Introduction:
According to an article earlier this week in the All Israel News online it was reported that the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) has recognised a significant increase in military activity in the Sinai Peninsula, violating the peace agreement between the countries. The IDF have observed the building of anti-tank obstacles and the deployment of whole armoured divisions in the central Sinai region.
The peace treaty between Israel and Egypt in 1979 included the demilitarization of the Sinai, which Israel returned to Egypt as part of the treaty. However, when ISIS became a threat in the area, Israel allowed a large build-up of forces near its border to help Egypt fight the jihadi terrorists…
The Egyptian armed forces are one of the largest military powers in the region. Egypt has built a massive network of roads and bridges, created dozens of opportunities to cross the Suez Canal, and acquired hundreds of tank transporters, enabling it to rapidly reinforce troops in the Sinai Peninsula which shows no signs of letting up.
In December last year, the State Department approved another sale of $4.69 billion in weapons to Egypt, including 555 U.S.-made M1A1 Abrams tanks, $630 million in 2,183 Hellfire air-to-surface missiles, and $30 million in precision-guided munitions.
Closer to the Israeli border, apparently the IDF discovered additional tunnels running from the Sinai under the Philadelphi Corridor and into the Gaza Strip. Over 10 such tunnels were reportedly found during the war with Hamas which is still continuing, including some tunnels that were dozens of meters underground and ran into Egypt for over a kilometre.
The state of war between both countries goes back to the 1948 Arab–Israeli War culminating in the Yom Kippur War in 1973, and was followed by the 1979 Egypt–Israel peace treaty a year after the Camp David Accords, mediated by U.S. president Jimmy Carter.
Full diplomatic relations were established on January 26, 1980, and the formal exchange of ambassadors took place one month later, on February 26, 1980. However, Egypt is starting to assert its military power once again in the region and undoubtedly has Israel in its cross-hairs.
Egypt, the largest Arab state with approximately 117 million residents, cannot feed, house, or provide for its population. Yet, this does not stop it from building in recent years a massive army, a powerful navy, and an air force capable of challenging and complicating matters for the Israeli Air Force.
Egypt’s entire military force being mobilised in the Saini repeatedly violates and erodes the Camp David Accords and the training in the Sinai is for one purpose being war with Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knows full-well that you cannot make peace with Islam when he said; “If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.’”
Now the prophets in the Old Testament scriptures prophesied for their own time as well as for the future. This prophecy has a clear and distinct application to the end of this present age when God will have started dealing with the Gentile nations, leading up to the Second Coming of Messiah. God will deal with Egypt and the oracle of Isaiah is prophetic in nature. Let’s now look at this chapter…
Isaiah Chapter 19
Exposition:
(Vs.1 Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to Egypt; The idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence, And the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.”
Ancient Egypt was a hotbed of occult activity. The Egyptians had many idols or ‘gods.’ Behind the physical idols were principalities and demonic entities in the fallen unseen spiritual world. Idolatry in reality is the worship of demons (Deuteronomy 32:16-17) (Psalm 106:36-37) 1 Corinthians 10:20).
These ‘idols’ are described as having emotions and intellect and when confronted by the power of God, are bound and frustrated by Him and unable to function. We see this when the Lord Jesus confronted them during His ministry and in the ministry of the apostles.
Demonic power was operating through the magicians of Pharaoh in the time of Moses when he and Aaron had to confront these practitioners of the occult. In the end the power of God prevailed over the demonic power of these magicians. Today in Egypt there are still many who practice idolatry by worshipping their ancient gods.
Today you have modern Kemetism, also called Kemeticism, which is a new revival of old Egyptian religious practices, starting in the late 20th century. The word “Kemetism” comes from “Kemet,” the old name for Egypt, meaning “the black land,” which points to the rich soil near the Nile River. This new religious movement tries to bring back and practice the spiritual ways, beliefs, and actions of ancient Egypt.
