(Luke 17:26-30) “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating; drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulphur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.”
And they will not escape
For billions of people around the world the Second Coming of Christ will take them completely by surprise just as the flood took the people by surprise in the time of Noah. The apostle Paul wrote; “For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night (he won’t be expected) while people are saying ‘peace and safety’ destruction will come on them suddenly, as labour pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 2-3) The people in Noah and Lot’s time were absorbed in the pleasures and pursuits of this life and were totally unaware of what was coming. The one word that could describe their status was “Materialism.” They were only living for the things of this life and completely at home in this world but did not prepare themselves for the world to come.
The Ark of Salvation
Noah’s ark represents the salvation offered in Jesus Christ and Noah himself was a type of Jesus compelling sinners to repent and come into the refuge of God’s salvation in order to escape His wrath upon sin and rebellion. The ark is also a type of the faithful Church protected and rescued from the bowls of God’s wrath. The flood of Noah’s time prefigures the last judgement by fire coming upon this world at the end of this age. Water was the means that God used to destroy the ancient world and fire will be the means He will use to destroy this present world before He recreates a new heaven and earth. The apostle Peter wrote; “By water also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men.” (2 Peter 3:6-7) The times of Noah and lot teach us about conditions in the very last days just before Jesus comes back and there are both negative and positive features described that can also be applied to the last days.
The Negative features of Noah’s time. (Genesis 5:1-12)
1. There was satanic infiltration of the human race.
(Vs. 1-4) “When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, ‘My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; and his days will be a hundred and twenty years.’ The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.”
When we look at these verses we need to ask ourselves who are “the sons of God?” This phrase also appears three times in the book of Job. (Job 1:6 2:1 38:7) In connection with these verses we are told that these “sons of God” are angelic beings. In the time of Noah fallen angelic beings had sex with human women and produced offspring. These beings were “demonoids” called ‘”Nephilim” or “fallen ones.” Greek mythology itself is full of this kind of thing where you have gods co-habiting with human women producing offspring such as Hercules and many others who had superhuman strength and ability. Of course this was myth yet there was a truth in this mythology. It is highly probable that these kinds of myths had their origin in Genesis chapter six.
It will happen again
What happened in the time of Noah will become a conspicuous feature in the last days. Already we have seen a great upsurge in supernatural things and there have been many accounts of so-called “alien abductions” where people have often said they have been interfered with sexually by these “Aliens’”. A common practice in the initiation rites into black necromancy is to have sex with demons. When you look at what they are doing in the area of genetic engineering in cloning you can imagine what sorts of things could be produced in the hands of fallen man. In the last days demonic angelic beings will in some way be able to transform themselves into beings that can have sexual relations with women. Jude tells us that the angels who did this in Noah’s time really experienced God’s judgement. Jude writes, ” And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home-these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great day” (Jude 6)
2. People’s hearts were constantly set on doing evil all of the time.
(Vs 5) “The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.”
In Noah’s time the people of the earth were constantly focussed and preoccupied with evil and this also involved their imaginations. Today the media bombards us with images and concepts that directly affect our imaginations. Our lifestyles, attitudes and values in life are directly shaped by television and movies. Our morality and ethics is directly controlled by the television today. While it is not wrong to watch television we must be very careful what we do watch and allow to filer into our imaginations. Television can affect our subconscious imagination and cause us to act out what we imagine. As the scripture says, “As a man thinks in his heart so will he be” (in his actions). The Lord Jesus Himself told us about this kind of thing when He said, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:22-23).
Sinful thoughts unchecked
Sinful acts are usually the result of sinful thoughts unchecked. James said, “When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone, but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. “ (James 1:13-15) We need to ask ourselves this question. Are our eyes fixed on the light of God’s Word or on the light in the lounge room? Now let’s move on to the next negative feature of Noah’s time.
3. The earth was totally corrupted by bloodshed and violence.
(Vs 11) “Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and full of violence.”
