional and perverted mindset Satan thinks if he can destroy Israel as a nation then the Messiah will have no kingdom to return to as the King of the Jews.
Of course we know from God’s unchanging and prophetic Word, the Bible, that Israel will more than survive as a nation and that after the Lord Jesus has destroyed all opposition by His Second Coming, that in the Messianic kingdom to come Israel will be the head and not the tail over the surviving nations.
In that day Jerusalem will be the capital city of the whole world with the Messiah ruling from Jerusalem over the nations with a rod of iron and having the government of the whole world resting upon His shoulders (Isaiah 2:1-5; 9:6-7). In that day the visible and hidden war will no longer exist, neither will Islam!
In that day the prophet Habakkuk writes; “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14).
As the prophet Isaiah also writes; “In the last days the mountain (kingdom) of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains (kingdoms); it will be raised above the hills (the leaders of the nations), and all nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law (the Torah) will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem” (Isaiah 2:2-3). Indeed the hidden war will be over!