Kemetism is not one single tradition, but a mix of groups and people who are all interested in ancient Egyptian spirituality. These people often use old texts, archaeological discoveries, and experts’ studies to guide their ways, trying to respect the ‘gods’ and ‘goddesses’ of old Egypt in today’s world.
When the Egyptians were conquered by the Assyrians these principalities behind the idols of Egypt transferred themselves to the idols of the Assyrians. In fact all of the ancient empires from Egypt to the Roman Empire had numerous ‘gods’ who had their names changed but in reality retained the same spiritual power, a power going all the way back to the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve, through their sin, opened the portal between this world and the unseen spiritual world for these demonic forces to infiltrate the human race.
In Isaiah’s day there was no other nation on earth that was so much in the grip of superstition and filthy idolatry as Egypt. Apes, cats, frogs, crocodiles, lizards and almost everything were venerated by the Egyptians.
At the time of the Exodus, when the Pharaoh of Egypt would not release the children of Israel from their captivity, the LORD made the idols of Egypt to totter at His presence. He directed each of the plagues against a particular idol of Egypt.
After Moses and Aaron confronted Pharaoh and his court in regards to their enslavement of the Israelites, through the plagues that came upon Egypt, the LORD knocked down the god Khnum, the guardian of the Nile, the god Hapi, the spirit of the Nile, and the god Osiris (who had the Nile as his bloodstream) when the waters were turned to blood.
The LORD knocked down the goddess Heqt, the frog-goddess of fertility, with the plague of frogs. The LORD knocked down the goddess Hathor, a cow-like mother goddess, with the plague on livestock.
The LORD knocked down the god Imhotep, the god of medicine, with the plague of boils. The LORD knocked down the god Nut, the sky goddess, with the plague of hail. The LORD knocked down the whole system of Egyptian worship of their gods with loathsome lice and swarms of insects. The LORD knocked down the god Seth, thought to be the protector of crops, with the plague of locusts.
The LORD knocked down the god Ra, thought to be the sun god, with the plague of darkness. The LORD knocked down Osiris, the Egyptian god thought to be the giver of life, and the supposed deity of Pharaoh himself, with the plague against the firstborn.
Just as God intervened in Egypt through Moses and Aaron by debunking and defeating the false ‘god’s, so He is going to intervene in the pagan ideology and practices of Egypt today.
In the days of the Exodus, God made all the idols ‘gods’ of Egypt null and void of power. In this oracle we are told that these ‘gods’ “will tremble at His presence” and that the hearts of the Egyptian people “will melt with fear.” Here, Isaiah tells us that what the LORD did in Egypt in the time of Moses and Aaron; He will do again.
The plagues upon ancient Egypt recorded for us in the Old Testament scriptures resurface in a like manner in the Book of Revelation and come upon the whole world. As we will see as we continue looking at this oracle Egypt will also be judged again, however, at the end of the oracle we will see that the nation is spiritually restored and given a prominent standing in the Millennial Messianic Kingdom.
Today we see the Egyptians once again manoeuvring their military forces in the Sinai with the obvious intent to attack Israel. It would seem that the Egyptians have forgotten what the God of Israel did to the whole Egyptian army in Moses time by drowning them all in the Red Sea.
The idea of “the LORD riding on a swift cloud” telescopes to the Second Coming of the Messiah our Lord Jesus descending in the clouds of heaven to judge the nations arrayed against God, and against His people (Mark 14:62). Egypt in the Bible metaphorically is a type of the world and the Pharaohs a type of the god of this world Satan who will come to the zenith of his power in the Antichrist. Let’s continue…
(Vs.2) “So I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians; And they will each fight against his brother and each against his neighbour, City against city and kingdom against kingdom.”
God loves to confuse those armies that attack Israel and gets them to fight each other as we saw in the time of Gideon when the LORD caused the Midianites to kill each other (Judges 7:22), and again in the time King Jehoshaphat of Judah (2 Chronicles 20:22-23). In the Bible all of the ancient despotic kings of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome metaphorically were all types of the Antichrist.