Today we live in an age of violence and bloodshed and becoming more and more desensitised to it through violent video games and movies. Just look at the shelves of virtual reality type of games available today and you will see row after row of violent and supernaturally themed games. In the days of the Roman Empire the masses went to see violence in the arena as gladiators slaughtered each other and Christians were fed to wild beasts. Rome itself was a so-called “educated” and even “enlightened” society yet it was desensitised to violence. It could well be that a time is coming when this generation will be the same and people will go to major sports arenas to see people kill each other for sport. Already the decadence and moral and ethical corruption that was Rome has taken hold of this generation especially in the western nations today. In the time of Noah it had come to the point where violence and bloodshed had become a way of life. Just look at the news today on television and in the newspapers and you can see genocide and death on a global scale and getting worse. In fact the Lord Jesus Himself told us that this kind of thing would be happening in frequency and intensity and on a global scale just before He comes back.
4. There was widespread sexual corruption.
(Vs 12) “God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.”
In the time of Noah there was widespread sexual corruption and today is it any different with our gay and lesbian Mardi Gras and alternate lifestyles being forced on us through the television and movies. Today our society tolerates things that were not tolerated twenty to thirty years ago. These days Same-Sex Marriage is rapidly becoming common place among many and being endorsed by Western politicians wanting to gain votes. In Denmark now it is legal for homosexual and lesbians to marry and to bring up children and in many other western countries including Australia there are people pushing to change the law to make these kinds of alternative lifestyles the norm in our society. When you look at the advertising industry today our minds and imaginations are constantly bombarded with sexual images and lifestyles that go contrary to God’s Word. In most cases advertising is heavily orientated towards sex in some way. In fact through the media there is a very strong influence of the occult in advertising today.
The Prince of the power of the air
Satan is called “the prince of the power of the air.” The Greek word used for “air” is the air just above the surface of the globe. It is the air space where the radio and television waves travel to and fro across the circumference of the earth. The media is the means by which Satan is controlling the minds and hearts of people today in society. Television is shaping the way we think as a society and many of our lifestyles are based on what is seen on television and portrayed in movies. In the days of the Roman Empire people were pre-occupied with the beauty of the human body. Bi-sexuality itself was common place even among many of the Roman Emperors. Today it is no different! Western society is where Ancient Roman society was centuries ago just before Rome itself fell to the Barbarians. The “Barbarian hordes” encircling the morally and ethically decadent western nations today is Islam.
5. Materialism and a pre-occupation with secular living were rampant.
(Matthew 24:37-39) “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. This is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
Despite God’s warnings through Noah the people of his generation continued to live every day for the pleasures, the pursuits and the material benefits of this life. People continued with their normal daily activities, they married, they ate and drank and conducted their daily business as if they were going to live forever. They were totally unaware of the deluge that was about to come upon them. They did these things right up to the day Noah and his family entered into the ark and by then it was too late! Can you imagine the floodgates were suddenly opened? People were suddenly terrified and panic spread everywhere and many undoubtedly beat their fists on the outside of the ark begging to be rescued but it was too late and they all went into a watery grave, men, women, children and beasts of the field shrieking and howling in their final death throes.
120 years
They had at least 120 years to repent and come into the ark of salvation for safety but in the end only eight people in all were saved. When the bowls of God’s wrath are poured out on a sinful and rebellious world only a remnant will be spared. This is why it is imperative that the Church preaches the Gospel of the Kingdom. It is not time to sell people on “purpose driven” concepts or “seeker sensitive” alternatives but to plainly tell them to, “flee from the wrath to come” and to “save themselves from this crooked and perverse generation!”
Indifference
Now in themselves there is nothing wrong with eating, drinking and marrying or conducting business but when people became preoccupied with these things they became careless and indifferent to the coming wrath upon sin. The people in Noah’s time just continued in their daily activities despite the warnings of Noah who is was called “a preacher of righteousness.” They lived on as if nothing was going to happen. They continued down this path of indifference to the things of God until the flood came and swept them all away in judgement.
One will be taken and the other left
When the final bowls of God’s wrath are poured out billions will be taken away in judgement while others will be spared to go into the millennial kingdom of God. The Lord Jesus said, “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken (in judgement) and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken (in judgement) and the other left” (Matthew 24:40-41) Judgement by fire is coming on this generation yet people do not want to know about it. Even in many churches and denominations people are not even aware of the times in which we are living due to wilful ignorance or just plain Biblical ignorance. The whole world is “a Titanic” that is heading for the “iceberg.” When the Titanic had hit the iceberg and the ship was sinking many on the ship refused to believe it and went on partying into the night oblivious to the watery grave to which they were going.
A proper perspective
We need to have a proper perspective of material possessions in this life and see them as our servants because the moment we begin to serve them we are on the downward path to perdition. The “faith prosperity” and “kingdom now” people need to read what the Bible itself says about preoccupation with getting rich and having it good in this world. Paul wrote to Timothy about people who want to get rich in this world and Christians are no exceptions today especially those who promote the Faith Prosperity doctrines.
Paul gave some very sound advice to us when he said, “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some people (believers implied) eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs” (1 Timothy 6:6-10).
So then we have seen that the negative features of Noah’s time are conspicuous features of the age in which we live. Yes while it is true that they have been around in every age in these last days, because of the media, they are now in epidemic proportions unequalled in history. Now we need to look at the features in Lot’s time as they also have a direct bearing on what is happening in society today.
The Negative Feature of Lot’s time. (Genesis 19: 1-11)
Lot was a righteous man who did not participate in the dissipation and moral depravity of the society in which he lived. The prevailing morally corrupt lifestyles in Sodom and Gomorrah teach us about the conditions in the world that will exist at the close of this age just before the Lord Jesus comes back. God sent two angels to Sodom to rescue Lot and his family out of Sodom before the fiery bowl of God’s wrath was poured out upon that wicked city in the plain and upon her sister city Gomorrah. And so we read…
(Genesis 19: 1-11) “The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth and said, “My lords, please turn aside to your servant’s house and spend the night and wash your feet. Then you may rise up early and go on your way.”
They said, “No; we will spend the night in the town square.” But he pressed them strongly; so they turned aside to him and entered his house. And he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, all the people to the last man, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know them.”
Lot went out to the men at the entrance, shut the door after him, and said, “I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly. Behold, I have two daughters who have not known any man. Let me bring them out to you, and do to them as you please. Only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the shelter of my roof.” But they said, “Stand back!” And they said, “This fellow came to sojourn, and he has become the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them.”
Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door down. But the men reached out their hands and brought Lot into the house with them and shut the door. And they struck with blindness the men who were at the entrance of the house, both small and great, so that they wore themselves out groping for the door.”
There was rampant militant and violent homosexuality
In the time of Lot there was militant homosexuality and gangs of homosexuals roamed the streets of the city of Sodom. When the two angels came into the city to rescue Lot and his family the militant homosexuals wanted to have sex with them and the angels had to blind them. In fact they were coming against Lot and in the last days the militant homosexual communities in the decadent western nations will attack Bible believing Christians who take a stand on God’s Word against such perversion. Today we have the gay and lesbian Mardi Gras and see them demanding equal rights to marry and to adopt children and to practice their trade openly. Some already want the consenting age lowered so that they can have homosexual relationships with children. Because of this kind of sexual perversion and deviation the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire.
This kind of perversion is under the judgement of God. The apostle Paul wrote; “Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.” (Romans 1:24-32)
AIDS and venereal disease
When you look at the rapid spread of aids today you can see this truth being worked out in society. Even though aids itself has spread to the heterosexual community it has decimated the homosexual community. You cannot defy the law of gravity and it is the same principle where Aids is concerned. You cannot be sexually promiscuous and avoid the high potential of contracting aids. When anyone deviates from God’s norm they put themselves in harm’s way where aids and other sexually related diseases are concerned. Having said all this concerning Negative features in the times of Noah and Lot there were also positive features as well and we will now look at these.
The Positive Features of Noah’s time.
Even though the whole human race had become evil, full of violence, bloodshed and sexual perversion Noah found favour in God’s sight. He remained faithful to the Lord even though he was surrounded by powerful spiritual, moral decadence and corruption. God had a faithful remnant in those days and in these last days He will also have a faithful remnant that will be ready for Jesus when He comes back. What was different about Noah? What was it about his character that enabled him to persevere under extreme pressure and opposition for 120 years while he built the Ark? Once again we need to look at Genesis chapters six and seven.
1. Noah found favour in the sight of God.
(6: 8) “But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord.”