When the Lord Jesus return in the clouds of heaven and reigns down the fire of His wrath on these armies, He will destroy the Antichrist and make his military forces fight with each other (Zechariah 12:4; 14:12-13).
In this oracle given in the time of Isaiah referring to Egypt we find historically the coming civil war which would come to Egypt which was indirectly the hand of God’s judgment against them. Not many years after this time Egypt was divided into twelve several kingdoms, between whom there were many and cruel wars, as is related by the historians of those times. And then we read…
(Vs.3 “Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be demoralized within them; And I will confound their strategy, So that they will resort to idols and ghosts of the dead And to mediums and spiritists.”
When any nation is under the judgement of God, He will often remove sound counsel and wisdom from their leaders and they turn to vain, pagan things for wisdom such as idols. All of the kings of the ancient empires sought the ‘wisdom’ of their counsellors, court advisors and magicians when faced with a calamity.
When God sends the calamity the wisdom of this world, spewed out by the wicked entities in the unseen fallen spiritual realm, is always rendered powerless by the power of God.
Idols come in various forms today and the modern idols that people pursue such as wealth, fame, fortune, material possessions, human relationships, or a career without considering or consulting the LORD, when they are faced with calamity such as a terminal illness, or a financial collapse, or a personal relationship severed, or find themselves in a recession, these ‘gods’ they have worshipped will not be able to solve their dilemma.
As the LORD also said through the prophet Jeremiah; “Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the LORD” (Jeremiah 17:5). And again we read in the psalms; “It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in princes” (Psalm 118:9).
Now Ancient Egypt was also renowned for its exulted class of wise men (1 Kings 4:30), but they would not be able to cope with this judgment from the LORD that Isaiah was prophesying would come” and so God continues to speak through Isaiah…
(Vs.4) “Moreover, I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel master, And a mighty king will rule over them,” declares the Lord God of hosts.
Historically, following the death of the Pharaoh Tirhakah, who was ruling over Egypt at the time of Isaiah’s prophecy, the country was torn by civil strife. As mentioned before Egypt was split into twelve kingdoms all subject to Assyria. Finally Egypt was united again under the Pharaoh Psammetichus, “the cruel master,” I believe this can be a somewhat veiled reference to the future Antichrist who will attack Egypt. Prophetically at the end of this age, Egypt will be invaded and conquered by the Islamic Antichrist’s military forces (Daniel 11:42-43).
When any nation chooses to have any other ruler or master reigning over them instead of the LORD, He will often send them one that will severely afflict them and this we see in what Pharaoh Psammetichus did along with his people who were all steeped in demonic occult activity through their idols.
This principle we even see in Israel when the people of Israel chose King Saul, not according to the guidance of the LORD, but according to their own assessment of what they wanted in a king to rule over them as the pagan nations had. Of course God was their king and yet they pressed the prophet Samuel to give them a king according to their own desires.
After Samuel sought the LORD he came to the people of Israel and told them that the one they would get would not be good for the nation being Saul who was head and shoulders above all others in Israel, and had all the ‘marks’ of a successful leader by the standards of the world and was the people’s choice. Of course God already had a man after His own heart being the shepherd boy David.
However, God gave His people a leader, who in the end would bring disaster upon Israel. Saul led the people of God into a time of calamity, whereas David led the people of Israel into a time of victory and success over their sworn enemies the Philistines in Gaza. Let’s now continue with the text.
The same principality that was over Gaza then is still around today and behind the aggression and militancy of the Palestinian authority and Hamas. You could say that Hamas are the modern version of the ancient Philistines, Israel’s implacable enemies. Now let’s return to the matter concerning Egypt…
(Vs.5-10) “The waters from the sea will dry up, And the river will be parched and dry. 6 The canals will emit a stench, The streams of Egypt will thin out and dry up; The reeds and rushes will rot away. The bulrushes by the Nile, by the edge of the Nile And all the sown fields by the Nile Will become dry, be driven away, and be no more. And the fishermen will lament, And all those who cast a line into the Nile will mourn, And those who spread nets on the waters will pine away. Moreover, the manufacturers of linen made from combed flax And the weavers of white cloth will be utterly dejected. And the pillars of Egypt will be crushed; All the hired labourers will be grieved in soul.”
Now following the despotic reign of the Pharaoh Psammetichus a severe drought would dry up the water supplies, causing crop failure, wiping out the fishing industry, closing up the textile mills, and bringing ruin to all segments of the population, whether leaders or politicians or the common people. Egypt went into a very deep depression and its economy at every level of society failed
The Nile River was the key to Egypt’s agriculture and economy. For it to suffer a severe drought or lowering would have a devastating effect on the lives of Egyptians. God promised this would happen as a judgment against Egypt.
What happened in Egypt in the time of Moses happened again to a degree at this time spoken of in this oracle to the Egyptians. Once again their ‘gods’ had no power to save them. And then we read…
(Vs.11-15) “The princes of Zoan are mere fools; The advice of Pharaoh’s wisest advisers has become stupid. How can you men say to Pharaoh, “I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings”? Well then, where are your wise men? Please let them tell you, And let them understand what the Lord of hosts Has purposed against Egypt. The princes of Zoan have acted foolishly; The princes of Memphis are deluded; Those who are the cornerstone of her tribes Have led Egypt astray. The Lord has mixed within her a spirit of distortion; They have led Egypt astray in all that it does, As a drunken man staggers in his vomit. There will be no work for Egypt Which its head or tail, its palm branch or bulrush, may do.”
Pharaoh’s princes and his wisest advisors showed their stupidity when it came to finding solutions to the troubles that plagued Egypt. These in their stupidity had no wisdom to cope with the situation. Even the supreme leaders of the Tribes in Egypt were led astray by the demonic entities surrounding the lifeless idols. Every level of society would not escape this judgement from the LORD. In fact He had distorted their thinking.
Now while these things were fulfilled in past history concerning the land of Egypt there is “a time leap” in this oracle which takes us to the end of this age when the Messiah returns in the clouds of heaven to take the battle to His enemies and those of His people Israel.
The Messiah’s Second Coming will be a swift return when He is least expected and the idols (‘gods’-principalities) of Egypt will tremble and the hearts of the Egyptians paralysed with fear of the imminent judgement by the Rider on the White Horse accompanied by the armies of Heaven (Isaiah 63:1-6) (Revelation 19:11-21). Indeed the LORD is coming to Egypt!
(Vs.16-17) “In that day the Egyptians will become like women, and they will tremble and be in dread because of the waving of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which He is going to wave over them. The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt; everyone to whom it is mentioned will be in dread of it, because of the purpose of the LORD of hosts which He is purposing against them.”
When the LORD raises His hand everything is shaken and everyone stands to attention. Here we are told that the Egyptians that have attacked Israel will become like women who cannot defend themselves and be trembling in dread at what is about to descend upon them.
Notice also that Judah will become a terror to Egypt as the IDF and many other civilian Jews fight alongside the Messiah their Commander in Chief after His return. As Zechariah the prophet writes; “Judah too will also fight at Jerusalem” (Zechariah 14:14).
The context of verses 1-15 is past history for Egypt but also the pattern of future history of Egypt which is still to come. Verses 16-25 take us to a time when Egypt as a nation will be restored spiritually and nationally in the Messianic Millennial reign of the Messiah our Lord Jesus when He sits on David’s throne at Jerusalem.
In that day when His royal sceptre is waved over the nations, the obedience of the peoples of these surviving nations of the world will be His including Egypt (Genesis 49:10).
(Vs.18-20) “In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and swearing allegiance to the Lord of hosts; one will be called the City of Destruction.” “In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord near its border. It will become a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of oppressors, and He will send them a Saviour and a Champion, and He will deliver them.”
This prophecy announces a day when in the Messianic Millennial Kingdom Egypt will worship the LORD and speak the language of those within His kingdom. They will reverence the LORD. There will be five cities that will become centres of worship for the Triune God of Israel.