God always has a faithful remnant in every age. Noah found favour in God’s sight and it was not something he had deserved or earned. The one thing he did have was faithfulness. This was the key to his spiritual strength and stability. When everyone was going the other way he was prepared to go God’s way no matter what it cost him. He had received God’s enabling power because he believed what God had said and acted upon what he believed. He had the kind of faith that justifies a person in God’s sight. By faith (faithfulness) Noah built the ark for himself and his family. Day after day he hammered, nailed and prepared the pitch for the ark. It must have been hot work and at times quite tedious but he just kept going in faith because He believed that God had said would come to pass.
A day of wrath is coming on the world and if we belong to the Lord Jesus and name the name of the Lord then we need to be separating ourselves from the evil influences and ambitions of the world. We need to be building spiritual principles into our lives every day if we want to escape God’s wrath. If we pray and study God’s Word and make these a priority in our daily living then we will grow to be more like Jesus and be ready for Him when He comes for us. The ark is a type of the Lord Jesus who is Himself “The Ark of Salvation.” If we would escape the coming wrath of God then we must love Him, love His word, love the brethren, be on active service for Him and be ready to go with Him without hesitation when He sends Jesus to snatch us away!
2. Noah was a blameless man who walked with God every day of his life.
(6:9) “Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.”
There are three special things about Noah that marked him out from the society in which he lived. You could say three spiritual qualities that set him apart from the attitudes and values of those among whom he lived.
He was righteous. Noah had a heart for the things of God. He has spiritual taste buds for God’s Word and valued the Word above everything else in his life. Not only that but he allowed God’s Word to shape his character, his lifestyle and his direction in life but especially the motives and desires of his heart. He walked by faith or faithfulness as the word for faith both in the Old and the New Testament implies faithfulness as well as belief. On the basis of that faithfulness to God’s Word he was put into a right standing with God. He not only believed that God could save him but also believed that God would save him in the end and consequently walked in that revelation. This is the kind of faithfulness that will mark the faithful remnant in these last days.
He was blameless. Noah was the kind of believer that backed up his faith with his actions. Like Abraham who would follow him. Noah believed that God would provide for him when it looked like nothing had changed in the natural. For 120 years there was no sign of rain but he continued to build the Ark, as he knew that the deluge was coming. This is the kind of persevering faithfulness will also mark the faithful remnant in these last days who know the fire is going to fall. His righteousness reflected the motives of his heart and his blamelessness reflected his outward lifestyle yet his life was not just a religious routine but also a living relationship with God.
He walked with God. Noah not only walked by faithfulness and kept his life unspotted by the world but he kept his relationship fresh with the Lord every day. He was certainly not perfect as we are not perfect but he kept short accounts with God and walked very closely with Him in all the affairs of his daily life and he had some serious decisions to make every day of his life and for 120 years at that!
In the last days the faithful remnant will have a close living and vital relationship with the Lord and in the end this is all that will matter. We need to cultivate our walk with God now because it’s not going to get easier but harder to follow after the Lord. The one danger we all face as believers is that we can lose our first love for Jesus and His Word. If we love Him then we will love and obey His Word as Noah did. Our ultimate spiritual survival depends to a great degree on the spiritual principles that we are building into our lives every day. The key to spiritual survival in these last days is to keep our relationship with God fresh every day.
3. Noah was a man who obeyed God’s Word in everything.
(6: 22) “Noah did everything just as God commanded him.”
Now Noah did not do some of what God said to do or most of what God told him to do but everything that God told him to do. He built that Ark according to God’s instructions as doing things God’s way was the only way to save himself and his family from the coming deluge soon to engulf the ancient world. Our spiritual survival in these last days depends on obeying God’s Word completely and without reservation. Remember the Lord Jesus Himself said that, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
Now is the time to get into God’s Word and obey it because our spiritual survival depends on it. For Noah it didn’t happen overnight. It took 120 years of faithfulness, diligence and consistency in spiritual matters. He had to persevere and follow all of God’s instructions. There was no sign of the flood at all and the only thing he had to stand on was the Word of God. The people of his time probably laughed at him and mocked him as they do today however, the day Noah and his family entered the ark God’s wrath was poured out without measure!
If you are not in the Ark of Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ then you need to get in now! The scripture says to, “Flee from the wrath to come” and again it says. “How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation” and again it says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.” Through the Lord Jesus Christ God has provided the Ark of Salvation and a way of escape but if we do not go through the door that God has provided we will experience the fiery judgment soon to engulf the world. If we truly belong to the Lord Jesus then we will never experience the bowls of God’s wrath! Paul told us this himself when he said, “God has not destined us for wrath but to obtain Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
4. Noah was a man who was the successful head of his family.
(7:1) “The Lord then said to Noah, ‘go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.”
Noah set an example for his family and they worked side by side with him in building the ark as they all had a common goal and that goal was unswerving obedience to God’s Word in all things. Before the destroying angel passed over Egypt to slay the firstborn the Hebrew fathers by faithfulness had to apply the animal’s blood to the doorposts of their houses to protect themselves and their families. Likewise Christian fathers are responsible for the spiritual welfare of their children. When the father applied the blood he put himself and his whole family under God’s protection consequently they were all spared when God’s wrath came down upon the Egyptians. Every Christian father is the priest over his family and responsible to God for what he does where their spiritual welfare is concerned.
5. Noah was a man who was supernaturally guided and warned by God.
(Hebrews 11:7) “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.”
Noah feared God more than he feared man and he set a straight course for his life and did not deviate from it. When Joshua had to take over from Moses God told him the secret of success. “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:7-9).
Noah turned his back on the world with its lures, its desires for the flesh and its ambitions and appetites for sin. He chose to live by faithfulness to God and His Word and not by the standards of the world. John tells us that, “Friendship with the world is enmity with God.” We cannot serve two masters! Because Noah walked with God He had the revelation that what God had said would come to pass even though nothing had changed in the natural.
6. Noah was a man who preached Righteousness.
(2 Peter 2:5) “He (God) did not spare the ancient world when He brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others.”
Noah was a holiness preacher! He did not preach a popular message but told the truth. He did not preach “seeker sensitive” sermons or “purpose driven” principles for living but the unadulterated Word of God that is “sharper than any two edged sword.” Despite rejection by the world and the scorn and levity from those who heard his message he continued to preach, “That holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.” You cannot preach righteousness unless you include the judgments of God. Before you preach grace you must give men the law of God. If they do not see their pitiful and lost condition then they will never appreciate the grace of God. Unless people see themselves as great sinners and rebels in God’s sight and under His wrath because of their sins and rebellion against Him they will never appreciate His mercy or run for refuge into the arms of Jesus “the Ark of their Salvation.” In the end after 120 years of faithful preaching only the remnant were saved and the rest perished. Peter says, “If the righteous are scarcely saved where will the ungodly and sinners appear?”
Epilogue
In these last days just before Jesus comes back, good and evil will be increasing side by side. The “wheat” and the “tares” will grow side by side in the “harvest field” of this world until the angels come to “reap the harvest” and to destroy the “tares.” As this present age comes to its close the righteous must become more righteous and those who persist in unrighteousness must by their own choice become more unrighteous. Indeed the Lord Jesus Himself said, “Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy. Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 22:11-13). God is saying to the righteous continue in your righteousness and you will never loose your eternal reward, however, He is also saying to the unrighteous to live it up as they will not have long before they reap the eternal consequences of their actions.
The Bride will make herself ready
In the book of Revelation chapter nineteen we see the pure Bride of Christ ready to meet Him at His coming and to celebrate the wedding feast of the Lamb. As it is written, “Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen bright and clean, was given her to wear. (Fine linen stands for the righteousness of the saints)” (Revelation 19:7-8). The “Bride” of Christ is dressed in His righteousness and these are the faithful ones who have endured to the end and have been eagerly waiting for His return.
The marks of the faithful remnant
When we look at the character of Noah we can see the marks of the faithful remnant that will make up the Bride of Christ in the last days. They will be faithful and walking in all of God’s will and obeying His Word. They will be seeking to lead and guide their families in the ways of the Lord and being regularly led and guided by the Holy Spirit. They will be preachers of righteousness and holiness holding out the Word of Life to a crooked and perverse generation. The Apostle Paul said, “For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose. Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life.” (Phil 2:13-16a)
Are you ready?
Are you ready for the Coming of the Lord? Do you have the garments of Salvation on? Are you and your family members under the covering of the Blood of Christ and protected from the destroying angel? Remember the times of Noah and Lot! “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.” (Luke 17:26-30)