One of these cities included is Heliopolis (City of the sun), or also called the city of destruction in that it was under the judgement of God, but will become God’s city of true and eternal spiritual light in the LORD.
We are also told that there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of Egypt describing that the worship of Him will be central in Egypt, and a pillar erected on the border, both the altar and the pillar being witnesses to the LORD’s saving mercy towards Egypt and to the salvation from sin and hell provided by the Messiah on the sacrificial altar of the cross.
Added to this, we are told that when the Egyptians under the heel of their oppressors, just as the Israelites in Egypt had been under Egyptian oppressors in the time of Moses, that when the Egyptians cry out out to the LORD because of their oppressors, that He will deliver them, being a saviour and a champion for them in their distress. God always has mercy on sinners and saves those who call upon His name to be delivered from the oppressor Satan, his demonic entities and demons and from his power.
The first century Jewish historian Josephus tells us that this prophecy of Chapter 19 was fulfilled in 1 B.C. when Onias, the high priest fleeing from Jerusalem, obtained permission to build an altar in Egypt, however, the full meaning of this oracle is Millennial. Remember prophecy is “a pattern.”
What happens in past history in some way also tells us about what will happen in future history. This is the pattern of how to understand Bible prophecy. When you look at many of the prophecies in the Old Testament the prophets prophesied for their own time frame, for the first coming of the Messiah our Lord Jesus, and also for the Second Coming of the Messiah our Lord Jesus, including the Millennial age to follow this present age.
A good example of this pattern is found in Isaiah chapter eleven. You have the first coming of Messiah (vss. 1-4a). Then you have the Second Coming of the Messiah (vss.4b-5), followed by the Millennial Kingdom in the age to come after this age has closed (vss.6-16).
When one reads that God sends Egypt a saviour and champion one cannot but see this prophetically as a reference to the Messiah our Lord Jesus and the salvation of the world purchased by His redeeming blood, and this salvation included the nation of Egypt which in the age to come will be a city in the Messianic Kingdom devoted to the Messiah.
It also needs to be noted that in past history that there did come to be a widespread knowledge of the LORD in Egypt. In the days of Jesus, more than a million Jews lived in Egypt. In the early days of Christianity, there was a strong, vital church in Egypt for more than 600 years. Before the scourge of Islam hit Eastern Christendom, many Middle-Eastern countries such as Iran, and Iraq and Syria and Turkey were once bastions of Eastern Christianity.
(21-22) “Thus the Lord will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the LORD and perform it. The LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the Lord, and He will respond to them and will heal them.”
It is a fact that often with His cherished and loved children God has to hurt before He heals. Just as a skilled surgeon has to cut flesh to removes a skin cancer, or cut into the human body to remove a tumour, so the LORD has to do spiritual surgery on us as His redeemed children, not to afflict us beyond our capacity to endure it, as He empathises with us in our affliction as He did with e children of Israel when they had come out of Egypt.
God is going to strike Egypt, but also with that strike bring spiritual healing and prosperity to the nation in the Messianic Kingdom to come.
As Isaiah also writes concerning Israel; “For He said, “They are surely My people, sons who will not be disloyal.” So He became their Saviour. In all their distress, He too was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them. In His love and compassion He redeemed them; He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old” (Isaiah 63:8-9).
As the prophet Hosea said to the people of Judah in his time concerning their spiritual restoration; “Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us to pieces, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bind up our wounds. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence” (Hosea 6:1-2).
God’s “wounds” are always spiritually therapeutic and not harmful to us spiritually, but they are allowed and given by God to bring about spiritual healing. However once the “wound” has been cured the soothing ointment of His loving mercy, grace and wisdom will be amply applied to that wound that He has healed.
“The third day” Hosea mentions is the day when we, as the redeemed of the LORD, will be set free from the very presence of sin, receive our immortal resurrected bodies at the rapture and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:51-55).
After this we will enter into the unbridled joy of the Millennial Messianic kingdom of God to co-reign with the Messiah on earth for 1,000 years, with He who has redeemed us by His blood as the perfect Passover Lamb sacrificed for our sins. Ultimately we will enjoy Him for all of eternity after the close of the Millennial Age to come.
Egypt at present is not a nation that by and large is under the rule of the Messiah. Even though there are assemblies of New Covenant believers in Egypt today, the nation by and large is Islamic. However, before the Messiah our Lord Jesus returns the LORD our Triune God is going to arrange things in such a way as to bring back Egypt into the fold of His kingdom.
(Vs.23-25) “In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.”
In the Millennial Messianic Age to come a highway will pass through from Egypt through Israel to Assyria which today would be primarily modern-day Iraq as well as parts of Iran, Kuwait, Syria, and Turkey (all Islamic enclaves today). This highway will have an unrestricted passage.
The nations of the world that have survived the Second Coming of the Messiah our Lord Jesus will unite in the worship of our Triune God including Egypt. As for Islam it will it will no longer exist!
Israel will be at the centre of the whole earth and in their complete spiritual and national restoration as a nation all of the families of the earth will be blessed as the LORD promised to do through Abraham’s decedents through the line of Isaac and Jacob. As the LORD said…
“I will surely bless you, and I will multiply your descendants like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the gates of their enemies. 18And through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice” (Genesis 22:15-18).
In the Messianic age to come Egypt, Israel and Assyria (modern-day Iraq as well as parts of Iran, Kuwait, Syria, and Turkey, which today are all hostile towards Israel), will be one with the Jewish nation. This will form a triple alliance, together enjoying the blessings of the Messiah’s Millennial Kingdom. Notice the repetition of the phrase “in that day,” a phrase primarily related to end–time prophetic events (vss.16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 24).
Egypt has yet to be dealt with by the LORD. Once again as this article is being written on the 10th of January 2025 the Egyptians are massing their armed forces in the Saini Peninsula and building raised structures in the desert to impede Israeli tanks because the Egyptians know full well from past wars with Israel, that the Israeli tanks are no joke and can do a lot of damage as the Egyptians have experienced in their previous wars with Israel.
Even though Egypt today has one of the largest armed forces in the Middle-East they will be no match for Israel because the LORD Himself will go out to fight those nations that attack Jerusalem just prior to the return of the Messiah our Lord Jesus who, when He returns to earth, will destroy all opposition to God’s Kingdom, after which the Messianic Millennial kingdom will commence (Zechariah Chapters 12 &14).
As Jerusalem becomes centre stage in world affairs the LORD our Triune God has said…
“This is the burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Thus declares the LORD, who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, who forms the spirit of man within him: “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples. Judah will be besieged, as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth gather against her, I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who would heave it away will be severely injured” (Zechariah 12:2-3).
The words “severely injured” can be literally translated from the Hebrew text as “torn or ripped apart.” It does not pay to mess with the God of Israel “His wife,” the Jewish people who are still “the apple of His eye!” (Zechariah 2:8).
In the last days Egypt will once again join forces with those who have made a pact to bring about the complete destruction of Israel as a nation and behind this nefarious group of nations will be Satan seeking to prevent the prophetic purposes of God from coming to pass.
However, Satan has already lost the battle. Many nations will be virtually destroyed and torn apart that have made this pact with each other to establish Jerusalem as an Islamic city without a Jewish presence including possession of the temple mount.
As for Egypt, after God has terrified them in His wrath and wounded them severely, He will also heal them as a nation. It will not be because they have earned or merited it, but because of His mercy. In that day when the Messiah our Lord Jesus sits on the throne of David in Jerusalem, in the midst of Egypt there will be an altar to the LORD and a memorial monument to His salvation in the Messiah as a witness to the LORD Almighty who In His mercy has granted salvation to Egypt!
In that day God will say to this triple alliance He has established; “Blessed be Egypt My people, Assyria My handiwork, and Israel My inheritance!” Amen!
